This is just my complete guess, but I'm assuming 4 to the floor has to do with the hard hitting downbeats that set the pace. Each measure of music in most songs has 4 beats and each beat here is accompanied by that hit. You can count along with the motion that Joey makes at 8:58 "1-2-3-4" and that makes a measure. That just keeps repeating to set the tempo. Again I don't know all too much about music and I'm not sure how much this helps but I tried lol
