I watch the F1 soap opera and wonder if there isn't a general bias by the sport to blatantly keep certain teams in the spotlight. Sure there needs to be rules, but I think particular drivers are overly sensitive and certain teams get more rapid attention either favorably or not. If the FIA isn't going to let drivers drive then why have them? Fernando being penalized for doing a corner more slowly was dumb. Lando's brain lapse hints at the above stated bias. It's obvious Organizations, teams, drivers, principals and the like are nothing more than prim donnas and the question is like I said, " Are we running a motorsport or daycare for the groomed and overprivileged. "
Most racing games already contain the solution, including the official F1 games. When you accumulate enough penalties you get black flagged. Set the limit at 20-25 seconds
What about taking 3 cars out for only 10 seconds thats why Hami so mild about Magnusen. He could not afford coment about it. causing a collision, you will restart behind your victem would be a good new rule.
stella isn't a driver and should mind his business. defensive driving lines are totally legal. learn to drive, learn to race. its all part of that. drive throughs are the answer. immediate and effective.
how many time world champion being blocked by a driver.....and there is concern of recklessness? 7 time world champion driver I don't think there is any real risk at an incident. sounds more like "let toto win or he'll cry". don't let Andretti/Cadillac in, it risks toto's investment in mercedes because, lord forbid europe get a better luxury car brand. even if it IS only Cadillac, the value for the dollar is far better. I've seen the mercedes maintenance issues. I'd rather a car that i can get parts for and do it myself.
Bring back drive threw and stop and go penalties. That has always worked well. Then, the penalty is served. Even if it is 2/3 laps from the end.

2008 Him driving in to Massa so many times was not a problem at the time.
How come Fernando got penalized 20sec and 3 pts for slowing earlier in a corner whereas Big Mag can drive like a berserker w/o points?
The problem lies with the owners of F1...exploiting sportsmen!
