It's been a while since I made a camping vlog. Hope you enjoyed it! 💚 Check the description for links and recipes and let me know what you think in the comments! 👇
Comment: Hey there! Just finished watching your camping vlog, and it brought back so many great memories. The cooking tips and recipes were fantastic! By the way, have you heard about the freebeat Morph 2-in-1 eBike? I recently discovered it and it's such a game-changer. Not only does it offer an incredible riding experience, but it also has a unique indoor recharge feature. Imagine being able to charge your eBike while cycling indoors! It's a great way to stay fit and eco-friendly. Definitely worth checking out if you're into biking and exploring. Keep up the amazing work! 😄
I love tent camping! I am 64 year old female and I have been camping for 45 years. I enjoy camp cooking! I appreciate your cooking, camping, and video work! And being real!❤️⛺❤️ Keep up the great work!
Man, I love a planning video - last month, we went all the way to the northern Adirondacks here in NY. And for reasons that made sense to us at the time (heat and the long drive) we decided to stop half way there for a few groceries and then head out on the second day for the remainder of our food. As a result, I now have duplicates of condiments and other staples! (The only thing we got absolutely correct was coffee...I have my priorities.)
Lovely fun video. I’m just working on a food plan for a family car camp next week and your cobb salad is an inspiration. We normally do big salads but you had me with the sheet of bacon. Also inspiring to see the Osprey nest. We saw a nest w a pair a few weeks ago at Lake Ontario and that never gets old. Cheers!
I love your cooking ideas. I've made your foil packet meals a few times now - the apple crumble one in particular. Nothing more relaxing than pottering around the camp fire and camp kitchen
I loved this vid! I REALLY like seeing the “realness” of things…I have certainly ran into some issues while camping too like bad weather, forgot a crucial item at home, being eaten alive by bugs, etc.
Fun video and great filming techniques. You guys are getting better and better at it. I've watched many of your videos but first time commenting. Always enjoy your organized and planner personality. Good cook too. Looks like a lot of work but worth it. Good thing you're young and fit!
Hello, this is my first time listening from Japan. So it will be helpful. interesting! Your wife's speaking style is very good! I will continue to listen to it while translating it.
Thanks Amanda! This video is phenomenal! I love the cool shots and the editing is amazing! I've been using one of your trail mix recipes for a couple of years now and I make it all the time!
... Always Enjoy your video's ... many of my outings start with a base camp from the vehicle so it makes good sense to take a few extra things ,, like cast cookware ,etc .. My extent of actual meal prepping is to make meals to large to consume then dehydrate and vac seal the left overs ,, taste so much better than typical store bought camp and trail meals .. But WOW !! that Chocolate Chip Brownie turned out AWESOME !! .. Going to have to try to make one ,, even though the Dr. says "NO" ,, but who's gonna tell ?? Won't be any evidence left .... Love the Nature viewing of the Osprey's ..Looks like would be easy to take along an air pump ,, maybe even a frame mount bicycle type ,, no need to exert the wind ,those mattresses take a little work .. Always a good watch .. Stay Safe ..
Thanks for so many camp ideas for so many years of yea team campers. And great how to and sometimes you share things that did not work for you but still share 😊
Hi Amanda, thanks for all your great videos. I'd love to try some Dutch oven baking (your treats always look amazing) but we're usually dealing with lots of fire bans. Have you ever tried Dutch oven recipes over a gas fire pit?
I love your videos! ALL the food looks not only delicious, but healthy! I, too, would want to camp where I could see the Osprey nest with the babies💓. I’m going to make the chicken salad, even though I’m not camping. It is extremely hot here…I’m so looking forward to Fall so I can get out there and camp! Thank you for the videos! Take care!
I have never heard of cobb salad before today. Earlier it was a question on The Chase UK and now you’ve mentioned it!! I must try it, I think it’s the universes way of introducing it to me 😂😂😂 I’ll take the hint - I need less take outs more salads 😂
Your videos always make me want to camp even more than we already do! When I miss camping I’ll make your Dutch oven meals in the backyard over our charcoal grill 😂😁 Also, I have always wanted to learn to knit! What resources are you using to teach yourself how to knit beanies and sweaters? Thank you again for making another awesome video! :)
@Amanda - Do you find that you get sad/depressed when the work week comes around, or does camping on the weekends give you something to look forward to so it doesn't make you sad on Sunday nights? (Of course, I am assuming you work a M-F type job.) Love your videos!!
Noticed you wearing some sunglasses retainers. I'm in the market for some new ones, any recommendations? Didn't see them listed in your website gear list. Sending good vibes and thanks from The Netherlands.
I agree with Nick - those cookies looked pretty dang good for “wingin” it. Interesting to hear you typically are always with your DO and a bag of charcoal. I carry a lot of things in my vehicle on a daily basis, but a DO and charcoal isn’t one of those things. 😂 Actually sounds like a good idea - never know when you might have a baking emergency. 😉
Amanda ,this video was very good much more inclusive then other ones I love the way you guys did this one keep up the good work THANK YOU Frank from montana.....
@@amanda.outside hello Amanda , I am glad you got it. Did you get the letter in it ? By the way those stories in it are my real stories . I am not a writer so excuse the spelling . I got a little over 900 pounds of meat from that beast that's why I put that book together ...THANK you for your response.... Frank
Amanda!! 🥰 Another awesome vid! Drooling over those Dutch oven cookies 🥹 Question: is that Icelandic wool known to be itchy? Love your sweater so far! 😊
Yes I think the wool can be a little itchy for some people. I don't really mind it, but I plan for this sweater to be more of an outer layer, so I will have a shirt on underneath... unless it ends up being too small. Since this is my first sweater I'm not totally sure about the overall sizing! 😬 🤞
What is Nick’s contribution to the prep? Asking as a spouse of one who is not a camper, nor any kind of a house keeper. I’m still trying to train mine on how to break down and pack up camp. It’s why I camp alone most of the time - less work.
Really. Enjoy your channel ! Thanks for your positive attitude and love the lists !!!!!! My daughter knits. She is your age You will make. Cool things. As she has. !!!! Keep up the shows.

A camping cook book needs to be in the works 🏕
She does have an E-book of her recipes linked under the more button. Hope that helps.
A camping cookbook is a great idea!

This is one of my favorite videos you have done. Love seeing the start to finish. However I do love all of your videos.
Thank you!! It was really fun to film something a little different and show the whole process instead of just the camp part! So glad you liked it!
I love the from home videos! I know it's not super interesting but I love watching the whole process because I always learn something from you!😊
I'm so glad you liked this! I usually start filming once I'm at camp, but it was fun to show the whole process this time starting at home!
All your meals are simple but look so amazing. The at home prep was interesting. Loved the Osprey footage.

Honestly I could just watch videos of you talking about knitting projects in the car while its storming :D

Just over here leaving those Osprey as an incredible surprise eh? 😂♥️ Thank you everything about this was so lovely.
Good video. All the food looked great and awesome. That cookie bar looked so delicious.
I love your cooking ideas. I've made your foil packet meals a few times now - the apple crumble one in particular. Nothing more relaxing than pottering around the camp fire and camp kitchen
Love getting my prep done at home, goes so much easier at my campsite. Simple meals are so key to great meals.
I loved this vid! I REALLY like seeing the “realness” of things…I have certainly ran into some issues while camping too like bad weather, forgot a crucial item at home, being eaten alive by bugs, etc.
Would love to know a general idea of where this beautiful campsite is!

Hi Amanda, thanks for all your great videos. I'd love to try some Dutch oven baking (your treats always look amazing) but we're usually dealing with lots of fire bans. Have you ever tried Dutch oven recipes over a gas fire pit?
I LOVE your brown butter cookies!!❤

You haven’t been appearing in my subscription feed in a looong time! Why?? I’m so happy this video appeared ❤❤
Welcome back!! 🤗
LOVED this video! And the music!
Yay!! The music sometimes takes me forever to decided on! Glad you enjoyed it! 🤗
Just started camping and I love your videos. Are you able to tell us where you are camping in this one? I love the site with the place to swim.
My happy place. Inside a tent when it rains.
Your videos always make me want to camp even more than we already do! When I miss camping I’ll make your Dutch oven meals in the backyard over our charcoal grill 😂😁

Your campsite is breathtaking! I noticed you packed a lot of food, especially in totes. Aren’t you scared of bears?
Noticed you wearing some sunglasses retainers. I'm in the market for some new ones, any recommendations? Didn't see them listed in your website gear list.
Sending good vibes and thanks from The Netherlands.
You're superwoman! If I tried baking cookies, even with briquettes, they'd either be half raw or burnt. That was a beautiful area. Where was that?
Great as always1
Hello. The weatherproof storage container what brand and size were you using? Thanks. ☺️
Nice vid Amanda!
Hi ! I agree a cook book would be great! Anyway were was this camping trip filmed ? I looks beautiful!
I agree with Nick - those cookies looked pretty dang good for “wingin” it. Interesting to hear you typically are always with your DO and a bag of charcoal. Loved this video even though I don’t eat meat 😂. Happy trails.🤘🏻🥾⛰️
Can you link where you got the blue bowls and your plates? 😊
Love the video. Ended to soon.😢😊😅🎉🎉

Where did the pre-made chicken salad with mustard and stuff go..?
Congratullations of the pregnancy, the out of breath was the giver.
Very nice 🤠
I forgot to ask, where did you get the bowl you used with your Cobb Salad
It's from Barebones Living
They make a lot of recipes for Dutch oven
Wow
awesome❤❤❤❤
I’d really love to know - where were you camping in this video?
I see your starting a new red light district on the trail! LMAO
Is it ok to ask your camping location? Thx
Why didn’t you share your check list?
PS: On my best day, my chocolate chip cookies never looked that good! 😊
Hi, Jane Seymour
I'm scared of losing you to the food network
😂😂
I forgot the charcoal 🤦🏻♂️😳
Food looks amazing, I usually just grab some beans and weiners on the way and a bottle of whiskey lol 😅
What kind of sociopath puts raisins in chocolate chip cookies, and wears a dress camping??? Haha....JK.

I think you got a great thing going. Thanks so much for your inspiration
