USE A LEVEL 2 BLADE, IN LEVEL 1 IT DOES 12 DAMAGE THEN LEVEL 2 18 DAMAGE
I believe level 1 does the 12 damage in one frame, while with level 2, the 18 is spread over 3 frames, as 6 each. Therefore, if you're close enough and spam fast enough, level 1 will outdo level 2

Hate to be that guy but you're technically missing a boss, it's nothing really special anyways though, just a ballos clone, it's at the end of the boss rush unlocked if you found ALL of Zarrotsu's secret rooms...anyways,
I always wondered what Tristita was supposed to be, Like the doctor is dead, he overexerted himself and the Red Crystal, already damaged by balrog, broke into nothing, leaving no anchor for him to hang to life by so it can't be him, plus Trisita clearly holds anger towards Jenka only. So i'm left just thinking is it a malformed fusion of genesis and oblivion because the last action the doctor did before destroying himself was trying to summon them? or is it some evil that Jenka has a past with?
Either way i love this mod to death, and i hope Pixel knows of it's existence.
(although the Jenka's Nightmare fight was frustrating as fuck, and i literally had more trouble with them than the secret boss rush, damn.)
Well, the doctor said "I shall unleash them onto the island once more...!" And it looks like he actually did! But fused them into a bigger nightmare just like how you said.
Or it was all the energy from inside the crystal absorbed into a falling rock from the earthquake?
Or even Ballos’ rage and anger altogether?
I think theory #1 with G&O and #2 with the crystal are BOTH true in a way.
Yea, he did try to summon them but without an entity to possess they couldn’t come back…
So the energy burst released RED energy that manifested itself into a falling rock(from the earthquake)and created a body for Genesis and Oblivion.
See what I mean?
Edit: The energy burst being from the Crystal exploding
So Oblivion is part of him as his blue eye and damage techniques,
Genesis created more mass and other rocks orbiting him,
And the RED energy brought it to life!
RED energy also caused the final phase to be dripping with blood and red flowers, along with RED energy or whatsoever crusting his eyes
