Carlos Alcaraz for me as a Fedal fan, is the hybrid embodiment of those 2 in all aspects of the game. Roger's FH power and court positioning, drop shot, exciting style of play. Rafa's resilience, mentality and amazing endurance, plus he seems to master both hard and clay with the same effectiveness. He will become better and better on grass too and he will master that surface as well very soon. He showed glimpses of that last years Wimbledon. At the same time, he is his own character and personality and has his own unique and attractive game. All these qualities and many others, make him THE player to watch at this moment. After Roger's retirement has left me very sad and with Rafa's eventual retirement not very far away, Carlos Alcaraz is already my favorite player to watch. Whether he can overcome Roger and Rafa's numbers remains to be seen. I still think that what Roger and Rafa did in tennis is not repeatable, but Carlos is the only one who has the potential of getting there at the moment. I find myself watching all of Alcaraz's games regardless of the hour when they are played, which is something I only experienced with Roger and Rafa.
As someone who is struggling to keep interest in tennis since Federer retired, this is the guy who keeps me watching. By far the most exciting player to watch on tour right now- imagine if mussetti can match his level of consistency and the rivalry they could have 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
you guys are not tennis fans at all.just federer fanboys. My favorite players are alcaraz, wawrinka and thiem(and federer but I just liked his tennis not himself or his braindead fanboys), but still I find so many other player exciting to watch and overall I just like tennis whether my favorites play or not.
Absolutely love that you’re doing these on the teenage phenom. He’ll be Number 1 again soon. He’s still working on parts of his evolving game and has somehow the opportunity to actually still improve! Watch out players…Carlos has only begun his reign since Sir Roger stepped down from the crown 👑
6:35 this shot is even crazier with context. Carlitos pulled a hamstring injury mid match and was playing through it. Somehow he got that running fh despite being injured
There are two forehand drives he hit in set 4 of his 2022 FO QF match against Zverev. Both inside in 93-97 mph forehand missiles hit with spin. One has to see them to believe the power and control on them. Incredibly fast and dipping quickly with spin. Unreal
Casper Ruud - #4 in the world, 24 years old and loses: "That's not a real upset." Carlos Alcaraz - #2 in the world, 19 years old and loses: "That's a big loss." That's how impressive he is already. I really hope injuries don't stop him.
He is just 19...now, how much better can he get? How much stronger and faster since he isn't at his prime yet? What will experience provide to his playing? Can't wait to see!
As long as he stays healthy, he has many slams to win. The combo of ferocious ground strokes and throwing in that dropper gives him a huge advantage. I don't think anyone is playing like he is.
And Alcaraz lost against Norrie because he was injured, because Alcaraz was teaching him the difference in level between the two, even Norrie himself knows this.
A player that has the cojones to make Rafael and Novak lose their footing is someone very special. Carlos is not disappointing anyone. Except for Rafa and Novak fans. 😮
How can a person help but admire Carlos' game. He is world #1. US Open and Wimbledon champion. But, I just am not a fan of the grunting; my own picky personal taste (I don't like it from Nadal, Djokovic either). I do not believe the grunt is helping/assisting/benefacting shots. Carlos (and the others) is sooo good, and will improve (a scary thought for the rest of men's tennis); he doesn't need the g......
Norris did not do the right thing lady. He hit effectively about a 75-80 mph FH that acted like a weak serve into the box direct into Carlos optimum hit zone. With norrie at his own FH corner all Carlos had to do is sit there and redirect down the line.
Love you put all these forehands from Rio final against Norrie. And love the fact that Nadal's mimical expression is no clickbait at all: 5:20

He himself, said. I am more like Roger then Nadal.
Hasn't mastered the serve 😎
Its a pity that he couldn't participate in AO. He could win it.
@@garrusvhave you seen his kick serve
👍He is the best! On the top!👍
He's scary. Not in a malevolent way. Just scary, and ferociously good.

So true

That shot is SO undervalued by today's Top 10 men's players. To me that's a big reason why Carlos and Daniil are the top players.
This dude going to be hard to beat on most surfaces. The dropshot is his strongest weapon imo.

norrie trying to get away it hahahaha. what a bad sport
Very not fait play from Norrie to not acknowledge this beauty

Moment it's a bit short the spinning forehand is coming down the line..
He's found holes in the game that nobody knew existed. That drop shot and down the line, make the best pros waver in the way they cover the court.
He takes it early like Fed and spins it like Raf.

Love the Carlos vids

Carlos Alcaraz 🎾💪🏆😘 é sensacional 🎾...te amo Carlitos ❤️
first word: biomechanics
second word: federer-like
He hit 115 mph forehand against Stefanos in french which is equivalent of 120 mph down the line. Massive forehand
quiet a site to watch a 18/19 year old bully seasoned opponents on the court. Slow hard courts this guy is unstoppable
G.O.A.T
*BOOM* 💥
L'enfant là est trop fort 💪🏿💪🏿
he rarely misses
Brutal indeed!
Amazing

I'm a Rafa fan but im a tennis fan first and in that regard one has to tip ones hat to Carlos. He is just too good now and will get even better.😊
@@z1az285 And i'm a Roger fan, but i love this prodigy. Carlos is an exceptional talent.
The scary part is these are only from the past 18 months or so.
Do you only consider ATP matches? I thought USO22 and USO21 especially against Tsitsipas he was striking huge down the lines.
I know recently it's been very difficult to get slam coverage without having copyright issues, otherwise he'd use it
@@thebigsquirrel50 Pretty much it. Using a last years GS footage is super dangerous in my experience
Alcaraz is very impressive. For the future I only wish little less grunting and finger behind the ear. But that's just me.
At 7:37 mn - > extraterrestre !
7:00 Norrie blind?
Carlos Amazing 😅😅😅😅 jaeni😅
Carlitos no.1 🎾 🏆
At 19 Rafa Roger and Nole weren't this good
El pobre Norrie sufre de horrendas cagaleras cada vez que intuye que le toca jugar contra Carlos.
Great👍
Norrie such a cheater 7:00
Yeah no way he thought that was out.
I tell you what...ol' Jarry does well against Alcaraz.

Raz ols is federer real fan
I m also federer
That English cat is way over the top. I thought they're sposta be measured in tone. Worst than lot of us Americans.😂
mike tyson
Love everything about his play, but the moan at every shot is so distracting. If I were his opponent, I would think someone yelled, Out.
Power thumping with a Sharapova type shout every time as well - of course the man is hot stuff, but sorry, can live without it.
first
He doesn't impress me much
I'm sure he's crying a river over your disapproval.
Teenage Rampage.
