Not only are they Italian, they're named after sheet music terms :3 SPOILER: for example the canon in parallel canon means when a melody is imitated (referencing the fact they're basically clones of the souls the Overlorder has taken!)
@@cameronhope9249 Wait. Parallel Canon’s name was also related to music? I thought it was “Canon” as in “an alternate Canon” event. If Team Order won, then this would’ve been the Splatoon 3’s canon event.
Don’t sleep on the lucky chips, I have found them incredibly useful. Every run I do I always take Poison Ink, Sticky Ink and Hindrance Damage for constant chip damage and I boost my lucky chain max and things like discs and special cans or maybe the drone battery. There is still plenty room left for weapon upgrades and nothing survives long when you put ink down and you get near endless lucky drops so your special can be charged back up before the last one is even finished, and pearl will be nonstop attacking as well. Once you get your chain maxed you will blow through stages like a juggernaut and never be swamped because the enemies will be stuck in ink
@@Red17201O I also found it very helpful to beef up the pearl droid with killer whale, splat bomb and ink strike. Then get the chips that speed up how often they can be used. Once I had enemies splatted, and turf inked building her special gauges I was getting ink strikes, bombs and wails every few seconds it seemed. I was blitzing through the levels
I should also note that ultra stamp is really powerful in this campaign, you can easily destroy a huge group of enemies and it’s part of the brush load out by default, and if you’re using any other weapon and you get to a vending machine, definitely buy Ultra stamp if you can.
I’ve found Triple Splashdown extremely helpful but I’m also biased towards it in general because it’s great when you get swarmed and backed in a corner. It also does massive damage if you use it next to Order.
the discs are so helpful if you’re having trouble completing an objective because you’re getting overwhelmed, start focusing on enemies to get the drops
Something that I haven’t seen people make use of a lot is the pearl drone, if you are in a bad spot you can easily get away by jumping and using the drone at the height of your jump to go twice as fast as your normal walk You can also use the poison ink to destroy all portals in like 3 seconds
I go for Drone upgrades all the time. Plus, when you have the Armor Break Jump hack, I always use Pearl to move out of the way. Pearl’s literally a life-saver. 🩷
Take this man's advice with a grain of salt, most of the chips he recommended are actually garbage on most weapons. Also, don't get reefslider or wave breaker, try ultra stamp, it is one of the best specials in Side Order, just behind Tri-strike in terms of power and better than Tri-strike in terms of versatility. Most weapons will not be able to paint if you max out their range without increasing their paint coverage, so make sure to balance those two chip types. Homing shots don't do anything useful on weapons other than charger and will end up hurting you rather than helping you in most situations. Mobility chips are OP and have saved my life multiple times. The squid attack is the most broken chip in this game by far because it is a free attack that pushes back and heavily damages enemies. Squid attack can't hit the flying sprinkler enemies most of the time, but it can deflect the spinning top enemies like ultra stamp because it is rush type damage. He is right about the disc and armor lucky chips being good, but don't ignore the special cans and ink bottles, those can be life savers. He's also right that piercing shots are good.
I made this comment a while ago, but the only extra thing I need to mention is that mobile ink recovery and special charge are wonderfully busted too, and that rush speed (specifically for brush) is an absolute BLAST to use.
Homing is great on weapons with a high shot spread. Eights palette has low accuracy so I got one level of Homing Shots on it and later added some Ink Damage chips. It made the weapon so much easier to use for small enemies (i forgot their name) and Battering Lentos. It isn't good if you want to focus on crowd control, though.
Something I’d like to add: Ink recovery can very useful, both sub and main. Ink recovery can also save a run, I’ve died multiple times before because I ran out of ink and my special wasn’t ready. And, as someone else said, don’t sleep on the lucky chips. Poison ink, sticky ink, hindrance damage, special cans, ink bottles, drone battery (if you have a lot of stuff for your pearl drone especially), and even lucky bomb can be very useful in a run. So can explosion knockback be useful, of course normal knockback is good as well. (Note, I have only done two complete runs so far, but I still find these very useful. So take this with a grain of salt.)
I found using Ink Mines and Curling Bombs to be good subs weapons to use during the runs. Ink Mines let you set up traps as the Jelletons come after you and Curling Bombs can knock enemies away slightly and give you path of ink to escape from the enemies.
Curling Bomb was already my favorite sub weapon, Side Order only made me love it even more! Best of both worlds being mobility (by tapping) and damage (by cooking)
7:15 I don't know what this list is, but Ultra Stamp clears for me. It can push enemies out of the way, and can really help with clearing some of the objectives, especially the spawners.
We need to talk about the power of poison ink. Just one upgrade is enough is to make it to i never have to deal with enemies for some levels; especially if I have two or three upgrades of lucky bombs
Weirdly enough, my first successful run was with the Marina Palette's default weapon kit (and heavy drone investment, plus some minor special weapon boosts). Plays a great defensive game while the sub, special and Pearl chip away at the enemies for you (I had two drone slots with the default Bomb and Killer Wail) and cover turf.
Specials like Triple Ink Strike or the Booyah Bomb are definitely helpful if your ever surrounded by enemies and are a good way to clear alot of them out
They scale with explosion radius. And explosion damage too. I one time maxed out explosion radius with inkstrike on hackless. Literally became easier than my full hacks run of the same weapon (ignoring how I died to final boss 0.001 seconds before defeating it)
With the ball boss, it's also worth mentioning that while yes it does an attack when you roll it into a peg, it also opens up it's weak spot to have more areas to shoot around its equator, making it easier to deal critical damage to it
I don’t think anyone has mentioned this yet, if so, my bad. But with Rotating Accelerando, with long range weapons, you can also defeat it faster if you target the lit up ring, especially if the top is lit up, it will just die when that happens, although not if a lower ring is lit up. All this is good advice, but any conflicting ones have already been mentioned so I won’t repeat that. Also with every single thing said, also gravitate towards what helps you in your own personal play style. I main splatanas and struggle with snipers, and yet I struggled with SO’s splatana, and my best run was with the brella. If you don’t mind spoilers, also check out speedruns of any floor you struggle with, even if you don’t do the exact same thing, you learn good tips.
Personally, poison ink combined with sticky ink is one of the strongest compilations in Side Order. Max sticky ink slows down enemies to 1% of their speed and Max poison ink damages them 800 per time. If you paint the floor you'll don't have to worry about enemies any more.
One strategy I have seen for both clearing runs AND getting lots of Prlz is to use chips of a single hue: you get an escalating end score bonus if you slot color chips of the same hue, which translates to more Prlz at the end of a run - I got at least a thousand Prlz, with x1.2 risky modifier, after completing a run with only mobility chips. It won’t be the most optimized build, but the combination of upgrades will be more than be enough.
Stamper is also excellent in runs. It doesn't do as much reliable damage, but it can clear a large area of fish in a pinch, running a path out of a corner. It's also ultra effective against the final boss, as you can keep hammering against the body of the boss without worry of accidentally slipping off, AND surprisingly it destroys the ink projectiles it shoots off. Also decent with the portals, it's a strangely good special.
Funnily enough, for the rotating boss I would actually recommend going under it, I only really do it when it lifts up to do on of those rush attacks but that’s easy enough. Saved me from dying to the laser attack on multiple occasions because I suck at outrunning it in any situation, you just need to be paying enough attention to be able to hop over the shock wave and your fine. Not exactly the quickest way but definitely the least lethal from my experience.😅
I'll definitely try using the ink rail whenever Smollusk does either the tentacle or reefslider attack. He's become smart enough to block my path with jelletons whenever he uses an attack that I have to run away from.
Pro tip: Never build more than two Homing Shot chips in a run. Anything over that, it will prioritize aiming for enemies over objectives, like 8-balls, portals, and turbines
With the Splattershot, there is a EXTREMELY effective way to take out normal portals: Step 1: Charge up your Trizooka Step 2: Throw a Splat Bomb at point blank, so it makes contact and immediately explodes. Step 3: Fire your all three Trizooka shots at the portal. Step 4: It should only take a few shots before going down.
Someone please help me or at least give me tips on how to survive a level where the lights are off AND the whole area is covered in enemy ink because my god 💀💀💀
The strongest drone chip is splat charge. Comine it with drone inkstrike and you have almost constant inkstrikes that wipe out just about everything with minimal input. You only need a few for it to be completely OP. Be wary of danger floors that could disable drone tho.
The spring ones might be my favourite ones to defeat wnd this is the idea get a lot of long range damage then jump on a crowd look down and destruction i love seeing the springs next to a portal because that way i can get a ton of hits
I did a run with pearl’s set and I had triple splashdown + splat bombs, I mainly used piercing, increased dmg, higher firing rate, homing shots, ink saver, also, if you plan on using this if your even able to, you can DECIMATE orde, but the other bosses may be tough, and try and get on easy stages if they have good or at least viable chip, and make sure you have more lives, because with me I was a glass canon, but this is just my experience with it though, not everyone is the same so, it may just not be way of playing but yea, this isn’t advice from me this is just my own experience.
With the double inker I had almost only luck chips and the offensive dodge (idk the name in english) and absolutely obliterated everything (with the discs)
They lie about the danger levels you never get given more than one at a time and it doesn't matter how many mem bucks the floors give you just choose the best perk for your weapon (whilst also looking at difficulty and level types eg if you have a roller a normal splat zones level would be easier than a hard escort level) the mem bucks add up I always have enough to buy what I need and never have to save them (I havent upgraded to get more mem bucks once). Would recommend buying the cheaper vending machine prices as it really helps 500 to what I currently have which is 350 lets me buy pretty much everything every time. They also let you buy lives for cheapened prices of about 200 each which really come in clutch if you only have one or two left (guessing you have but if you havent lives is the most important thing to upgrade imo).Would personally say start with your mains to get pearls as well as hopefully the completion. You can also go back to the elevator when you respawn and pay mem bucks to choose another if you just cant do it with your weapon (I did it earlier with a splatling and ended up completing because I did it). Sub weapons are pretty useless in my opinion if you get chips that let pearl use splat bombs that's more than enough only use I found was when I was on like floor 28 and had tons less ink usage and could throw pretty much infinitely with no delay which even then was pretty similar to just using my main. When on the levels where you shoot the black goo ball portal things if your getting swarmed just focus on the ball if you know you can get it done before you die as if you are still alive it has the booyah effect that kills everything and if you die it's still one less to worry about and you can just buy a life later. This and advice from the video should help. Wow I waffled
wavebreaker is also awesome in the way that it is both deployable(so you can keep shooting) and completely refills your ink tank like all specials do, really good in any sort of situation with high fire rate but you couldn't get enough ink saver
11:00 I will add that for the Drone Ink Mines they are stackable, unlike player dropped mines which can be very useful for crowd control or any splat zone floors (is the Drone Sprinkler actually good? I haven’t played around with it because I felt like it was lackluster)
Alright, so this is a really good bio, but he *seriously* slept on the lucky chips. If you get enough lucky chips, the game basically plays itself. the only weakness the chip has is the risk of running into a no items danger floor, but it's still incredibly useful to have lucky bombs, special cans, and armor drops be boosted significantly.
Here's how I got all the rewards fast. Upgrade in this order: Weakened enemies 2x lives Vending machine floor 25 Drone charge Drone Ink strick (do not unlock the others for higher chance of getting this one) Drone Killer wail if you want Defense up Armor up Attack up When selecting power up during run always go for drone perks. All you need to do is focus on drone charge during battle and be support. Drone will do most of the work
I first started playing side order 3 days after it came out and I’ve failed 7 times! Also, I never liked using the splat charger because the amount of time you have to wait for it to charge is insane!
Does any one know that the "killer wail" he uses is actually just 3 sting rays? Also what I do with that attack Is I run to the perimeter and just run around it until it's over, that's what I do with most of his attacks:) When the shield is down aswell it doesn't heal so you can dodge, heal, take care of enemies, charge your special or whatever if you need to! When you fight order for the first time and when you get all those chips you don't actually have to activate the killer wail, you can keep hitting him until he's done and pearl even comments saying on the lines of "You gonna keep pushing? Works for me!", if your struggling maybe you shouldn't do that bc u still get hit by his attacks and you can still die but if you just want some cool dialogue and you want to feel cool go ahead!
Nononono, when Whirling Accelerondo starts spinning fast, get UNDER is. It doesn't just send fish out from you being under it, and those stingrays are a lot harder to stay away from than the little pulse ring you have to dodge under it. Ink attack size also only increases the hitbox size of your ink bullets. That's really only good for a small number of attacks. Also... The Pear Sprinkler? The one that has her spit out a single ink sploot in a random direction every couple seconds...? Like, even at max it's not that great. Max with nag movement drone charge is FUNNY, but definirely not some kind of meta build...
Came here for tipe, until o realozed i already do most of this stuff. Except for homing shots, i just went for max charge speed to acconplish goals quickly
Tbh I can't say much because I haven't played much of side order and haven't had much experience with the specials, kraken royale just seemed good (i was only at floor 6)
I beat side order in my first run. Was wondering if the upgrade I picked had something to do with it. Had the double chip upgrade next thing I knew I was getting a couple of good 2x damage and piercings even survived the dark danger surprisingly. Feels like I just got lucky.
I'll be real honest after I defeated The final boss for the very first time every other palette was pretty easy The only one I really struggled with was agent eights that was a real challenge
Notes taken but gog I am suffering with the last one- I can get the first two phases outta the way but that last one... I get ganged up on so quickly. I just wish it checkpointed the portals.
I'm stuck on the final weapon rn. The tower itself wasn't even hard, I died twice in the entire thing and got to the end on my second attempt. The problem is that stupid final boss. I had the hacks for extra lives and cheaper continues so I had 12 lives to beat him... I literally couldn't. I beat the tower easily in 2, but couldn't beat the final boss in 12 lives. It's literally insane, especially considering how long it takes to get to the boss. It's not even hard, just ridiculously tedious. It's essentially like 40 minutes to over an hour per attempt at the boss fight, it's genuinely unfun
Did you ever beat it? I did it on my first run and I’m actually new to the whole franchise. What helped me was with the limited pallet (no way I’m turning off all hacks for first run lmao) was prioritizing piercing, range, and power chips, and only going for at least one armour drop increase, and going for the chip that turns on Pearl’s portal locking wail, plus one chip to increase the drop rate.
This video isn’t useful for me cos you assumed there was only 11 weapons 😭😭 you get a final challenge to FULLY complete Side Order after beating the first 11 weapons and it is SUFFERING

The true way to win without losing a life is to listen to your own music while playing, cause that's how i won twice, is by the music i listen to
I ended up clearing Marie's Palette in one go by building to become a walking Splat Bomb Rush.
With the double inker I had almost only luck chips and the offensive dodge (idk the name in english) and absolutely obliterated everything (with the discs)
14:39 Dory: 😀
Killer whail and ultra stamp are also very powerful. I wouldn’t suggest reefslider since you can die after th effect from the mid damage.
I recommend the kraken royale a lot it saved my winning run with big mans palette
IT'S BEEN LIKE A DAY OR SO
That's more than long enough I started late and have barely played I've already beaten it 4 nearly 5 times and am well on my way to 100%
@@Treestumpington WHAT
AND I CAN'T EVEN GET PAST FLOOR 20
those meddling doubles
Ik it's a long read but it helps
Thank you for the tips,. Need to finally finish Side Order, so this will come in handy.
I agree for those tree guys you’ll want to deal with them as quickly as possible they can be a real problem if you don’t
wavebreaker is also awesome in the way that it is both deployable(so you can keep shooting) and completely refills your ink tank like all specials do, really good in any sort of situation with high fire rate but you couldn't get enough ink saver
11:00 I will add that for the Drone Ink Mines they are stackable, unlike player dropped mines which can be very useful for crowd control or any splat zone floors (is the Drone Sprinkler actually good? I haven’t played around with it because I felt like it was lackluster)
I found drone sprinkler great for painting my feet so i can combo with squid attack or poison ink if i have a lot of sprinkler chips
Thanks for the tips the 20s floor were kicking my butt 😅
tip for 8balls, if only lentos spawn in it, GET ALL THE BALLS OFF THEIR PEDESTAL, that way they wont attack you
Alright, so this is a really good bio, but he *seriously* slept on the lucky chips. If you get enough lucky chips, the game basically plays itself. the only weakness the chip has is the risk of running into a no items danger floor, but it's still incredibly useful to have lucky bombs, special cans, and armor drops be boosted significantly.
*~Tips to enlighten people~*
•Reef slider is a good special to use when you are trying to get away from enemies swarming you
I use triple splash down it’s great for killing a big swarm of enemies quickly
8 is the William Afton of side order; she always comes back
Here's how I got all the rewards fast. Upgrade in this order:
Weakened enemies
2x lives
Vending machine floor 25
Drone charge
Drone Ink strick (do not unlock the others for higher chance of getting this one)
Drone Killer wail if you want
Defense up
Armor up
Attack up
When selecting power up during run always go for drone perks. All you need to do is focus on drone charge during battle and be support. Drone will do most of the work
yo does anybody know which song is playing at 3:46 ?
(nvm found it its "alterna hero mode 3")
lucky Bomb drop can be a life saver if you pair it with splash damage
Carb tank is awesome also ink storm if you have a luck load out
Ah, yes I do love my tank of carbohydrates
The Double Splatzone maps are Torture
I first started playing side order 3 days after it came out and I’ve failed 7 times! Also, I never liked using the splat charger because the amount of time you have to wait for it to charge is insane!
Does any one know that the "killer wail" he uses is actually just 3 sting rays?
Also what I do with that attack Is I run to the perimeter and just run around it until it's over, that's what I do with most of his attacks:)
When the shield is down aswell it doesn't heal so you can dodge, heal, take care of enemies, charge your special or whatever if you need to!
Might have had a stroke reading that but isnt that how your meant to fight it just get in its face and spam
I think everyone knows that overlorder uses sting rays as the dialogue in the fight warns you about it
for me the best movment chips is ink recovery while moving and special for moving and then use ultra stamp xD
This made me feel like an actual god…jeez, I love it.
14:23, I didn’t the sting ray was that forgettable.
The ultimate tentacles attack is actually so unfair cuz i literally killed him and the game I think it bugged AND HE STILL KILLED ME WITH THOSE💀💀💀
Nononono, when Whirling Accelerondo starts spinning fast, get UNDER is.
6:55 this is the WORST advice
Hitting it onto the bumper does MASSIVE damage and makes its weak spot way bigger
True but by doing so it spawns more enemies so it’s a big risk big reward
the big fish are my puppies, leave them alone
Don’t sleep on lucky bombs guys it can go up to 90% chance and with splash chips they become your dps easily
Lucky chips are extremely broken btw. It's a shame what you didn't pick them
How many people have done all palettes I finally have
Came here for tipe, until o realozed i already do most of this stuff. Except for homing shots, i just went for max charge speed to acconplish goals quickly
Hm, nice tips, appreciate it.
7:23 kraken royale is very good bc extra mobility and invincibility
I lost 3 times 1st time I lost I was in 16 2nd was at the last boss 3rd 25 because npc are sooo annoying but I beat it at the end
Kraken royale is also rly good because it makes you invincible
That's what I was gonna say
Have tried it but doesnt last long enough and takes too long to activate switched for triple splashdown as soon as I saw it
Tbh I can't say much because I haven't played much of side order and haven't had much experience with the specials, kraken royale just seemed good (i was only at floor 6)
The kraken start up and end lag isnt worth taking
Better to take stamp or other things that get you out of bad situations
get lucky chips but you need the lucky bombs they are soo juicy it saved my life many times
Getting to marina is easy but getting to order is the WORST!
I think he forgot about the OCTO shot
I beat side order in my first run. Was wondering if the upgrade I picked had something to do with it. Had the double chip upgrade next thing I knew I was getting a couple of good 2x damage and piercings even survived the dark danger surprisingly. Feels like I just got lucky.
I prefer the Crab Tank. It's so overpowered in Side Order.
You’re already incorrect. It is actually 12 because after you complete the locker box you get the last weapon the octo shot which is for agent 8 0:39
1:33 What if it's a bonus floor and I can't use my main weapon?
0:12 YA DONT SAY?
You forgot the parallel canon
This game is gonna give me trauma
how are you supposed to fly with Pearl though? just wanna know.
Playing with charger is gonna be so hard if you don’t have aimbot and quick charge chips.
Ngl when I need to get out of a group of enemies I just the hammer
0:35 12 actually
He hasn't unlocked the last one when he recorded the video.
I used brush before this video cause I use splatana normally so it wasn’t that hard
i never have enough prlz for a restaaart
I really like using the killer whale
This video isn’t useful for me cos you assumed there was only 11 weapons 😭😭 you get a final challenge to FULLY complete Side Order after beating the first 11 weapons and it is SUFFERING
