Aquitaine likely would have won that battle by the way. They're feudal so a lot of heavy infantry, where the Norse only have light infantry so even outnumbered they would have wiped them which is why they were attacking. All you really had to do was get rid of the mercs, and let Aquitaine and Germany beat them in Norway and you could have enforced demands.
@@corvus1374 I understand, but I mean, should it be likely for the Saxons to beat Charlemagne? Honestly in my mind it just made fighting tribes unbearable. I could see a limited reintroduction so it couldn't be abused so badly.
I really like this, I've never been this early for a video
Glad you like it. :)
Hail the King
:)
Time to continue a certain tradition from a certain starfish who watched Iroh, Dragon of the West: Yay!
:D
Sean McManus no it’s Alpax,it’s Eroh,Dragon of the West
It's hard to keep up with the game speed that you play on. Months pass by in seconds. That earth must be spinning close to the speed of light.

Yeah, Maybe. :)
I HATE that there are no tribal armies any more.
I felt like it was WAY overpowered, I don't mind it being taken out
@@jameswelsh1019 It pretty much makes it impossible for the Saxons to defeat Charlemagne.

@@jameswelsh1019 If you can't beat Charlemagne, then there's no point in playing as Saxony.
