In 1989 I was rocking a Powell Peralta Steve Cabellero deck, Gullwing trucks, and orange Slimeball wheels. Gleaming the Cube was a skater’s Top Gun. Good times.
I been rockin 80s boards.. since the 80s. Currently on a Jeff Kendall Pumpkin reissue set up w indy's, powell p 85a and sc rails. Just shredded it today w my niece actually. I can't get w the popsicles, i tried.
Never skated before. Looked around a bit and this 80s shape and smooth wheels feeling got me good! Andrew make it look easy and fun. I'm lucky Santa Cruz sells their products in Egypt too. Picking up one soon, so excited!!
I skate a Landyachts ATV Ditch Life which is a pretty old school style board. Its funny that I recently looked at Santa Cruz youtube and have been addicted to you guys skating the reissues and I went to see what boards you have today and was thinking about getting this one. Then a video on that same day. Perfect timing!
Got this thing for getting quick through the City and it's awesome! Unfortunately got a pressure chip out of the box but i dont mind it's just for cruisin around
@@maxudo469 also it depends on your skate style. Its perfect for me doing some Ollie's here and there. The wheels are very soft so some tricks are impossible to do

If you have knee pain most of the time it is caused by tension in squat and calve muscles. The muscles squeeze bones together. Just stretch and lot and you be good.
I just got this board and i love highly recommend. Oh yeah loosen your wheels a little too ot helps tremendously and oil your bearings too these things are simple but very important to get the most out of your board.
Just bought some mini super juices to throw on my blood wizard 8.25. getting back into skating at 31 and initially went with ricta clouds 92a but that's still a little too bumpy for me on my road. Thought I was gonna be going harder than I am lmao I need that soft soft til I get comfortable on a board again
Hey, obviously I can't speak for the company and tell you why they don't put rails on, but these decks slide easier than most original 80s decks because of the concave. Most 80s deck shapes had very little concave, some were even flat. The flatter the deck, the more of it touches the surface it slides on, creating more friction. These decks have a more modern concave shape, meaning less of the deck touches the sliding surface, so there's less friction which gives them an easier slide!
@AndrewCannon - Dude this is sick! I love this setup. I ride 9inch Krux and Slimeballs. I asked you a while back to review them and you have delivered!!
I got one of these for my birthday it looks so good that I don't want to ride it I have another cruiser so I don't have to start riding it just yet luckily
@@Realswagoverlord yeah i know, i ve seen people comment about it as well. They suggest to loose the nut of the wheel a lil and put the speed cream or any bearing oil to make it better.

I kinda want to buy one to normally skate. I'd have to drill my own holes for a smaller wheelbase. I don't need anymore trucks. It'll be hard for me to give away the parts. Not many kids go for wide boards.
I don't think it makes sense to demo a cruiser board at a skate park. The whole point of this setup is smooth, quiet, stable, fast, efficient cruising. Taking this board to a skatepark just shows how inappropriate it is for this setting and fails to show off what it's great at, which is cruising. You can tell how super quiet and super fast these wheels are as soon as he pushes off and then he tries to do a grind and the soft grippy wheels fuck it up. Just cruise around the block dude. See some sights. Have a chill day of exploring, landyachtz style. That's what these are for.

Buying one. This video was so fun to watch. Looked like a real chore spinning 360 flips with such a heavy board.
