The Newer Fulton winch drum, have a no bump system for smoother cranking, check and see if you installed the strap correctly..........

Wish you would have showed taking the plastic cover off old winch. Looks like I gotta a complete rebuild to replace strap on mine. 😠

How do you lock the winch?
It just locks when when not cranking it
According to the instructions, you have to torque the black hand piece on the handle at least 20 ft pounds. My sleeve collapsed inside the black band piece . Not a happy camper

Can the Fulton XLT and F2 accommodate the winch strap coming off of the bottom of the winch, or would that not work with the anti-reverse switch thingy?

DUDE , you need a tripod for your Phone, so you can use two handle, I almost peeped in my Pants when you couldn't get the strap - bolt into the strap, and the winch handle kept toppling over , and the nut falling on the Floor... LOL
