Great Lesson Tim, lots of great concepts and effective tools for improvising. Thank you for sharing. Now I'm ready to spend the afternoon in Paris playing great music.
Very helpful as always !! Thank you very much. Is it possible that you do an improvisation lesson on "Bags groove" by Milt jackson ? Love that song. Anyways ..... keep up the good work!
Thanks for your nice introduction. Does these transcriptions and etudes in your course contain piano and bass part? I would like to play it with my friends.
Thanks for this beautiful video - now I know what I‘m gonna work on this week! 😃 - By the way: Is there a nice recording of Afternoon in Paris with a singer? I found basically instrumental versions only…
Level 3 is way better than the pentatonic for starting improvising and sounding more bebop, 12345 is the new bebop pentatonic, at least for me! Who invented it? Maybe Jamey Aebersold? Any idea?
Guitar player, struggle with jazz tunes, but you provided great guidelines for approaching standards, thanks..

Not really sure - I just know it works for a lot of my students so I keep using it!
What are the parts moving under your instrument at 2:20 but not 3:00 ?
I'm guessing you meant the resonator fans? The motor was on when I played the melody but not when I played the chords.
@@TimCollinsVibes thank you !
