How do you tell whether to use the one or two tailed hypothesis test?

if you're tryna see whether your beta < beta10 you would use one tailed. If you wanna see if beta>beta10 you would use one tailed. If youre tryna see beta != beta10 use two tailed. This is because it checks both sides rather than the formers which use only one bound.
