As someone coming from a 100” projector, I sure had to move my couch a lot closer, but I do love my LG CX 65” so much. Dolby Vision movies with Atmos soundtrack is perfection.
I just purchased this very same tv in the same size this Black Friday, I used to have a 4 years old Samsung UHD and don’t get me wrong it was still going very strong but since I had the money this year from saving up I decided to finally pull the trigger and purchase the C1 and I CAN NEVER GO BACK! Oled is king for me! It took a few adjustments like having to turn off the tv when not using (where as before I would just leave it on and still) to avoid burn in. But damn I’m absolutely impressed and I’m love! Definitely recommend it especially when you pair it with a Dolby atmos soundbar and a ps5 ✊🏼

Based on your review, I've decided to go with the 65" instead of the 55" and the C1 instead of the G1, I understand that the C1's you can purchase as of December 2021, offer a greater likelihood of having an EVO Panel instead of legacy C1 panels (according to FOMO AND HDTV) and since the A9 processor and menu options are the same on both the G1 and C1, I'm ready to opt for the current C1 over the G1 with a pretty good chance that the current LG C1 is truly comparable to the G1 for a lesser price so, thanks!
It's bullshit. They're only doing favours for LG to help them punt the older modules/stock. But of course there's no such thing as a free lunch - make of that what you will. It's typical of manufacturers to get rid of old inventory any way they can. And what panel will actually be in there is 100% lottery. If they're saying December 2021 - it likely means that all the old panels are going out from a certain assembly line with a December build date. If they're saying December in reality it probably means a guarantee for February. But might as well talk shit coz it's Christmas and Xmas is big sales time for any gullible mug. Why do you think they would actually want to help anyone except for themselves 🤷 🙄🤣

@Andres Vidoza this TV is insane. I'm upgrading from a x930d 65 bravia and I almost didn't see the difference until I started gaming. It's still not a HUGE difference but I'm enjoyin the hell out of this tv
I have the LG OLED C9 65 which has the same design and like 99% the same image quality as this one and watching anything there is pretty amazing! LG OLEDs are expensive but they’re worth every penny.

I have the 65“ C1 since a few Weeks and im impressed, best TV i ever owned. Came from a 2016 Panasonic DXW784 4k 60 HDMI 2.0

@@jollama in the US you can buy a warranty from Best Buy that covers burn in if it’s a big deal. No other major retailer offers that from what I know.

I love my C1 77'. Only complaint is that the bezels are larger than my old 55" B7, but I guess anyone picking up a C2 this year won't have that issue!
