Thanks for watching Louisa, if you are going to the Glowworm Cave National Parks recently upgraded the path through the cave with inclides handrails and a nice level floor. At first you might not see anything, just give your eyes time to adapt to the dark and wait for thr magic to happen. Hope you have a wonderful time. Cheers Phil

This film is definitely stuck in my mind. I often think about it because it gave me a thought when I originally watched it, of tiny eyes looking up at the night sky and deciding to try and reflect what could be seen when stargazing. The glowworms certainly nocked it out of the park, as did you, with this film.

I think we spent around 3 hours inside the dark wet tunnel in pitch blackness shooting 90 second exposures by trial and error. You cant see a thing, you point the camera where you think the Glow worms are take a shot then examine the results, then adjust, take a shot, repeat, repeat, repeat.

Thank you for the kind feedback Anthony. The Glowworm tunnel is well worth the trip. Apart from the glowworms themselves we particularly loved emerging from the other end of the tunnel into a beautiful lost world filled with tree ferns. All the very best mate and thanks again. Phil

Into the Wild Films , thanks for the reply, I’ve been there 2-3 times. I’m around Penrith so not too far for me. I love how you’ve done the videography, takes it to a whole new level 👍

I have driven through Lithgow more times than I care to mention! had I known that such beauty was to be found, I would surely have stopped and investigated and let my own eyes experience the intrinsic and undeniable beauty you have captured, stunning calming visuals, I just never wanted it to end.....sigh...thank you for showing me something I had no idea of....

HI Miss Melly Vee, thank you for your support and kind words as always. The glowworm tunnel is an amazing spot, takes a bit to get there, if a recall rightly about 20kms on pretty corrugated unsealed road . We went very early and had the whole tunnel to ourselves, when you get to the middle of the tunnel and look up its like looking at the Milky Way. Take care and thanks for watching, I hope to release one film per month now going forward :)

I must be outside, because I can see the stars
I will fly upward, towards the stars
Oh bother, I seem to be stuck
