For the audio just take a screenshot of every possible settings page (Voice Meeter, Discord, OBS, Windows Settings, Game Audio, Go XLR, Control Panel, Virtual cables if any, etc) when everything is working fine. Then if something messes up you can just reset all the options to the right ones. Also in windows device manager you can disable any audio devices you are not using, limiting the devices that will populate in drop-down menus while doing troubleshooting.
