    I have not ordered my fiber laser from Pascal yet. I will in the next week or so. This video showed so much more "useful" and understandable information than any of the others I have been watching. Thanks again for the video and personal advise. Frank

      engraving pictures on glass is very difficult at best and is not worth the time due to each pic takes countless tweaks to get it right.

    Great Video! One question is that my images from my iPhone have a white square background when I load them into Lightburn and are not transparent. I used the same method you did in the video. Even when I use a tool to remove the background, every time I drag it into Lightburn, it has a white square background.

    • @computercreationz
      @computercreationz  Год назад

      Use png format that way you get a transparent background

    Hello Robert,
    thanks for the great video.
    However, I am surprised that with photos (not vectors) the set speed never matches the set value with a fiberlaser.
    My 300mm/sec are slower than in your video.
    But with vector graphics everything fits.
    Do you know why this is the case?
    Thank you very much !
    Toby

    Love your videos. Very informative. You spoke of sanding off your slate. What grit do you recommend for doing this. I have a few I would like to clean up. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

    • @computercreationz
      @computercreationz  Год назад +1

      I use 120 grit it makes quick work of it. Be sure you have a way to collect the dust or wear a good quality mask.

    I did a of slate for the first time yesterday while using the Omtech 180 fume extractor and omg it smelled horrible. Is that normal?? If not I wonder what the heck happened to cause the smell. Do you vent or use a fume extractor for your fiber?

      photos on metal dog tags are much harder to do than slate, I get very inconsistent results with pictures on metal. so I’m not your best resource. sorry!
