Dan is adorable. “Beautiful wife! Beautiful wife!” to locate you and he doesn’t even know you’re filming. ❤
He has his moments 😄🥰
A beach tote is perfect for that lobster fabric! Did you notice the lobsters are sunning themselves on beach towels with maple leaves? 😉
Those ducks/geese were entirely too calm with you walking by. If they had been our Canadian geese you would have been thoroughly hissed at and chased. 🤣
Oooo, that Attic Spin Dye is my favourite colour of blue-green (verdigris). Lovely!
Ali I was laughing and shouting to you in my mind Geese Ali, they are Geese 😅. Lovely making week vlog. I love all your vlogs/podcasts it's like sitting and chatting with a friend. Thank you for all that you do. xxx
No matter what you film, I always love your vlogs. I must say that tunnel you went through freaked me out a little, but the “feathered friends” were so cute. 😊
Funny how we often set out with great intentions to do some crafting and suddenly the urge gets us to do something completely different! Glad it doesn’t just happen to me! Sure the bags will get sewn another day and you’ll use that gorgeous fabric. Your dinner out looked extremely delicious x
I really enjoyed your making week. With crafts and hobbies (like so much of life), the saying "life is what happens while you are busy making plans" is so so true! I have to have all my WIPs handy or I will forgot to give them some love. I am very much enjoying cross stitch at the moment. And, of course, I am completely indulging in my other hobby --- acquiring craft materials. Thanks for a lovely vlog!
Woohoo! Great to see David getting so much attention in your making week! It’s looking amazing 👏💚😊
Its lovely to see a making week that echo’s mine. So many of this style of video shows the seamingly infinite hours of time people have to give to their crafts.
Keeping my crafts out in plain sight makes it easier for me to snatch a few minutes at a time. It all adds up.
I’m loving all the Alice In Wonderland stuff!! I also am abit obsessed and I’ve got a whole tattooed arm sleeve of the traditional illustrations😄 Was hoping to bump into you during the Southern Wool show so I could say hello and show you but I’m going to the London tattoo convention to help out my friend😭 Maybe another show lol
Greylag geese and beautiful goslings. Excellent programme as usual. 😊
Oh! Greylag geese, thanks Marian! I can now recognise Canada geese but these looked different, smaller? xx
Oh yes I can appreciate it! Amazing yarns! Oh Dan is a gem!! Beautiful wife! The bags are going to be great!
Beautiful yarns you picked up at the post office!! So nice of Attic Spin Dye to send so many goodies. 🧶♥️🧶
I was just going to say our Canadian geese are vicious they would be hissing and attacking you lol.
😅 I’m glad these ones were willing to let me pass!
Lovely to see what you’ve been making lately, and i enjoyed the walk footage too. I'm working on a jumper and doing a bit of spinning at the moment. Cant wait to hear about your new chooks!
New subscriber here, loving your videos. Looking forward to catching up with more. Your walk past the geese made me laugh. I have some geese where I live and they are so funny, such characters but they can be a little protective of their babies, but I suppose we are the same lol. Have a great weekend 🌹
Another lovely making vlog Ali! Loving the bonkers Ikea fabric and ofcourse the cross stitch fabric too! What a lovely peaceful walk too and those baby goslings 🥰 gorgeous yarn! Ive not heard of attic spin yarns before. Loving the toadstools yarn, i have 2 of the TOFT mushroom patterns which would look awesome in that! Also loving all the Alice! I found a piece of slice fsbric ejilst unoacking and i immediately thought of you! ❤
Loved this, and thanks for the reminder about the make along, I had forgotten about it! It is my first time taking part, hopefully I'll be able to get a few made 🙂 And love the idea of using old school shirts for lining, my sons always end up torn so I can't donate them so this is perfect!
Yes, isn’t it wonderful having multiple crafts to bounce around with our moods! I just finished reorganizing my crafting area so I can set up my loom and get that going again as well. Love options! Enjoy your chickens 🐓. Off for our dog walk now. 🐶
Oh, Goody! An episode of “Drops!” (My heart jumps, as lovely “It’s a Sarah” says.)
I enjoy the “Life” videos, but the making blogs are my comfort zone. 💖
Had fun seeing the fabrics. I have a pink sushi print fabric for making my dodgy bag. I hope it will be a Japanese knot bag style. A quilting friend says I can use her sewing machine. 😋 Looking forward!
Aw! Thank you so much! So lovely to hear you enjoy the making week vlogs 🥰 A Japanese knot bag would be lovely, I may try one of those too!
What a beautiful walk! I think they are geese. ❤🇨🇦
Thank you! I’m so rubbish 🦆 😁
Nice cross stitch Ali. I have a TARDIS needle minder lol
What a wealth of glorious treasures you showed us! I loved sharing it all with you. 💜
Dodgy pins! ❤
Hi Ali, Really enjoyed seeing what making you got up to in a week and loved how it was totally true to real life and how plans always change! Your David Attenborough cross stitch is looking fabulous 💙
Oh, I just spent some money 😂ordered the book pouch and a needle minder for starting my new cross stitch. Great vlog, some beautiful fabrics in your collection. I am sure years ago I made the Cath kidston bag .
That’s exactly why you called it, Little Drops Of Wonderful Ali, because sometimes that’s all we can squeeze in😊 full of yarny goodness though 🧶 can’t wait to see the chickens, exciting! What is your PO Box ? I have never seen it in “more” section🤔 see you soon, Love & Hugs, Suze xxx🤗
The Alison wonderland Disney yarn, is out of this world, such gorgeous blue.
Beautiful yarns & materials, can't wait to see your dodgy bags hugs
This is real life and that’s why we love your vlogs so much. Sorting fabric is a wonderful thing to do. So excited about your chickens. Hope to see you soon - thank you x🐔
Thank you so much Jill :) Our chooks are now here, we’re so happy to have been able to rescue them xx
@@LittleDropsofWonderful Wonderful news x
Excited to meet the new girls. Love your fabric collection for bag making. Finished my Dodgy bag for the MAL and the swap. Going to be making another one soon. Thanks for all the lovely content.
I’m so glad I watched this. I was pulling fabric and other supplies to sort a donation to an art upcycle venue. There was a pair of green corduroy pants in the lot that I had used to make a Dopp kit for my son. I had put the remains in the bin but you reminded me that I intended to use them to make gift bags for Christmas. I have rescued them. Perhaps they can become dodgy bags in time.
As others have said, I’m glad for the spirit of this video. After a month of daily vlogs, I was feeling the letdown. Cheers.
I'm like you, multiple projects on the go so I can pick up whichever one matches my mood or how much I want to/can concentrate, a guaranteed treat rather than a chore :-) Lovely to see what you've been up to this week. I love these vlogs! And I can never tell the difference between geese and ducks either but those whatever they ares are so sweet! Cheers xo P.S. You have such a lovely husband and vice versa - you two are one of my favourite couples ❤
Thank you for another enjoyable video!! I just got done watching this as I worked on a pair of hand warmers for my hubby and sipped my afternoon tea, in Connecticut, USA!! Watching your videos on this channel and your other one, Wonderful Life, has inspired me to get out my yarn and fabric projects to resume production on them, but most of all, get out my sneakers/trainers to start taking much needed walks again!! Thank you, thank you!! I’m looking forward to meeting your new chicks!! How nice of Dan & you to rescue them!! 🐓 🐓😊
Hi Ali. The geese and goslings are beautiful. Love the yarn. Dodgy badges sound as if they go with dodgy bags!! Hope the new chickens are settling well into their new home. x
Geese with their goslings. And they are so gorgeous! Thank you for sharing it with us!
Thank you! 😃
Loved everything on this vlog Ali. All the materials, the beautiful colours of your yarns, the cross stitch, your meal looked nice too. Have a happy and productive week with whatever projects you choose to work on and hope to see you soon😀
They are Geese. Enjoyed your blog. Great walk think i would be shattered after walking that far 7 miles. Yarn is gorgeous.
Thank you Rosalind! I’m so bad at differentiating between ducks and geese 😂
I understand why you were talking about 2012. How many times have I looked back and thought, "If only I had....then." It might be a cell phone with a camera. It might be my Kindle, it might be so many things. I also think, when shopping for a baby gift, "if only we had that when my kids were babies." I get it. Love all of your making videos. Can't wait to see the dodgy bags.
Yes exactly this! I still remember breastfeeding Lillia in 2006 and now I think how much easier it would have been to stay awake if I had instagram or Pinterest 😅😅
All your lush yarn...sigh, so pretty. What was that blossom at 21.55 on the video, so pretty x
Ah how lovely, Dan calling you beautiful wife, bless.
He’s a good sort 🥰
I’m listening to Six Tudor Wives (Thankyou for the recommendation Ali) and am thoroughly enjoying Ann Boleyn at the moment. Thankyou also for a lovely week of making, I know just what you mean about doing what you enjoy when you enjoy it, that’s the joy of crafting! Xx
❤🎉loved every minute,,,,
Such sweet babies,,,,so fluffy,,, ❤️
Love the yarns,,
ELAINE 🏠💗
Enjoyed this so much!! Lovely yarn, fabric, & projects!!❤😊
I so love your videos ❤, ALL of them. You have inspired me to throw my fabrics out and sew some dodgy bags with you! 🛍
Yassss! Sew those dodgy bags! 😃😃😃
Can't wait to see the chickens.
Cool yarns and gifts and fabric and adorable fowl.
Thanks Karen! 😘
Lovely making week, Thanks!!!! ❤
Ali!! I started reading the six tudor queen series and I LOVE them! I just got done with Anne Boleyn and almost cried at the end! 😢
Ohmygosh! Aren’t they so good?? I’ve just started (today) book 5 (Katherine Howard) and I’m kind of dreading it as I know it’s so tragic. I think Ann Boleyn’s story was my favourite xx
@@LittleDropsofWonderful I used to live near Hampton Court and my family visited the castle each year! I have always loved the stories from the Tudor times and reading these books has brought to life a period of time that I fell in love with a long time ago! ❤️
Love all your new yarns! You should have another Alice in wonderland bag that I sent you last year, unless it's been gifted! You could have 3 Alice in wonderland projects at the same time lol!
Making is for joy and relaxation. so, its not the primary activity
Where was your meal out? It looks epic 🤤
At a restaurant called Chi - Asian inspired street food, SO good! 😋
wow would love to work with that ocean colour and the rusty
Ohhh the fabric. Beautiful.
Thank you! 😊 It was fun diving into the fabric stash :)
Geese!
Thank you! 😆
Loved looking through your fabrics and exciting parcels! I was thinking before you showed the pattern how lovely the toadstool yarn set would be for the wee mushroom pattern xx
Ah thank you so much Eva! It’s fun using up fabrics from stash, feels good :) Nothing I make will be anywhere near your standard though 😅😘
@@LittleDropsofWonderful awwww no don’t say that😭😭I have one of your bags and it’s beautiful🥰🥰
Delightful making week!
Thank you! Slightly unexpected but I’m so loving working on the cross stitch 😃🙃
I sent you a couple things over the last couple weeks on Instagram, definitely need to show Dan the one item! ;) Have you shared which university Lillia has decided on? BTW I think I spell her name different every time! lol
I have one of those and ca t figure it out. It was given to me but no instructions. Will google it.
Duck egg blue I think it's called
Yes!! That’s it 💙 xx
What's the yarn for, don't remember you mentioning on previous podcast.
It’s a secret project for my mum 🤫 I’m going to make her a granny wrap blanket 💜
I enjoyed your vlog, but I miss the content from your original channel where you actually talked about crafts. This was a great vlog but it’s exactly like the daily vlogs on your other channel. Looking forward to some actual crafting content. And yes, they are geese.
I make full length knitting and crochet podcasts every month on this channel as usual 🧶
I only know what Canada geese look like (for sure). They are especially nasty when their goslings are young. Beware!
That’s what confused me as these geese aren’t Canada geese (I don’t think 😅) I was a bit wary passing them but they seemed quite calm and let me pass without attacking 🙃😃
Sorry. Those are not Canada geese - they are only black and white. I was not sure if those in your video were geese. I'm used to Canada geese - they are every where now that spring has arrived here on the Canadian prairies. They are huge - i think they can weigh over 12kg. And you couldn't get that close to their young without being attacked.@LittleDropsofWonderful
Meant to say Alice in wonderland.
Hello Ali,
it's me, Anja from Cologne. Sadly we didn't meet us on EAYF.
I got a lovely parcle from someone and I remember that you start the swap.
I can't find an email in my account with any information about whom I send a parcel.
Do you have an email address which you share on your RUclips channel here, so that I can work this with you out?
Best wishes Anja
Hi Anja! Email me at littledropsofwonderful@gmail.com and I’ll help you sort it out. So sorry we didn’t see each other at EAYF ❤️
before I forget I dropped you a message about 3 weeks ago over on insta
