In the 1930s, Sydney Cricket Ground Trustees led by former Australian Captain M.A. ‘Monty’ Noble proposed a redevelopment of the SCG which would have resulted in the demolition of the iconic (now heritage listed) Members Pavilion and Ladies Pavilion.
