Just bought a pair of these and I have to say they are excellent ! Possible even better than the Technics 1210s !
Had mine 5 months now and they are very good...exceptional .
How dare you!!
What kind of needles are good for this turntable?
Ortofon Concorde would be my choice
5 month is nothing xD Let's see if you still going to have them 25 years later
Good Job Mr Joey!
Thanks!
I just ordered a RP-7000 Mk2 just for home HiFi. Impressed with the looks and solid build, and it seems like a MUCH better deal over a similar spec Tech/Pioneer
Awesome, it's a great turntable
@@digitaldjtips I just picked up a lightly used Ortofon 2M Blue Cartridge. Table arrives tomorrow. Can't wait to try it out. Going to test the built-in pre vs a Creek external I have kicking around. Any recos on a good external pre?
No we don't I'm afraid
Awesome video thank you! Can you please clarify if the bottom part of the turn table is it plastic with rubber insulated inside or is it just rubber like the Technics 1200? Thanks.
The body of the turntable is metal.
William Carlos Morales the bottom part is plastic and rubber.weighs more than 1200's.
How are the preamps and other electronic components of the TT doing? Is the pitch fader precise like the one from sl1200? Concidering that almost all of the dj turntables nowdays come frome one factory(Hanpin) what makes it different from the others exept casing and different features put out for the user? I am seriously concidering buying them but i saw they have a lot issues with wobbly plater, toneram bearings problems and overal cheap chinese build(in.eg. Pioneer plx1000's resonance issues - yes it's also made by the same company). Help me decide as for now a pair of used sl1200 mk5's is a reasonable choice in my opinion.
We rated it highly 4 out of 5 stars but it'd be interesting to hear from longer term users to help you make a decision, hopefully someone pops up :)
If I was to use these with a Traktor S4 would I use them in line mode and not phono... this would be fine with DVS and actual Vinyl... or would they need to be in Phono mode with the earth wire fixed... and would DVS work this way....
Is this good enough to be used for as audiophile listening and part of a Hi-fi setup?
Yes.
These turntables are very good I honestly think there better than 1200’s
My opinion
Cool, thanks for the feedback Rocky :)
aside Technics, that I'd have to buy used (and who knows how much care put on them prior owners?) ..one spec is a bit 'ringing' comparing Reloop 7000mk2 vs Pioneet plx1000 ..S/N (Signal to Noise): Reloop 50 vs Pioneer 70 ..that one is not secondary..
It looks like the entire platter is wobbling in this video. Is that normal for this deck?
It's not something we noticed having much of an effect, I'd have a check around forums though for more info from people who have used them longer :)
yes, it is wobbling; I bought two of them to chek for an alternative to the SL-1210: both platters floating up and down; wow figures reach more than 3% - the stated 0.1% is theoretical; for scratching perhaps is good, but if you try to play a piano record you can clearly hear that the sound goes up and down; all chinese turntables I tested (more than 20!) show this problem, but nobody seems to hear it; in the Seventies such a turntable would have been considered a joke;
It looks like the entire platter is warped.
I don’t want my platter to wobble ... my audio technica wobbles
I tried these pickups and faced grounding problem. My goal was not to be a DJ. was just listening to music. If it wasn't for that problem, I think it was a pretty good turntable.
Very nice! #homerun
🙌
#1350 #1500 Gold in the house
Ive had 2 sets of technics over the years..and i must say these are well better.
Pretty cool to hear that :)
Agreed !
What about the sound quality? Is this comparable to the technics 1200?
Any chance of an rp4000mk2 review? Spec wise they beat tue technics and come bundled with ortofon needles. Great for the price of £250 each.
I wouldn't buy it. It looks like a copy of the plx 500 and AT-LP 120. While they're alright, they aren't perfect and the torque comes nowhere close to technics. Mixing is also a bit of a bitch if you're looking to touch the platter. PLX-500 and AT-LP 120 are notorious for issues with the motors.
@@lol69_52 Reloop is german product good quality and torq rp 7000 is superior of technics. www.reloop.com/about-us
Sent mine back for exchange. Motor makes a noise, even worse when holding a vinyl. And the pitch is way out for 'Quartz' turntable. 🙄
does this turntable come with a cartridge?
No, it doesn't
Is it any good for a home use?
Yes, why not...
@@digitaldjtips I mean, why have they made TURN5 model then? It has less futures and much more expensive. Must it be better in some ways ???
Maybe it is, but this would also be fine for playing records at home. Give them both a listen and decide! :)
Hello Guys! Im planning to buy turntables. Old Technics S1210mk2 or Reloop RP-7000 (mk2). Actually i would buy the new Reloop watching videos and reviews. I believe thats a good turntable.
Only one thing people dont speak too much. The wow and flutter. Technics has 0,025% WRMS and a the Reloops has an even better value 0,01% WRMS.
Some people say do not believe for that value of Reloop.
So im curious to you experience which turntable KEEPS better the beatmatched tempo? Which has a lower wow&flutter?
Thanks in advance.
They are both so low as to be not an issue.
Do they come in black ?
Hey Irving, yep!
Irving Madison yep.got mine.375 pounds a piece.good dam good for the money.
In Gold!
I've been looking for a turntable that can be adjusted to play oddball speeds. Besides the 3 usual speeds, what is the lowest speed this can go, and what is the highest speed can this go?
+/-50%
Getting myself a pair this month you got torque, brake speed, reverse more pitch ranges what has technics got nothing lol
Enjoy!
you will love them.. theyr amazin👍
so basically Reloop increased the torque compared to the original rp-7000, and that's all that they changed?
There's also an adjustable tonearm base :)
also some bits of the design and a new target light
The original had an adjustable base too, they updated it on the mk2, the adjuster ring has changed, plus higher resolution pitch fader 0.02 increments, wow & flutter at 0.01% is lower than all other hanpin models of 0.1% which is inline with technics 1210’s if true, also they mention different internal dampening
Why you say specially for beguinners and intermediate DJs (min 3:07) ?? Why not for proffesional?
On they day Joey probably felt this is who this was best suited for (with professionals looking elsewhere), I'm sure it could do a job for a professional as well
They are not better like technics, they are just NEW and thats why the pitch control, the direct drive and the electronics are not so worn out like a 25 years old technics'
If you have a less used technics, its still faaar ahead of a reloop. LOL no comparison....
Technics are perfection. Some people won't believe it but what do they know? There is a reason why TECHNICS is used for professional turntablism/audio usage thorought the whole world and not Reloop nor anything else :P
Lenin On Acid To be fair Technics t-tables were never catered towards djs. DJ’s just happened to market them. It is the djs that have made Technics the brand name. Did Technics build them to be the most reliable t-table ever...that’s debatable.
With all this down talking, I hope you bought one and tested it out before talking jibbarish.
@Daniel Spaniel my MK3D, 1210's were the bollocks pal. And, these Reloops have a lot to live up to.
@@tecnine1984 I owned a pair of Reloop RP 7000MK2s. Good at first, but over time the wow & flutter specs degraded to a point that long blends were next to impossible. This may be good for turntablists, but for House and Techno DJs, not so much.
I heard they made in Germany it have to be good n it made out of metal n is for truntablelist too I'm going to buy one first n check it out I see DJ Q Bert using them n I know Germany made good eguiment I told they were made in China oh Japan is not the same anymore like the 70s 80s that Japan made good eguiment n boombox radio now they are collectable but then China made cheap stuff n Japan don't made all the good stuff back then I read about this reloop 700 mk 2 it said is made in Germany so I'm going to buy one to check it out cus if DJ Q bert is using them that mean they good n made out of metal that not bad all turntable now are made of a hard plastic like the pioneer 1000 but they feel great just like the technic n I got them too Germany made the first tape deck name revox 225 in 1985 it cost me 3,800 back in 85 no belts drive straight motor I still got it n still work like a champ n you don't need no equilizer at all the tape deck sound fresh n clean that was a lot of money back then but it was worth it 2021 still work never had problem Whit it for the price damn you can't go wrong I got my Technics mk 5 n my mk 2 plus my pioneer 1000 n my vestax 2000 mk 2 n 4 more vestax from the 90 made in Japan the pdx battle style different color but this reloop is calling me I want to buy the technic mk 7 but they made out of plastic too not the wheel of steal the technic GR if I put the foot of the 1200 it will work as a DJ turntable but is about 10,000 dallor that to much money for a truntable but they look beautiful n made out of the wheel of steal like the mk 2 matal n hard rubber
Made in China, designed in Germany
Made in Taiwan, designed in Germany
Platter's warped.
I think they’re underrating these turntables somewhatb in this review. Check out the incredibly thorough review of the decks at DJ City by Mo Jaxx. He nails it here: m.ruclips.net/video/OJBfxoLWl8Q/видео.html
i guess im asking randomly but does anyone know a method to get back into an Instagram account..?
I stupidly forgot the password. I love any tips you can offer me
The rp7000 was ehhh
We'd say if you can, go for the 8000s :)
Digital DJ Tips I have 2 Stanton str8 and 2 numark tt250(crap) I’m looking for a ttx I can beat on(mobile dj) I was thinking of the 8000 or this new 7000
@@Dj_rueboi The 45 button on my Stanton str8 150 went out.. So weird. Gonna see if i can repair it.
Good luck, let us know how you get on!
Reloop and Audio Technica just copied the model of Technics. :-) even the name.
This is not a review, this funny voice works for industry who is selling these cheap crap

Why are you emphasising your words so much. Just speak as you normally would, it ruins and distracts from your video listening to you pause after every other word or emphasis three or four words out of a sentence. Not hating, just pointing out.. Play your video back to see what I am saying, Im sure you will agree.
