My 40s and 50s were my best years so far. Had the best sex and really fun times. You see the kids grow up and I have my freedom back now, so I am looking forward to my 60s....and will make them even better. So people.. stop complaining and change your bad habits... Live now..😜

"I hate aging." Well, aging beats the alternative.

When I was in my 30s and 40s until around 55 I walked for miles on beaches in Fort Lauderdale, went to Key West all the time and Miami and Myrtle Beach, Caribbean islands and Vegas and New Orleans and Palm Springs. Walked around antique markets for hours i was very active and now I'm 64, and I can't even walk from my front door to my truck. Let me just say you can wear out your body. I wore out my body and now I have back issues and had to have a hip replacement and developed health issues and I cannot get myself back to normal. Did you know that the average lifespan of a gay man is much lower than a heterosexual man for many reasons. Many gay men that I know or knew died between the age of 55 and 72 sadly. 😢

I am 2 years away from 40. Mostly, I am without lingering discomfort. But my body does this new thing where it effectively says, "I notice you've been lounging for an hour. You want to be in that position forever right? It's alright if I start locking all your joints in place? No? What do you mean you want to get up?"

I am 70 but my brain tells me I am 27. I have no intention of doing anything gracefully

Being in your 40s is a great decade as long as you're healthy and have some money. The problems for many start by your mid-50s when you slowly start to become half the man you once were. Your body starts to fall apart you lose your looks, nobody looks at you anymore, you really start to get wrinkles and age spots, your hair starts to turn gray, your teeth start to rot. You have nowhere near the energy and by the time you get into your 60s you start to turn into an old man. It's very sad. Make the very best of the next 20 years!

I’m aging fabulously. I’m 66 and came out only three years ago. Thanks to my genes I’ve never looked my age. Yet. Good, because I’m exploring my “gayness” and having a ball despite moments of confusion and anxiety. I’m the weird and kooky coworker/friend/uncle. I’m and equal opportunity annoyer and have slowly learned that the opinion of me that counts the most is mine.

Turning 57 next month, @ 48 I was diagnosed with an odd lung disease, last year , Mar 23 , I received Bi lateral lung transplant, I’m reliving those lost years . Slight graying but still a dirty blonde, just get my high n tight every two weeks, all is good. But it sux getting old I’ve shrunk 4 inches due to the meds, spine issues, compression fractures, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, spinal Stenosis, Gastroperrisus and need reading glasses. All from those Damn meds, but I press on don’t let the young crowd act foolish and as is said, Life’s shit but I’m loving! Cheers Mates , love ya guys y’all great! AN hour north of NYC GUY

60, gay. A bit shocked to be this old. But also grateful for all the gay progress :) love your podcast. I definitely do not feel 60. I am the happiest and most content that I have ever been.
