I will never understand how this guys eats food when it's sooo hot!
Me too! I can eat so hot food without any problem
me too. people burn their finger/hand while cooking and I burn my tongue... :v
Maha Mansoor that is my problem. I just like my food really hot and for that reason I eat far to fast 😁
Exactly
Hahahauuaua he is amazing)) food monster
Is it weird that I'm proud of you? On your earlier Italian recipes you took so much heat from angry Italians, but never stopped and look at this comment section now, nothing but compliments!
This dish looks amazing, I love your take on cooking, you make it look so easy, I'm definitely making this one today. The tip for the sauce is amazing, I had been looking for an easy way to make my sauce taste fancier.
You have a very weird way of thinking: if italians, who are the ones who can say if the recipe is correct or not..., says that like in this specific case it's wrong why arguing about it??? Then you come here on vacation and the typical line is " wow, this is delicious, what have I been eating so far?". That is exactly what!!!
Captain america before getting pumped with steroids...
So true... Nice observation 😀
Hahaha
@Lala Sisli lol you don't understand

Very nice and simple dish. Super close to the way I have made it for years. Well done!
Tried this! Delicious!
For me this is a basic tomato sauce for pasta. I make alla arrabbiata sauce with, olive oil, onion, garlic, pink salt, tsp each basil and Italian seasoning. fresh tomatoes, tomato sauce (glass bottle) , dried Habanero chili or other types, black olives in bulk then I slice it, capers, parmigiano cheese to top at the end.
[ whole wheat pasta] I prefere penne because it holds the sauce very well.
I love this video and you! Fantastic.. Thanks 💖
I tried out this recipe and it turned out excellent ...Fantastic ...thanks ❤️❤️
Very nice recipe, so simple and delicious!
For all the italia-nerds let me add 2 things: you dont have to salt your tomato sauce, when you add some tablespoonsof the salty water beforhand, also helps with the mixing of noodles and sauce. If you need even more salt afterwards, add some cheese (parmigiano or pecorino!) after the noodles, in the pan, off heat :D second, the garlic is in fact NOT optional xD sry but if you don't like garlic, this is not for you ...
Fantastic
I’ll try it out today.
love your kitchen!

Good show, Donal! I make this dish often (and enjoy it every bit as much as you seem to). Snuggle a couple of good-size meatballs next to that pasta and maybe sprinkle a bit of chiffonade-cut basil atop the finished dish and I am a very happy man indeed. 😀
This is the first video I’ve watched of him and I freakin love him XD
welcome!!! :)
Donal Skehan Thanks! I just binge watched your videos with Rosanna Pansino and I’m obsessed with your accent XD Irish accents are the best 👌
Thankyou, good recipe

Your so right about the salt ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love this dish, very easy and fast but i also love it with fresh red pepper. Anyway, no matter what kind of hot pepper you use the dish remains delicious.
If I tried flipping pasta covered in tomato sauce, I can pretty much guarantee it would end up on me or the floor... or both. Well done, Donal. Magnifica! 💞

Never thought of adding tomato paste to the canned tomatoes while preparing this sauce. I’m planning to make this for dinner and I’ll remember this tip :)
Dude, you make love...not only food!
HA thanks! :)
Dats wat shee sed
Looks yummy, am gonna try itt5tt
I'm so gonna make this.
Great recipe donal but i just want to tell you that this is a normal red sauce pasta not arrabbiata pasta (btw it’s arrabbiata not Al-arrabbiata), as I’m arab i will tell you the real arrabiata, first the red sauce called “tasbeka” it’s a way we cook the red sauce by sautéing onion and garlic in oil then adding two tsp of tomato paste when it starts to sizzle you add the tomato purée and leave it until the oil covers the surface of the sauce and it reduces, you then add spices which is( salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder not flakes), after that you add small chunks of (tomatoes, olives and green pepper) and no cheese at all and it’s mainly made with penne pasta not spaghetti. That’s it i hope i gave you the real arrabbiata
It's good to see you doing videos, again. I haven't seen one fro some time.
One question about the cooking time for the sauce: How can you cook canned/tinned tomatoes for so short a time, without losing the high acidity? I always do a long simmer ... 2 hours, minimum. I've never had a fully flavorful "quick" tomato sauce.
Tinned tomatoes are already partially cooked. They only need a few minutes to pick up more taste from the other ingredients. I use whole tomatoes in thick juice and give them a few snips with the kitchen scissors to cut them down to size. I don't usually blitz them as I prefer a more rustic texture.
Hey Donal ... Great work as always.. I wanted that remaining tomato sauce from the blender into the pan too.. You could have at least 2 more tbsps of that goodness. 😃😃
4:51 the sound of foodgasm😂😂😂 u definitely don't chew when u eat🤣🤣
It seems really yummy **
Hello from Nepal 🇳🇵. I had tried it, it was yummielious 🍝. It’s a easiest recipe. Thank you for sharing it. 😘
First thing I ever made or cooked was hot sauce at age 5... my dad believed in honing knife skills early on. Plus we cook our salsas to intensify the heat
