2007 NC Miata - Waterford Hills Bracket Race Onboard 7/2024

First time getting this car on track using the Waterford Hills Bracket Race on 7/27/2024. I signed up mostly to shake the car down but it was still an interesting race. In session 1 you are "qualifying" to determine what your target time for the day is going to be. Then, you choose your target time based on those laps and in session 2 try to replicate the lap as closely as possible. The person who's 3 closest laps to their target time in session 2 are the closest wins.
Unfortunately I had to end session 2 early due to a problem with the car which is a shame because my qualifying times vs my target time would have been good enough for P3.
Ultimately happy the car ran a full stint with minor issues that are fixable in the short term. Tires newer than 2017 and more time with the car and it should be even better.
