For the Gantt charts, I recommend skinny washing tape. You can adjust as needed and it’s a super clean look.

Congrats on all your progress for Project Phoenix! That's awesome. I loved what you said about "I should stop worrying about using 'less' and just use what works!" Yes!! Less is not always better. Minimalism isn't for everyone. Thank you so much for validating this! :) Looking forward to the P&T kickoff call!

I'm still using my trusty old May Designs TN. It currently has 3 inserts--one journal, one extra notebook, and my de-covered Moleskine Weekly! I decided to take the hardcover off and put the notebook itself into my TN as an "insert." I love it! Apart from that, I have another TN I'm using as a wallet, which also houses a monthly planner for on-the-go planning. I also have a small spiral notebook I carry around for random notes and ideas. Finally, for writing, I have an A5 binder for holding notes about my WIP and writing in general.
I'd love to try a Stalogy at some point! I'd be ok with either size, but B6 sounds really cool. I could see myself using that as an EDC! However, I'm still on my no-buy for 2024, so I'm learning to be happy with what I have already! Good luck to everyone entering the giveaway! 💖💖💖💖

I love notebook challenge videos. Late January I went back to a book that has won every battle I've pitched at it, determined this time I'm finishing it. Picked out a Happy Planner notebook, black cover and floral design, for the plot/companion notebook and instantly thought "It's too pretty!" Thought of the nb challenges and started writing in it. It's making me happy! Thank you!

I love planner walk-throughs because they give me ideas. Also, for some reason these videos are very calming. You have so much going on but you are keeping your priorities straight. That's also very encouraging. I am just starting to get to use astology notebooks, but even though I am writing a lot I keep forgetting to track it in those notebooks. Some habits are hard to form. lol

Great work getting Project Phoenix organized on paper, so you'll know how you're actually making progress! I've been sick for the past 2.5 weeks and am still exhausted, so I'm doing very little, mostly just trying to keep up with my day job and "falling behind" in something I paid for but I realize I have to focus on getting better *first*.

Sarra, thank you for the notebook challenge series. This video inspired me to dust off one of my old FoxyFix TNs and blank notebooks I had in a box. I also printed out a few inserts from Etsy. I'm going to use them to track my projects, similar to how you're using the Poketo Project Planner. I have two planners already in my stack this year, but I still needed a system for breaking down projects and goals by day, etc. Your video got me thinking on how I can adapt my setup using some beautiful tools I already own. Thank you for the inspiration!

When I was going through my notebooks and planners to move them from a box to my bookcase, I found a 2018 planner that only had a few pages used - with pencil! So in the spirit of "progress not perfection" and decluttering, I'm writing over all the dates and using it for this year. Also trying to use up my notebooks before buying more or starting a new one. When I can, I put some masking tape on the side or front of the notebook with notes on the contents.

  • @Juntaine

I love seeing all the different kinds of notebooks and planners that you use. I've been using my B6 stalogy to collect notes from all the craft books I'm reading, and it's such a satisfying experience. So floppy and soft! I'm curious to see how the Gantt structure works for you. We use it at my day job and I still can't get the hang of it!

  • @elizabethw.9042
    @elizabethw.9042 5 месяцев назад

Go Sarra! You have the correct idea about Gantt charts. I would just use the paper Gantt chart as a rough draft. The electronic version in Asana for example will be a bit easier because you can move the time line around if your estimates of when you accomplish a task are off. You can link tasks to each other if completing one depends on another in the Gantt chart. However it's not really necessary. Do what makes you feel comfortable.
I'm currently in five notebook / planners myself. These are all from my stash. Trying to use up as many as I can this year so I can buy new ones!❤
I would like the B6 stalogy please.

I love your notebook/diverse read videos. Just an idea for the blank pages at the back of you DOVS notebook. Maybe save some pages in the very back, one for each year, to record how it’s selling and tape in a comment or review from that year. Then you’d have all your hard work followed by the impact of all your hard work. We all know it’s going be amazing. Can’t wait to read it and binge the Netflix series. This type of story is perfect for a Netflix series.

I’m the same way, I love mapping stuff out on paper before moving it into a digital format.

I’m always so impressed with your generosity. Sharing yourself but also giving gifts. I’d be happy with either notebook since I’m just starting on my journal journey.
    So happy I found you

I’ve not used a Stalogy yet. I set up an Erin Condren Project Planner during the kick-off call yesterday. 🎉

You make those Frankenplanner notebooks yourself with printouts, coils, and cover?? That's so cool! Love the nonfiction ideas one.
