@@friendship9904 well i think she always goes back to christopher bcs of rory and that emotional connection. She could finally get out of that trap and state of mind when they got married and eventually divorced. Then she was free from her christopher mindset
If u pause at 1:53, u get a clear shot of the fabled Santa burger. Luke must have had to take time and draw out the outline of the hat, had to rearrange the eyes so that they were symmetrical. He gave it a goddamn tomato smile, which he must have had to carefully place and replace over and over just to get it right. He put time and effort into that Santa burger, just to make Lorelai feel a little better. Honestly it melts my heart to think about 🥺❤️
Luke is never festive for holidays but he makes Lorelai a Santa burger cause she's feeling down. I always wondered how Lorelai was so oblivious to his feelings for her.
Because i would be no fun if they got together too soon. It is kinda unfortunate that more shows don't try to show romance within relationships but yea sadly all the fun for the viewers is will they won't they. But they do it really well.

She saved his dad's boat for him when he was an emotional wreck 4. She was always there for him when his girlfriends & wife went bad. And a BUNCH more
Why do I get this a conversation every dad has had with his wife about his daughter if you didn’t know them you would swear that was rory’s dad and that’s what I love about Luke he loved Rory because she came from the woman he loved 🥰🥰🥰

It's interesting how Rory had a similar panic attack in an emergency situation at Logans poker game later on and Logan was Luke in that moment (though he called his driver for her rather than have her frantically try to figure out how to get to stars hallow without a car).
I always wanted to stand in that diner. They have WB lot tours, but they won't let you go into some places. I've seen inside Sookie/Lorelei's house, Lane Kim's. I know some are just facades, but I don't think this diner is. Someday maybe, if they don't tear it all down, I would like to visit the WB backlot.
