    Just clamouring to get through the majority of my footage before upgrading my PC and the Phantom dropping, if you're a newer subscriber then upload frequency is usually a little more spaced out than this, and the quality of editing would be slightly higher too, things are just manic atm so I apologise.
    Phantom tomorrow though! HYYYYPPPPPPEEEEEEE

    I can't miss a Mirage F1 with Bullet piloting it. Wonderful and enjoyable like always.

    I talk all day at work and the last thing I want when I get home is to talk more while playing. I like to enjoy my Bose surround sound with 5 speakers around me. There are so many times I have spotted an enemy chopper or a plane just by the it’s sound. Unless I have my personal GCI, which never happened,so I fly solo. Sure, when you are an ace on RUclips, GCI will provide concierge service , hehe. As a nobody , Target software is my friend and I use EWR for Picture and Friendly Picture to see what’s going on with a single press. So, i just spam it. I learned MiG 21 exclusively for its IFF and those R3Rs do wonders for me. Petrovich in the Hind is the mighty eye that finds all the targets for me. I only wish the Mirage had IFF. What I do once I lock the target in the Mirage F1, I use Friendly Picture to IFF with a single button press. It does not work in the fireball though. For the Contention server, you don’t need GCI since you have a proper radar and missiles. I suppose I should get the Apache and the Phantom so that AI will be my best friend , just like Petrovich
    PS I take magics all the time, it’s hard to hear the sidewinder growl in the Mirage, unlike in any other plane. That aiming at the top of the hud with AIM 9P or B does not work for me. I love that tone from the magic lock

      You can hear helis outside your cockpit? That’s mental.
      I have a setting switched on for “hear like in helmet” and I wonder if it might be costing me some SA

    • @NoRegret08
      @NoRegret08 4 месяца назад

      I can hear helis from outside the cockpit of my heli. When I was in Gazelle, I heard MI8 from quite a distance on my left as I passed it and that's how I found it. When flying the Hind, I hear Gazelle's engines as well. I don't hear anything from KA 50 on Contention. When in planes, I hear not just a sonic booms, but I hear near misses. I have not experimented with "hear like in helmet " setting , mine is unchecked. Since the rear Bose speakers are right behind me, I know the direction or position of an enemy aircraft, most of the time. Same goes for FPS games like Insurgency Sandstorm, but for a much greater extent . I use sound ques to find the enemy. When wearing headphones , whether it's a $500 pair that I returned or a $100 pair that I keep, I can't use audio for nothing. My Bose system is $2000 5.1 Lifestyle V20 from 2006 and it still works perfectly (Dolby Digital 5.1). I use Sound blaster X3 sound card (external) with Dolby Digital 5.1 encoder (software) to create that 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound. HDMI 2.1 out sound alone does not create or keep the surround sound for my old Bose system, hence the external X3 soundcard, connected to my gaming laptop with RTX 3070Ti and that goes to 55 inch OLED and sound goes to X3 external sound card into Bose.

    Really beautiful spiral climb energy trapping the Sabre. Over the should look - awesome. In a fly off in 1965 for all US fighters air force and navy, the same maneuver worked for the F-104 against the Sabre; a 300kt spiral climb. Sabre loaded up his big wing trying to follow the F-104 up, bled all his speed, allowing the 104 to use its massive thrust advantage. This was simulating the F-104 against the MIG-17. The article: Project Featherduster: the exercise that proved the F-104 could have been a better MiG killer than the F-4C, F-105D and F-100D. You simulated this in the F1. Nice work.

    Beasting as usual =). Good job! Still loving some Mirage F1 action over here!
    Is it funny that I can recognise some War Thunder'isms in the way you fight? :D To me, it is. Stuff like high-angle deflection shots, basically head-on shots at the merge, spiral climbs... I feel like that's the bread and butter of WT, because I've done those myself a million times, but I sledom take the chance in DCS, because I can't hit for shit and bullets are not a commodity I can easily reload, like in Arcade WT =).
    Btw, I know you're talking about the F-4 here and there, but do you have the F-14, Bullet? I never see you flying it, if you do. If you like the Mirage F1, you should love the Tomcat! It's massive fun in bfm! =)

    • @Bullet4MyEnemy
      @Bullet4MyEnemy  4 месяца назад +1

      I actually never played WT arcade, but I know head on shots are the norm in the mouse aim modes, they’re actually super hard in DCS I think, much prefer to shoot a top down silhouette than a nose/tail one, bigger target and easy leading.
      High angle deflection is just a product of having a radar gunsight I think, I think following the lead pipper instead of the fixed one kinda makes you chase them with that rather than how you would without it, I’ve noticed it giving me bad habits - might talk about it next time it happens in a video.
      I don’t have the Tomcat, it doesn’t really appeal to me - the most enticing thing about it is how people say you have to reign it in at times which sounds similar to the MiG-21; but after getting the 21 and finding that the community like to exaggerate I think it’s dulled my interest in the Tomcat even more.
      I’m sure I’ll have it actually just because I’ll run out of other stuff, but it’s not on the cards at the moment.

    • @riman8493
      @riman8493 4 месяца назад

      @@Bullet4MyEnemy That's a shame about the Tomcat. It's, by far, my favourite. So full of character. Really speaks to you. Similar to the F1, but better (IMO - I might be biased).
      It's really about the way it flies, for me. I don't find it particularly difficult, tbh. It's just quite alive and manual. Just about the farthest from FBW you can get (despite having a competent SAS). Just feels like the FM is insanely detailed and nuanced.
      I don't find the gunsight nearly as accurate as the F1's and it involves a good deal of prediction and guess work to make it work.
      Anyway, if it's a challenging jet you want, that's probably not it. It feels very good, but it's biggest challenges are primarily the poor visibility (which you're used to from similar jets), its bvr capabilities vs modern stuff (which don't really come into play with the stuff you do) and the gun. For the rest, it's got power and fuel for days and very good turn rate and radius compared to most other stuff you usually fight. Energy management is a thing, but no worse than the F1 and similar.
      Agreed on your WT/snap shots points. At times I also see you do energy excursions I would be uncomfortable with, for a chance snap shot. Sometimes they land, sometimes they don't, but you generally fly more aggressively in those situations than I'm usually comfortable with in DCS - primarily because, fighting the AI, if you miss those, you usually end up regretting it. I guess vs players, it's a different matter, as they don't terminator+ufo your ass =).

    Hey brother i play war thunder and in war thunder all the mirage f1s got MTI mode (moving target indicator) for its radar i don’t really know about dcs and i have no idea if you used it in this video or not 😅 i just wanted to let you know👍

    • @Bullet4MyEnemy
      @Bullet4MyEnemy  3 месяца назад

      Yeah, MTI was added a while ago, but I haven’t flown the F1 in WT since before that.
      In DCS the F1’s radar modelling is super basic, WarThunder actually does a much better job - it should be updated eventually but the dev team have promised 4 variants of the F1 so they’re probably working on the final one before making the radar simulation better.
      Not the best way to prioritise for multiplayer, but all the single player people are probably happy with an over performing radar for the time being..
