The other day my husband was talking about how he wants to go cruising (as in a cruise ship) someday. The first thing that popped in my mind and out of my mouth was, "CRUISIN' to JOANNNN!" I picked up my first Halloween decor yesterday at Cracker Barrel. There was a salt and pepper shaker that was a WITCH, FLYING ON A BROOM! 😂. It was only $7.99 and so cute!

The paper wasp nests work! My house is cedar shake and they love to build their nests under the shakes- I hung up a few this year and I have no nests!

The fake wasp nest really works, they won't invade other wasp nesting area if the nest is big. Had my brother get one and it took care of them fast, however you move it each year because they know that it is last years nest and they don't use the same nest in places that have winter. I was as bad as you are; I was stung badly when I was young and they were always chasing after me plus my mother is allergic. Then some time ago I hypnotized myself (through watching a hypnotist on TV ) and it really worked! Now I'm not afraid and they don't pay attention to me at all. I also watched a bunch of documentaries on them and learned how great they are at killing mosquitoes etc. Just a suggestion. It really was ruining my summers. I'd sweat all over, hyperventilate, start running and crying every time I heard one. People laughed and I just stayed inside. God forbid if one got in the house. Got rid of my fear of spiders too.
It’s always Halloween for me!! Summer just depresses me unlike how some people feel in Winter, I always long for Fall and Winter, I have the most fun then!

Hey! I'm not sure if someone else mentioned it but you don't have to buy a fake wasp nest. Put some grocery bags or something inside a brown paper bag to give it some shape and hang that up. It keeps wood bees away from deck areas too. 😉
The Spooky Cider Lane candle is insanely delicious smelling! It has a touch of Carmel smell mixed with a spicy apple. Awesome! I highly recommend!

To a fellow Libra and "Halloween Freak " (and proudly so!) Thanks for all you do braving the nasty. Midwest weather in the heat of Summer, to bring us news of all the Spooktackular Halloween goodies coming our way! Last year's Halloween wasn't the best for me. Instead of enjoying my Spooky weekend I was sicker than a dog and wound up being hospitalized for nearly an entire month because of a severe infection. Looking forward to a much better Halloween this year watching old reruns of the old "Dark Shadows" t.v. series. (Even my Grandfather on my Mom's side loved that show!) So sorry for the loss of your little fur baby Bailey. I have lost more than one of my fur babies over the years, and it doesn't get much easier. 💔 The only thing that comforts me is that I know they are waiting for me up in heaven. I have dreamed about them from time to time and I know that's just them checking in with me and letting me know that they are fine on the other side waiting for me . I am so ready for fall and Halloween. Ever since moving to east Texas (where I can’t go outside at any time of day for like six months of the year), I have gotten waaaaaaay more into Halloween. It gives me something to look forward to and focus on a time when I can actually go for a walk outside at night. But I just love everything about the fall 🎃 so much fun and nostalgia too
