I remember how my hint for the Gardevoirite was pretty vague. Verdanturf was related to Ralts cuz that's where Wally stayed to get better, and he has a Ralts :) So yes, not only has the world opened up, but you have the opportunity to catch a lot of Legendaries right now. And I think many more may be accessible after the League (I think).
