Wow isnt 42 high risk and ur in ur 3rd trimester and on ur feet all day, wow i have to say ur amazing i was in my 20s and heavily pregnant on my feet all day and could barely handle it. Your going to make an amazing mum 😊

I'm trying to work as much as possible as I get 12 weeks off but only 1 week paid. I was under the impression I couldn't have kids and hadn't been on birth control in 20 years so this all was very unexpected to say the least! Haha

I have an autistic nine year old son who loves any decor so Christmas stays awhile and some years the small tree stays all year and we decorate for different holidays🤷🏻♀️ This year I've been sick most of the year so whatever is easier for Mom😂 I believe he's wanting the tree to move to his bedroom this time😄
He’s one of us! One of us! One of us! My mam also let me put a little something Christmas in my bedroom when I was younger. No surprises I have Halloween, tinsel and other seasonal bits out all year 😂

Nosferatu was great! I love horror movies but love that it didn’t go the scary scary kind of direction. It was also so beautifully shot. I adored all of it really. Saw it on Christmas Day and don’t think I’ve seen the movies packed like that in a minute. Made me happy so many people came out 🦇🖤
I feel ya about pregnancy pain. Walking normally is something that’s easy to take for granted until you CAN’T. I suffer from bi-lateral osteoarthritis and every step is painful. Enjoy being pain free now. Happy for ya. ❤
I usually leave mine up until February .. maybe even March 1st! I just hate how bare my house feels and the Christmas decorations make everything so cozy and I figure… if I can’t fast forward through winter I may as well leave it all up and keep my house as cozy as possibly during the winter months so I can enjoy it 🤷♀️🤷♀️😂🤣

On new years eve. I was in bed by 9:30. I was really 😫 been going back & forth the hospital since the week of Thanksgiving. I am so over hospital. But that new year & had to work. Happy New Year
I had no problems being pregnant (probably because I'm fat naturally,lol) and was planning on having a third one without a second thought. My first was the easiest baby known to man so I assumed they were all like that. Then the second one came along and he was the polar opposite of his brother (three years apart). Long story longer, needless to say many thousands of dollars and every type of shrink/therapist/therapy later WASN'T having any more. Always thought about being a surrogate for someone because of easy, easy pregnancies but in the end didn't think I could handle that. Oddly enough, I don't want to take my Christmas decor down, still enjoying looking at it. Happy New Year to you and yours.

We always take our Christmas decor down on New Year's Day, but I leave up/put out everything that is just winter. I'll add Valentine's stuff later this month, then I'll change it all over to my spring/St. Patrick's decor on March 1.
Spent my new years eve packing because hubby got a job in UT with my brothers.he drove out today and I'm flying with our two boys (1 and almost 3) on the 13th. I wanted to just go to sleep so bad but I had to pack and ghoul I regretted it in the morning! I was sooooo exhausted!!!! Our sink decided to break the other day too so we had to get that fixed. and I'm like can the house not break itself as we are trying to move out of it? Both my boys are Velcro babies too it can be frustrating but I mostly love it.
Absolutely stayed home on NYE with our 14 rescue fur babies.. ate way too much snacks and barely stayed awake to reach midnight, Minnesota time. Made a video about it.. Low key is best. I'm 50 so... yeah. I enjoyed this video, like always since I subscribed to you nearly two years ago. Have a positive 2025 and be blessed with your family. :)

Resolution is just making it through 2025 paradise one day at a time 😂I just started taking my Christmas decor down today I didn’t get my tree decorated until Dec 7th so less than month ugh so much work so little time to enjoy it but come Jan 1st it’s Valloween/Easter and patio furniture at Target 😂went today and seriously they have Reese’s hearts and Easter eggs out!! for New Years Eve i worked a 10 hour noc shift :D so i took care of my residents. For New years day and the first, I deep cleaned my bedroom and my bathroom, I washed all of my bedding and changed my bed sheets (to a different set), played World of Warcraft for 6 hours, worked a 10 hour shift, went grocery shopping, went clearance at bath and body works shopping, got coffee, went to the bank to get rent, took a 20 minute nap, and sang 'Forgot About Dre' to a lane of stalled traffic in the rain because they were there and honestly, where else were they goin??????
I was out like a light before the new year. I have an uneven hip so I’ve been icing some sore muscles. Luckily my chiropractor says I getting closer to be better… whoot whoot. Happy new year to everyone.
Does the desire for more kids ever go away? We’re trying for #5. Maybe this one will nip it in the bud? Happy New Year, Jade! With respect to your family size, that has to be your decision. And thank goodness you live in a state where it actually is! As you already know, pregnancy is hard on the body, and 2 kids are a lot of work and expense. Do you feel that your family is complete now? Or do would you need another child to feel it's the right size? I have a couple of resolutions, but I'm going to share one because I think it will amuse you. It's to brush my dog's teeth at least 4 times a week, every week. I actually started a couple of weeks ago. It's hard because he hates it, but I really need to do it.
I relate, being a home owner and having something break is the worst because you have to pay to fix it, unlike renting 😂 i took down my xmas stuff early too, some yrs are like that. One yr I kept it up till February 😂
Oh as a renter I can tell you it's no picnic. We have been dealing with chaos because the apartment complex we are in is replacing the roof, the siding, the windows, and the front doors on our building and I'm about to go insane. It's been noisy as hell, and they have been tramping in and out of here to work on stuff and I'm about to lose my mind. I will be so happy when this crap is done.

Some people have them taken down from the 26th Dec, but we do Little/Mini Christmas or Women’s Christmas on 6th Jan in Ireland, so rules are you leave them up til the 7th

We got some in November, which I also loved, but so so happy to have snow while the decorations are still up. One time we got great snow it was March. Christmas FM - an Irish radio station that only exists for a few weeks - even came back for a day so they played Christmas music in March 😂
I waddled for like a month after birth. It was like my body forgot how to just walk straight. Ps: I took down Christmas right away because I have an early January baby and I want to get in the habit so she doesn’t ever feel like her birthday is combined with the holiday. She deserves her own special day with special decorations not mixed with Christmas. Pss: my second was a Velcro baby and then the minute she learned to walk it was on and she refused to be held for longer than 5 seconds and it’s actually somehow more difficult than when she wanted to be held all the time.
Its worse when ur renting sometimes your landlord will take 6 years to fix a hole in ya bathroom floor, im so glad im not in a private rental anymore and thru an agent things get fixed way faster!!

We leave the tree up for the kids’ birthdays. Last b-day in mid Feb. lol. Most of my decor is wintery so it stays until March. 😂

Resolution is just making it through 2025 paradise one day at a time 😂I just started taking my Christmas decor down today I didn’t get my tree decorated until Dec 7th so less than month ugh so much work so little time to enjoy it but come Jan 1st it’s Valloween/Easter and patio furniture at Target 😂went today and seriously they have Reese’s hearts and Easter eggs out!! At this rate the pumpkins will be back by March!!! The boys are so adorable!! Stay in your cocoon ghoul this winter storm looks crazy ❄️

Hey Ghoul hey! i was with my parent's, sister and my aunt and her fam this for new years eve we made it to midnight but all felt like gremlins the next day! we always take Christmas deco down after the 6th of Jan as that is Orthodox Christmas! so usually the second weekend of Jan!
for New Years Eve i worked a 10 hour noc shift :D so i took care of my residents.
For New years day and the first, I deep cleaned my bedroom and my bathroom, I washed all of my bedding and changed my bed sheets (to a different set), played World of Warcraft for 6 hours, worked a 10 hour shift, went grocery shopping, went clearance at bath and body works shopping, got coffee, went to the bank to get rent, took a 20 minute nap, and sang 'Forgot About Dre' to a lane of stalled traffic in the rain because they were there and honestly, where else were they goin??????
You make me tired 😩
For nye we make chicken alfredo and had dinner as a family. Then we just watched TV until midnight. It was a very chill night.

Happy New Year, Jade! With respect to your family size, that has to be your decision. And thank goodness you live in a state where it actually is! As you already know, pregnancy is hard on the body, and 2 kids are a lot of work and expense. Do you feel that your family is complete now? Or do would you need another child to feel it's the right size?
I have a couple of resolutions, but I'm going to share one because I think it will amuse you. It's to brush my dog's teeth at least 4 times a week, every week. I actually started a couple of weeks ago. It's hard because he hates it, but I really need to do it.
I relate, being a home owner and having something break is the worst because you have to pay to fix it, unlike renting 😂 i took down my xmas stuff early too, some yrs are like that. One yr I kept it up till February 😂

Oh as a renter I can tell you it's no picnic. We have been dealing with chaos because the apartment complex we are in is replacing the roof, the siding, the windows, and the front doors on our building and I'm about to go insane. It's been noisy as hell, and they have been tramping in and out of here to work on stuff and I'm about to lose my mind. I will be so happy when this crap is done.

new years eve was my birthday! I'm 27 🎉. I live in Austin TX and I went to an NYE party at a bar called 'The Tiny Minotaur Tavern' it's a high fantasy, DnD themed bar. my husband surprised me with a 5 star hotel! we ordered room service, hung out in the hotel robe, it was perfect.
The hamster dance took me back!! loved you singing to him in the car! How cute ☺️ 😊😊
I’m from New Orleans and it’s really bad luck to leave Christmas up after twelfth night(January 6), I go pretty hard with the Mardi Gras decorations now that I have a little one and we live out of state
Some people have them taken down from the 26th Dec, but we do Little/Mini Christmas or Women’s Christmas on 6th Jan in Ireland, so rules are you leave them up til the 7th
@ that’s so neat, it sounds really interesting. New Orleans has so many tradition that are borrowed from interesting things. Twelfth night is the start of Mardi Gras season for us

Ireland has actually got snow during Christmas a very rare occurrence. We got some in November, which I also loved, but so so happy to have snow while the decorations are still up. One time we got great snow it was March. Christmas FM - an Irish radio station that only exists for a few weeks - even came back for a day so they played Christmas music in March 😂

I waddled for like a month after birth. It was like my body forgot how to just walk straight.
Ps: I took down Christmas right away because I have an early January baby and I want to get in the habit so she doesn’t ever feel like her birthday is combined with the holiday. She deserves her own special day with special decorations not mixed with Christmas.
Pss: my second was a Velcro baby and then the minute she learned to walk it was on and she refused to be held for longer than 5 seconds and it’s actually somehow more difficult than when she wanted to be held all the time.

Its worse when ur renting sometimes your landlord will take 6 years to fix a hole in ya bathroom floor, im so glad im not in a private rental anymore and thru an agent things get fixed way faster!!
