- This is a tutorial on how to build an automatic boss farm in pixelmon! A lot of people have had problems building this so I thought I would just do a straight up tutorial on how to do this! :) Hope this helped if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask :D
This is my singleplayer world download. If you want to take a look at the boss farm I built download this the cords to my boss farm are X=-675 and Z=537

Just made this on my world in a Jungle biome; chests are filling, caught two Mews, and just now caught a shiny Emolga! Keep up the great work! Couldn't have gotten all that if not for your tutorial. Definitely subbing, liking, and favoriting.

is the way pokemon spawn in jungle changed? i got a home in a jungle and they spawn on cobblestone and some spawn on grass blocks (without leaves)

This farm doesn't work for Pixelmon 3.0.4, if you want a tutorial on how to fix it i just uploaded a video on it :)

Hey does this farm work in 1.7.10? I don't need drops, only legendaries and bosses, so imy question is can I make this "spawner" and will legendaries spawn?
How did you get grass blocks that high? I have tried a grass stair case but that is taking far too long and my luck getting a silk touch is brutal...
hi so i tried to do this i my jungle biome and it isn't working i am getting no spawning in my boss farm i am in pixelmon 7 my name in game is Kaori_Night. i am open to suggestion to make it work correctly it is in multiplayer mode i do not know if that matters. we did so as high as possible and cute out leaves and trees around and under farm. and they keep spawning on cobble and on ground under farm. please i want this to work so let me know
Does this design still work with the 3.5.1 version? I tried it, but the pokemon still seem to spawn on grass.

can this work in different biomes. i am building mine in an extreme hills biome.
does this still work because i made one and it isn't spawning at all i am exactly 26 blocks away and my very top block is at 252 is that too high or what because this is really annoying me.
nothing is spawning for me, and I got the grass and leaves and its 220 blocks above the jungle, is it because I'm in 3.4.something?
How do you make it above water farms. Do you use oak leaves too

so technically you could do this in any biome but without leaves right?
Do you really need to get rid of the leaves on the ground or does it just increase spawning rates ?
I'm pretty sure it just increases spawning rates; you could just burn it though :p

What if this spawns flying pokemon do they fly away or are they dumb enough to die?
They only flying pokemon that go in there are venomoths and they'll eventually make there way to the lava :)

I downloaded the world and put it in my saves folder and logged on minecraft but i didnt see it

Is there an efficient way to gather gunpowder?
If u want to get rid of the leaves faster just get in the ore spawn mod and spawn in no sills in different area of the jungle so they could just destroy it

The Pokémons no longer drop their drops if they're not killed manually. Thus this farm no longer working in 3.3.8. Any fix please? Please upload it and tell us the link.
WingedDrakathEX its not meant to give you the drops the bosses are immune to lava and then they stack up then you kill them manually

This work nice on taiga hills. Like you said magemite can drop iron so it works as an iron/boss farm and articuno can spawn in it just like mew in the jungle biome.

That's so cool
so much mews spawning for you i need 30 days to get a legendary spawn in any biome! and in my singleplayer world i live in desert hills and close by there is savanna,ocean,deep ocean and beach! that means there could spawn a groudon,lugia,kyogre,suicune and raikou! but nothings spawning!!
He would of increased the spawn rate
if you hit escape, go to mod options, scroll to pixelmon mod, you can find boss spawn rates and increase it
I have a base in a Desert biome and I've had 3 bound Hoopa spawn and I have caught exactly NONE of them. SO FREAKING ANNOWING

You spent a lot of time on unessasary details. I re foment show in vthe finished product in the beginning of the video then explain why/how it works. Next show how to build it. It would also be a good bonus if you waited for an actual boss to spawn in the farm. (If you did, I didn't see it because you lost my attention after a couple minutes after the farm was built).
Other than that, everything else was fine, I learned a lot and will be using this myself :D

Why does it have to be on the exact height of 230? Can't it be lower for example on 200 so that you can make more platforms going up?
