Tech is definitely difficult to get into especially with the mass layoffs over the past 2+ years. But you'll get there. Sounds like you're doing a work and I'm sure itll pay off soon. Finding a job is easy, it might just not be the job you'd prefer. Adapt, overcome and generate income. Or be poor and cry about how sad you are and make a video about it.
I would assume for most people a "job you'd prefer" is the one that pays the bills. Ideally also allowing to have savings in case of accident. If something also goes towards retirement, it's perfect in every sense of the word.

Harder to find a better job. Trying to break into tech and polishing up my resume with labs and certifications.
