I tell all my friends, you have got to watch her b/c I swear this is exactly how I would do my own channel, and if I ever have a daughter her name is going to be Aria too. Were SO similar its kinda scary. But that's why I love Miss Kathleen!
I know this is a very overdue comment... these "pressure points", as you refer to them, are places where veins or arteries are closest to our skin. They are more like pulse points, not pressure. Yes, those points run a bit warmer than the rest of our skin, and yes, it will in turn warm up the fragrance, BUT the scent will not last longer there. Because the molecules are warmed up by the skin, they will dissipate faster.(remember from chemistry - the higher the temp, the faster the molecules agitate, the faster the water evaporates. Same principle applies to fragrances) The reason to spray behind the knees, which i agree is an excellent idea, is so that as the fragrance is warmed and molecules leave your skin, they will rise (as heat rises and cold sinks), and you will smell the perfume. However, if you find a certain scent does not last on your skin very long, do not spray it on the pulse points. Spray elsewhere and more on your hair and clothing. Scents last longest on fabric, less on hair, and the least amount of time on skin. True fact, I blind bought Gucci by Gucci after I watched another one of your videos, prob an earlier one than this one. Love it, so thank you for that!!!!
Fun fact; people often reapply more perfume or think it's still not on because when the scent remains the same for a long period of time your brain dismisses it because it's not changing and your brain needs to focus on other things, not something that remains the same. I just thought that was cool and fun to share :3
I do hate though when perfumes wear off sooo quickly. My favorite perfume is Michael Kors Glam Jasmine, SO GOOD

Yes, of course...we develop nose blindness when we wear our perfumes everyday.
French women recognise this and give themselves a break from wearing perfume for a couple of days. The perfume they wear is expensive and they want to appreciate it, so having a break from wearing scent helps to keep their appreciation and not have nose blindness. We do well to follow in their example.

I just bought flower bomb yesterday and it's become my favorite!! I actually have owned Viva La Juicy for a long time and love it!! It's a strong scent and a very "hard to miss" scent lol but it's amaze balls!!! Lol

Girl. This might sound crazy but "Fancy" by Jessica Simpson is actually amazing. First smelled it on a random girl in a theatre, and I was so obsessed that I went full out creeper and stalked her after the play to ask her what perfume she was wearing haha Top Notes: Pear, Apricot Nectar, and Red Fruit. Middle Notes: Gardenia, Jasmine, and Toasted Almonds. Base Notes: Sandalwood, Vanilla Creme, and Amber Crystals. So inexpensive yet so good!! Xo

OMG! I have the same thing about buying a full size of perfume...and when you do the math, it is really hard to justify buying a smaller size. Often, when you buy a 3.4 oz you get double the product for much less than double the price. Plus, I love fragrances and I tend to go through fragrances relatively fast, especially when I really like the smell! Love your collection!
I reallyy love this video. I like how you gave the notes on each perfume and even listed the notes in the description box. You went in to detail with every perfume. It was very helpful and informative because, i don't know about you, but i get soo overwhelmed when shopping for a perfume

I am the same way! Sometimes I go by the color of my clothes, too. Does that sound weird? Spicier scents with earth toned and burnt orangey colors? It just an intuitive thing for me, I can't explain it. I am just not really great at describing scents. I wonder how one is to become better at that? lol

A lot of you tubers are not the best at describing perfumes but I love how you told us the notes of each one. We love a lot of the same perfumes. I love fruity scents! I'm not really a big perfume fan because it tends to give me headaches, but I had to watch this anyway b/c I just LOVE your videos! I usually only wear perfume on special occasions, but my go-to's are Angel by Thierry Mugler, Katy Perry's Purr and Emporio Armani She. If you like fruity scents with a hint of vanilla, you should check out Angel, it's not floral at all which is why it's one of my faves!
I thought I was the only one who gets headaches from most perfumes! It's sooo sad because I absolutely love perfumes. :( I've found that fresh fragrances (like Happy by Clinique) don't bother me though!

I wear Si EVERYDAY. Definitely my signature scent. The best way for me to describe it is kinda like a powder floral. Very feminine, but highly mature. I adore it.

I purchased Jimmy Choo EDP because of this video and I've really been enjoying it, especially with the colder weather of late where I live. I find it kind of similar to Flowerbomb :)

I'm the kinda person that likes to have a signature scent but in a way that I like to have one for the day and one for the night. The one I like to wear during the day and preferably in spring and summer is Oh Lola by Marc Jacobs and my favourite night/colder season fragrance is Midnight Rain by La Prairie (also, the bottle is one of my favourite things in the world!!!!).
on another note, please don't feel bad about showing what you have!! you're always so genuine and you deserve all the happiness in the world, and if perfumes are something you're passionate about there's no need to be ashamed to show it!

Now for the perfume. My most go to perfumes are ALL of the JLO collection because her scents work beautifully with my skin. I just bought her Perfume called GLOWING and the bottle lights up when you spray it...I love it. Since you like the bottles I thought u might like that one. I just knew you were going to bust out the Miami Flow..lol just knew it and of course I love that one and also only where it in the summer because it reminds me of a tanning scent or something...this is long I am sorry..lol

Have you ever tried Givenchey Very Irresistible? Has floral notes but also vanilla and patchouli. For me it lasts forever and smells even better on the skin than in the bottle. Love Pink Sugar too. Good video!

I recently got that one... (Knew I was forgetting one in my list in my comments...) It surprised me that I liked it. I honestly got it for the name. My husband was Army EOD and was an instructor at the civilian bomb squad school here in Alabama. Most people call me Michelle. He called me his Bombshell. So anything with "bomb" I tend to want to get for that reason.

I lovvvvveeeee Flowerbomb. I don't usually like floral scents, and I don't think I would consider Flowerbomb to be that floral. It's so long lasting and intoxicating...I would consider it kind of vanilla sweet with a hint of floral to it.

I love you Kathleen!!! You made me wanna go out and buy some more perfumes lol. My fave is M by Mariah Carey. Mariah is my favorite person of all time but besides that, the bottle is beautiful and it smells like marshmallows in the best way.
I've been using Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb for years, that's my signature. I got Bonbon as a gift not too long ago and I love it! But nothing can replace Flowerbomb! I'm going to try Chanel or Gucci now ;)
In terms of of long-wearing perfumes, my experience is that the Tom Ford perfumes last the longent! Literally two days, even if you shower. I have the sent Café Rose, it's a sweet floral and I think you'd really like it 💕

You're soo pretty! And your room! So goals and nice collection. I have Flower Bomb too and it's just hands down the best. That's my signature scent but I collect others too. I also have Marc Jacobs Daisy as my signature scent.
When I was dating my husband, I wore Bluegrass perfume. Forty-three years LATER I still wear it and he still loves it! I wish they made all perfumes this long ! Hard to say goodbye to a special scent. Thanks, Kathleen, lovely presentation. Will go try something new!
Hey Kathleen! I just learned this myself... but usually Eau de Parfums last a lot longer than Eau de Toilettes. This is because Eau de Parfums are oil based so they stay on the skin longer. So, if you are looking for a long lasting perfume, always go for Eau de Parfums.

My signature and most beloved perfume is Lady GaGa's Fame. I've worn it since I bought it when it was launched in Stockholm (Sweden) in August 2012. Since I'm such a huge Lady GaGa fan I descided that I would buy it even if it was horrible, but it was fantastic! She realesed a new perfume a while ago and I don't know why I haven't bought it yet? I think I will look it up right now. You're the best Kathleen!!

I have a story about Chanel Mademoiselle! I had gone salsa dancing one Friday night and wore it. Now you know if you salsa dance you will sweat! The next morning i woke up and realize i needed to cook breakfast and i ran to the grocery store just put my hair in a bun and out the door. While at the store I was approach by a young country man (i live in Texas) He said to me "Excuse me mam but I just want to say you smell so good!" I was like thanks. Next thing you he brings his girlfriend and tells her to smell me!! He's like I'm gonna buy you that perfume this little lady is wearing so you can smell as good as her! Needless to say the girlfriend and I just smiled at each other! That is one I'll always have in my collection!
No thumbsing down! From one talkative sister to another, I loved it! My favorite scents of the moment are Armani Mania, Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely, and Victoria's Secret Heavenly. I think Heavenly has been one of my favorites for the longest. Have you smelled it KathleenLights ? It's ahhhhmazing! SJP Lovely is always discounted at places like Ross, so that's nice. Armani Mania is one of those spicier scents that I like wearing in the fall and winter, and at night mostly. I kinda wanna make a video about my collection now....

That's weird cause I LOVE the JB perfurms not only cause I'm a JB fan but its smells so good and it stays on me like Forever especially the key I love that one and my other favorite perfurms are bath and body works! 😍😍

elizabeth and james nirvana white/black.. the white smells amazing by itself, the black is ok on its own. BUT TOGETHER - FIREWORKS seriously. spray them together, and be transported to fragrance heaven.
I have a medium sized perfume collection... My favorite daily scent is Marc Jacobs Daisy (the original). I wear it to work all the time. Versace Pink Crystal is a close second. In spring and summer I also love DKNY Fresh Blossom and Coach Poppy Flower. My favorite evening scents are Versace Yellow Diamond followed by Burberry Brit.

Paris Hilton's Can Can perfume is my absolute FAVORITE! It smells so sweet! It's definitely my signature perfume. I get SOOOO many compliments when I wear it. We have the same taste in perfume so I HIGHLY recommend you try it! :D

I love Burberry Brit Red, Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream, Vikor and Rolf Flower Bomb Extreme, Roberto Cavalli Serpentine, Guerlain Little Black Dress is also my go to scent. I swing, from perfume to perfume, I don't like to just have one but I have a few I love to spray. How could I forget Carollina Herrera 212 sexy and CH and Salvatore Ferragamo Incanto Shine and Bulgari Blu!!

Kathleen, absolutely loved this video - def not too long. You did a wonderful job not only describing the notes of the perfumes (something I wish more YTs did) but also how it wears and makes you feel. I LOVE PERFUME and like you, could never stick to one; there are too many out there to try! One of my all time favourites is Balmain de Balmain for women by Pierre Balmain (very earthy, beautiful for winter). I also love Gold Sugar by Aquolina (not as sweet as Pink Sugar). Please do some more perfume reviews when you have time - always great to find more right !!
