We have not used a Hip camp yet but it’s on the radar for places to stay. I look at the price honestly. Some people are nuts what they ask for a night with no amenities. If they have electricity and water, I tap out at 40-50 a night. It’s just not worth anymore than that.

Ya, I agree with you on hipcamps often being too expensive for what they offer. It’s weird to me how some RVers are comfortable with just spending money on a place to stay with minimal amenities for the dollar spent. If I want zero amenities and an average view I’ll go to Walmart or cracker barrel 😂 thanks for commenting and watching!

@@largemarge1603 we didn’t see gators at this spring but Silver Spring and Alexandra Spring we saw a half dozen or so at each of those locations
My dad retired to micanopy FL outskirts , which is part of Ocala. The most expensive race horses in the world come right from micanopy/ Ocala FL

it's the axillary alternator that charges my lithium battery's, I just ordered a APM its like a surge protector for your alternator I guess what happens is when the battery's are full the regulator shuts power to battery's but the alternator is still making amps which means heat and burning out the alternator the AMP will take the amps and run it to ground I talked with a company out west I did not know that I will post a vid when I install it fingers crossed

The road will definitely give you the opportunity to make some amazing friends! It’s cool to have an immediate bond with people over the love for travel. I don’t know if an ABS specific back order but I’ve had challenges getting other ram parts due to back orders. A replacement driveshaft as one example and a wheel hub was the other item on back order forevvvvvvvver

ABS module was ordered mid oct, dealer called me two weeks ago said now eta is maybe end of june, basically beyond ridiculous. Its sorta of drivable if you can put up with it dinging every 30 seconds n blocking the display speed with its warning message n of course have no cruise control cause the defect knocks that out. And they said no way to turn off the dinging....it totally screwed up my plans of going to usa for winter for first time...😐, this is the first part I've had to get for it, not a good start! A 2018 and it only has 35,000KM! 😬.
@@SpykersB isn’t there an aftermarket version you could use until the back ordered one shows up from ram?
@@thecumminscamper i have no idea if that exists. But at labour charge $500 to install, n $900 + tax too, parts (abs n control module, only abs is back order). I wouldnt want part to be just temporary.
