What would be great is if you created a part 2 and showed how you can connect one null to another by using "value+thisComp.layer("Null 1").transform.position" to build a hierarchy chain.

HAY can I ask why not just move the pin you need to create an object to control it?

so you can parent the nulls to each other. this way you can do shoulder and elbow rotations more easily.
