Also to answer your question, I'm both team honk and no honk. I feel like there's a time and a place to do something like that. If someone cuts you off and almost clips you, absolutely honk. If the light turns green and they're not moving (after a couple seconds), I do a quick, polite little "toot toot". But for your situation, I absolutely would NOT have honked. I agree that that's totally rude and says "yo, move from your spot so I can park there". Not cool.
I have the exact thought about honking and I also tell my husband not to honk a lot because it's rude. Hahaha

In regards to the honking, I usually see flashing your brights as the "nice honk". i.e. if you need to let someone know they can go, just give em a little flash 😊

A good Christmas book to read, set in NYC, is A Gift From Tiffany’s by Melissa Hill. There’s a movie, too, called Something From Tiffany’s. 🙂
I started with CoHo books and other romcoms, but I got into fantasy with A Court of Thorns and Roses and now I’m hooked!!

It's a classic, but Little Women is a great Christmas read. As far as decorating early goes, I totally agree - but when you live in a small apartment, decorating isn't always easy with such little space. I envy those with the space to store their christmas decorations during the year.

Girl, I love your blogs, but I just want to encourage you, as a fellow Christian: Please shop more ethically. A lot of the things you buy are made in sweatshops with inhumane conditions, sometimes even using forced labor. It's especially jarring to be buying things celebrating Christ, while they were made by a fellow child of God in abhorent conditions. Especially especially since you have the means to be buying ethically made products that can be more expensive (since they pay an actual living wage and are in safe conditions). Please consider this!
I love fourth wing! It brought me back from years of book slump. I do love the trope and genre, so it probably was one of the factors why I love it so much. Rebecca's writing style as well is really good. Her husband is in the military, it is probably why she has a good grasp about politics and the art of war which I appreciate. I hope you'll love it as well! ❤

Jess you would love fantasy novels!! i mean i'm guessing bc i like it hahahaa but i reccommend reading more fantasy novels bc you really do get lost in the mystical world the authors create!!
I have to say, several vlogs back, Jess recommended the Inheritance Game books. I took a chance, and read the whole trilogy. I absolutely loved them! It's clean of sensuality, and language, which I was so thankful for. I loved the story of rags to riches (with mysterious strings attached), and the mystery and suspense aspect of it was really interesting. I love a good mystery, and this was a good mystery. Also, for anybody that likes good, clean mysteries, I would recommend the author Dee Henderson. She's a really good, clean, Christian author, and her mysteries are gripping.
I did the same thing! Those books are so good and I am so sad I finished them all.

I laughed At your honk vs no honk side rant. I have always had the rule that I just don’t honk unless it’s an emergency. I get so scared and stressed if someone honks at me because sometimes I wait a little extra if I’m not sure I can merge because I have 2 babies in the car always so I can’t imagine how scared an elderly person would be and possibly panic and crash or shoot out in traffic at an intersection. Honking can cause accidents TEAM NO HONK!❤
The height of rudness for that person to honk. You're under no obligation to move just because some is waiting. Wave them past.

Fourth Wing is my FAVOURITE book of the year, and i'm almost halfway through Iron Flame now. I think you would love the romance because its honestly one of the best romances I've read (other being Divine Rivals). Just be aware that there is smut in it and I know not everyone loves that. But gosh, its such an amazing book. It doesn't have a ton of world building so it is also easy to follow and just a very addicting, fast paced book.

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in my country but I put my Christmas decorations usually in the second half of November or in the middle. I already did it at work, today. The tree i don't have for a long time because of my two cats so I do that later.

I decorated the week after Halloween lol. It’s my first Christmas as a married woman and finally having our own place so I wanted to cherish it longer than just the month of December! Also I figure if I’m not hosting thanksgiving might as well get straight to Christmas 😂

The 'A Court of Thrones and Roses' by Sarah J Maas is a great intro to fantasy too. 1st book is good and easy to get through, but 2nd and 3rd are both amazinggg!!! If you like Fourth Wing, I would definitely recommend getting into this series
