I don't know why watching someone clean looks so relaxing and mood altering. But , when I start , it just feels like a chore! Maybe I need a pretty , flowing dress, fresh flowers, and a wallpapered bedroom! Love your style so much! It gives me something to aspire to!
I hear you and agree, cleaning can be a chore! I’ve learned to clean in 1 hour increments, so it’s never a multi-hour thing I dread. Most days I pick one thing to clean and I keep laundry going all the time (about 1 load first thing in the morning). I haven’t had cleaning help in years, other than the windows. I’ve also learned to take care of myself before taking care of the house and it keeps me from feeling doubly grungy 😆! As always, I love how beautifully you express yourself! 🤩🥰😍

Thank you dear Marla! I try to clean for about an hour a day so it doesn't pile up! I hate the feeling of having too much to do. So yes, I've learned that cleaning doesn't have to be an all-day dirty job.I can clean when I'm clean and ready for the day. Now when I'm digging in the dirt, raking, vacuuming/mopping or cleaning the loggia - (pulling all the furniture and carpets out etc), then it's down and dirty time! I will share this side of me soon! 😘💗💗💗💗

Adore your home and you! My decor similar but on a much smaller scale. I have 1200 square feet only but love the semi formal but cozy style accenting personal and antique touches. And yes I too clean in a cotton dress or skirt with my hair loose. It’s much cooler than yoga pants or jeans and reminds me I am feminine. Bless you and your home. Love from rainy humid Michigan

Indeed 🙌🏻, I wear cotton and linen dresses all summer long for the exact same reasons. It took me way too long to learn to take care of myself first, before taking care of everyone and everything all day long! As my oldest daughter said recently, “I’ve learned that simply washing my hair has a profound impact on my mood”. And those times when I forget to take care of myself - well life just isn’t as sweet. Hi, Great question! I do not have cleaning help, but I’m a big believer in getting the help we need. Here, I’m showing how I’ve learned to incorporate most cleaning into my daily routine so it’s not so cumbersome. An hour a day, in the middle of other responsibilities, can accomplish a lot. I also have a place for everything, so our home stays picked up and tidy. When it’s time to wax floors, scrub toilets and the like, my hair goes up along with the most comfortable shoes - still wearing a dress lol but one I no longer care much about. There are times when we need help! Asking for and finding good help is key to making our life work well. I have help in other areas of my life btw. So many ways to (puzzle) piece our ever-changing lives together. Blessings 🩷
