I've had a similar conversation with my friends about when you read whether you read in a voice, read and just interpret, or practically watch a movie. This led to the conversation of when you see a tree do you say "tree" and you think "it's pretty", or do you think in your head 'pretty tree' or do you interpret the tree and think 'tree essence & pretty' but not in that order. It's very fascinating since it can explain how people think and take the information. If you read a book and end up watching a movie no wonder textbooks are so dull you can't picture most things in a textbook since you more than likely don't understand the thing they are trying to teach you within the book. While those who can speed read might have a fast inner dialog to help them compress the info faster, while those with no inner dialog can just absorb info since they have nothing slowing them down to interpret before obtaining the information.

I bought a crystal ball with witch hands, made noise and light, a throw pillow with the skull and flowers - it was a dark pillow; Michaels had a similar white version last year, I also got some snow globes and wine glasses. Bed, Bath and Beyond has some things except my store had it pulled as 'too early'. FOOLS!

The other night I watched an old Spirit Halloween video from SouthernASMR Sounds. I spotted Miserable Marie and was immediately like, “It’s Jade!” Lol I was excited this week, because we figured out that a pumpkin plant randomly sprouted in my mom’s garden.
I had one of those cicadas killers fly at my face once living in Kansas! I still have nightmares 😂! I just love your channel. Your just so fun! I’ve got a permit spooky decor. This year we bought a pink toed tarantula. She’s on my decor shelf (it’s safer from our cats there) so she’s part of my decorating 😊.

I’m sssoooo with you regarding the constant inner monologue. Sometimes I just flat out talk to myself…like out loud…and I don’t even always realize that it’s out loud. When my husband ‘catches’ me I just tell him I’m having a staff meeting. We’ve been together right at 20 years. At this point he just shakes his head and walks away. 🤣🤣

Hi! I just popped in to At Home, and there isn't anything on the shelves yet here in Memphis. I did see empty aisles with a bunch of unpacked boxes in the same area the store places all holiday décor. Last year it was around the 8th or 9th they had two aisles set, so I am thinking the store will follow suit this year, once they clear out some July 4th items. The Tuesday Morning store in the suburbs has a small section they started to set up last week, and are slowly building on. I haven't had a chance to check out anything else around the Memphis area yet.
Whoa my first CD was Ace of Base too, I got it from my uncle as a gift. Still love them. Now that the 4th is over, I hope we slowly start to see more stuff coming out. Man it's been too many years, I now unconsciously say the intro along with you every single time. 😂

Hey Ghoul! Yay for spooky decor! I am one of those weirdos without an inner dialogue. Pretty much instead of verbal dialogue, I think in abstract images and pretty much just think in actions.
Hey ghoul hey!! Oooooo thank you so much for responding to the question cuz I find this is so fascinating!! I'm curious, do you have a photographic memory or is it more of like visualizing the actions... or is it more abstract shapes and colors and stuff... or all of the above?
@@JadeTheLibra it’s funny you mention the photographic memory because I do have a partial photographic memory (because photographic memory is like a spectrum too). Usually I visualize in actions, and if it’s something too weird my brain tries to abstract it. There’s something about my brain that just leans more into intense visualization since I also have color synthesia (my brain assigns colors to letters) so I think that’s probably connected to the visualization dialogue rather than verbal dialogue.
I don’t have an inner monologue either and I also think in visual abstracts. I have a photographic memory too. My mind isn’t always quiet, I hear music a lot and sometimes movie/tv dialogue. I’m autistic and frequently experience sensory overload, silence is my friend and sometimes I can’t speak when I’m overwhelmed. I wonder if that has anything to do with the lack of inner monologue.
I’m going to go inside bath and body just to smell fall candles and get my Halloween fix lol Tuesday Morning in my area closed ☹️ the table top stuff is cute for dollar tree. I expect more from bigger stores

I hate wasps. Our balcony always gets them around this time of the year. They don't even make a nest or anything, but there's always about 10 just flying around (shudders) we try to spray them with bug spray lol scary

I don’t have an inner monologue!! I hate when a room is quiet because that means everything is completely silent. I also have always struggled reading aloud because I can’t read the word in my mind first. So when I speak it’s the first time I’m hearing it too! It’s a struggle 😂😂 also my filter is lacking because I don’t talk myself out of saying something before it spills out of my mouth. Good times! Yea…. So I usually fill the silence with random noises and words 😂

Same I'm 55 so I go back to no remote for TV you had to get up and turn the dial and only 13 channels. Also the rotary dial phones that was stuck to the wall so you had to stay there to talk on the phone. There are so much more but I will leave it there

Saw diy . Get tube float at dollar tree. Tape it in circle form and make own wreath. Foam float allows sticking flowers etc into it. You could add black flowers, plants, spray ivy black and use those pics with 3 to 5 spooky things on each one. Add small mr skrleton.
I saw a couple of fall things popping up in the mess of home items littered around Dollar General, but alas all I've run across so far. Oh! And a bunch of Halloween stuff at Thriftworld in Independence, but it was all very orange and pumpkiny which isn't my vibe

As someone without an inner monologue, I couldn't possibly imagine hearing myself inside my head 24/7. With that being said, I talk to myself all the time. If I'm not talking out loud, then i can have a full blown conversation inside my head, but it's silent. I just think of what I'm saying and I don't hear it. I've asked several people who have inner monologue and they tell me that they audibly hear their own voice in their head. That's INSANE

I’m sssoooo with you regarding the constant inner monologue. Sometimes I just flat out talk to myself…like out loud…and I don’t even always realize that it’s out loud. When my husband ‘catches’ me I just tell him I’m having a staff meeting. We’ve been together right at 20 years. At this point he just shakes his head and walks away. 🤣🤣

Hi! I just popped in to At Home, and there isn't anything on the shelves yet here in Memphis. I did see empty aisles with a bunch of unpacked boxes in the same area the store places all holiday décor. Last year it was around the 8th or 9th they had two aisles set, so I am thinking the store will follow suit this year, once they clear out some July 4th items. The Tuesday Morning store in the suburbs has a small section they started to set up last week, and are slowly building on. I haven't had a chance to check out anything else around the Memphis area yet.
Whoa my first CD was Ace of Base too, I got it from my uncle as a gift. Still love them. Now that the 4th is over, I hope we slowly start to see more stuff coming out. Man it's been too many years, I now unconsciously say the intro along with you every single time. 😂

Hey Ghoul! Yay for spooky decor! I am one of those weirdos without an inner dialogue. Pretty much instead of verbal dialogue, I think in abstract images and pretty much just think in actions.
Hey ghoul hey!! Oooooo thank you so much for responding to the question cuz I find this is so fascinating!! I'm curious, do you have a photographic memory or is it more of like visualizing the actions... or is it more abstract shapes and colors and stuff... or all of the above?
@@JadeTheLibra it’s funny you mention the photographic memory because I do have a partial photographic memory (because photographic memory is like a spectrum too). Usually I visualize in actions, and if it’s something too weird my brain tries to abstract it. There’s something about my brain that just leans more into intense visualization since I also have color synthesia (my brain assigns colors to letters) so I think that’s probably connected to the visualization dialogue rather than verbal dialogue.
I don’t have an inner monologue either and I also think in visual abstracts. I have a photographic memory too. My mind isn’t always quiet, I hear music a lot and sometimes movie/tv dialogue.
I’m autistic and frequently experience sensory overload, silence is my friend and sometimes I can’t speak when I’m overwhelmed. I wonder if that has anything to do with the lack of inner monologue.

I hate wasps. Our balcony always gets them around this time of the year. They don't even make a nest or anything, but there's always about 10 just flying around (shudders) we try to spray them with bug spray lol scary

I don’t have an inner monologue!! I hate when a room is quiet because that means everything is completely silent. I also have always struggled reading aloud because I can’t read the word in my mind first. So when I speak it’s the first time I’m hearing it too! It’s a struggle 😂😂 also my filter is lacking because I don’t talk myself out of saying something before it spills out of my mouth. Good times!

According to the Hard Mountain Dew website, you can only get it in Florida, Tennessee and Iowa at the moment. BUT (ICYMI) I did see canned Baja Blast Energy Drinks at the grocery store recently! And there are plenty of BB cocktail recipes put there to DIY. 🥤🍸🍹🤪

My Dollar Tree & Dollar General won't be putting Halloween out until July 14th. It's a sad situation here in East TN.
Here in Vegas there's these giant flying beetles, Palo Verde beetles, frickin yikes. Also some sort of cicada killer and tarantula killer. Lol lots of scary insects in the desert 🏜

Same I'm 55 so I go back to no remote for TV you had to get up and turn the dial and only 13 channels. Also the rotary dial phones that was stuck to the wall so you had to stay there to talk on the phone. There are so much more but I will leave it there

Saw diy . Get tube float at dollar tree. Tape it in circle form and make own wreath. Foam float allows sticking flowers etc into it. You could add black flowers, plants, spray ivy black and use those pics with 3 to 5 spooky things on each one. Add small mr skrleton.
I saw a couple of fall things popping up in the mess of home items littered around Dollar General, but alas all I've run across so far. Oh! And a bunch of Halloween stuff at Thriftworld in Independence, but it was all very orange and pumpkiny which isn't my vibe

As someone without an inner monologue, I couldn't possibly imagine hearing myself inside my head 24/7. With that being said, I talk to myself all the time. If I'm not talking out loud, then i can have a full blown conversation inside my head, but it's silent. I just think of what I'm saying and I don't hear it. I've asked several people who have inner monologue and they tell me that they audibly hear their own voice in their head. That's INSANE
