I feel like Suns fans would happily see KD leave for some young talent and picks. You don’t need 3 iso scorers. Make one of them Sengun, Markkanen, Towns, etc. that would be way better.
Beal is the problem since his position overlaps with Booker. Bigger problem is the owner shutting down coaches idea about getting true point guard for a more playing time of three stars they have.
Houston could see the writing on the wall and want to keep those Phoenix picks. They could easily both be in the top ten. Durant is old, Booker and Beal play the same position, and the Suns have no real ways to upgrade their roster due to new luxury tax restrictions.
I’m a die hard suns fan and I want a full rebuild. I have no ill will towards anybody. We tried to contend and we failed. No harm no foul. It’s Time to move on . Trade booker and Durant and get our future back
I don't think they will, but teams are starting to see the value in trading away multiple stars in their prime. OKC, the Nets... if you can get good value you can set yourselves up well if you're willing
Might still be able to compete with booker. Trade kd, get rid of Beal. Might be able to get Booker's friends in KAT and dlo. What they really need is a true point guard tho. Ever since cp3 left, the suns haven't been the same
Agreed. If I was Houston, I'd keep my cap space to pay sengun and maybe green. Fred, brooks, amen, Jabari, and Sengupta, with Tari, green, reed, and white on the bench is a great top 9
KD is a wish on a monkey's paw at this point. Every team he's been to since that last chip he won has been cursed: torn achilles in 2019 Finals, missed the entire 2020 season, lost in the 2nd round by an inch in 2021, embarrassingly swept in 2022 w/Kyries antics forcing Harden out, then he forces a trade to PHX and almost immediately gets hurt in 2023, and this year the Suns got embarrassed in the 1st round by Minny. You bring KD on board anywhere, you've cursed your franchise.
Man look we can't control what the Rockets do, so why even speculate. I'm resigned to the idea of KD coming, because one thing is for sure, Ime Udoka is running his team. I have faith in Ime as a coach to get the Rockets where they need to be. One thing I learn when the Rockets were getting their chips was, Rudy. He was a player's coach, he knew how to identify with his players and motivate his players. KD coming here may be what he needs, because KD is coachable unlike Lefraud. So let's see, and if happens, let's hope Ime can be the difference KD needs, because no matter how y'all feel, KD still has game and a good coach like Ime can help. Remember Boston aren't who they are because of Joe, they are who they are because of Udoka. But they need to keep Alpi. Alpi needs Ime too.
Dudes entire career is him leaving as soon as the situation isnt absolutely perfect. I dont know that id be offering up a bunch of picks for that guy at this point. Especially for Houston. Theyve got a team full of young players with potential, why risk all of that? Let the players continue to get better and keep drafting well. Teams get too ahead of themselves and it sets them back so far they have to do another full on rebuild.
KD has to stick with the team whether good and bad time. That why i respect Bron more because he don't jump team to team if he unsatisfy. He stick with the team and provided leadership as well
The only surprising thing to me about Kevin Durant is that he’s still playing at a high level, after the numerous injuries he had in Brooklyn. I was expecting a major drop off in the last season or two.
Who’s to say the Suns aren’t acting like the Nets did with Bridges? In that case, they may have already decided to trade KD but they’re waiting until the best circumstances, or when they have more leverage.
I'm so glad the celtics said hell no to trading Jaylen Brown (plus picks!) for KD. He does this like every 2-3yrs now. His legacy is gonna be nice, but it would've been a lot nice had he not bounced around so much
Hated the trade for KD when it happened and hate it even more now. Dudes just a plug and play mercenary which we didn’t need. Do we have to rebuild if we trade him? Idk, I think Beal could look completely different if he was the 2nd option and then we have actual cap room to work with
I try to see it from a players angle if a franchise doesn’t want to take any chances on being better when you got swept the year before why the hell would I want to stay if I know we’re not any better
I think the dumb thing about this houston move is that Houston isn’t close to contenders. Like I understand if they were a piece away but they didn’t even make the play in so adding Kevin Durant makes them what a 1st round exit at best? Then they would give up their future for a dude who has a limited amount of time in the league.
I dont hate hik its just that i dont want the rockets to give up their young core and collection of picks for kd Fred Vanvleet (salary filler 2 suns picks would be an offee that i could deal with
As a rockets fan. Please make it happen. Durant gets so much hate but is a star who doesn’t need the ball and still makes a huge difference. Phoenix was built terribly tbh
I honestly dont like how ppl change the narrative around KD. KD in gsw left because as the best player, he was treated very disrespectfully by GM at the time and also Draymond. They failed to address it in house and he decided he isnt wanted there. Same thing that happened with Jordan Poole. The Nets situation was weird because he really had a chance to win that team a championship and boost his legacy but we know injuries played a part in destroying all that. But Harden forced his way out then there was tension with Kyrie and the Nets and he wanted to leave. He defenitely played a major part in that but we acting like this happens every time. No sources said KD asked for a trade from PHX and KD didnt go there expecting the second (CP3) and third (Ayton) best players at the time to get traded away. Yall think he LeGM when he not he didnt agree to any of that.
All this talk about how Durant feels or what the Suns want becomes irrelevant because it isn't very likely that the Houston Rockets actually want KD. Why would they? 1. They aren't ready for a final push to a championship, they're too early in their build. 2. How exactly is a guy in his late 30s who is going to breakdown at any moment going to help them at this point in their rebuild? 3. I just don't see why KD would want to go to Houston of all places. At this point in his career, he should go to a team that could realistically be a contender with him on the roster. If he's not in a "win-now" mindset, he's basically just treading water until it's time to hang up the jersey.
Tell me you didn't watch the draft without telling me 🤡😂. Suns just drafted the 2 best defensive players in the draft. Not to mention the only person saying kd wants to be traded is SAS
Can some please explain to me how phx 2027 pick would be higher value to the suns then the nets picks next year? If Phx blows it up this summer wouldn’t they want high value picks for 2025 not 2027?
I don’t get the picks thing. Why would the suns want their own picks when the nets picks are obviously better? Nobody has explained that. The player haul they get for KD, plus Booker and Beal will be ultra competitive
Your assuming the nets pick may be better. But for a team with like the nets they are incentize to continue to improve and the picks make or may not be more valuable depending on many factors. While if you control your own picks you control you own destiny. If you want to dump salary and players and tank it's much easier if you control your own pick rather than rely on another team in this case the nets.
Firstly, I don't think nets picks it's gonna be good Secondly, if suns wants to blew their roster better to them had their own pick cus they maybe can use that as assets or they can use that to tanking so hard and pick player from draft and hoping there's gonna be franchise cornerstone
@@gilanganugrahfajar5502 I don’t see why people assume they would stop being a competitive team without Durant. They were a finals team without him. If they trade Durant for a haul of players of similar value to what he was worth 2 years ago (Bridges and Johnson) they would still be good. Booker is great. Beal is good. Allen, Nurkic, they aren’t bad.
@@BBallRambling yeah beal is good but remember about his contract same like durant his contract definitely gonna kill the suns cus they not gonna had good bench player if they want to trade someone it's beal BUT cus he had no trade clause suns can't do anything about that and just imagine play two player who play in same position and the second guy just vanished in the playoffs like beal do this season in playoffs
@@gilanganugrahfajar5502 I understand that. I think Beal being on the team doesn’t stop them from being good. He was disappointing. But he had plenty of good games. He played hurt a lot which is why it looks like he “vanished”
Here's a crazy drama-filled idea: Suns draft Bronny, convince Lebron to come join him, Suns trade Beal to Lakers. Suns would then have the drama of Lebron but at least they have someone to run the offense, which they didn't have last year.
We’ll take him in Dallas. Don’t need him to do shit except put up his 25 to 27 a game, average five or six rebounds, and stay out of drama. Luka and Kyrie will do the rest…..2-3 rings for Kevin.
Kevin Durant is the type of guy who complains about his team despite the fact that he helped build it in the first place.......Kevin do you know that the supermax deal was put in place because of you....the CBA has been adjusted so that a Golden state and Phoenix situation doesn't happen again. Kevin Durant, the type of person to buy a house and move town two weeks later. Kevin Durant is the type of person who would make a sandwich and toss it after one bite.
CBA was adjusted before Phoenix happened and they still traded for Beal. It will go down as the worst trade ever for a non star player. Washington should have had to give up a few firsts to get off that contract when the new CBA was announced.
i dont understand why Phoenix picks are more valuable to Phoenix than Brooklyn's. Someone explain it to me. why would Phoenix not prefer Brooklyn's picks? A Suns team without Durant is still way better than Brooklyns current lineup and Brooklyn isnt done making trades to tank
Guys like KD, PG, Dame etc. (mid 30’s second tier stars) don’t move the needle anymore. Especially now in the Western Conference. You think OKC, Minnesota, Denver, Dallas, Memphis (w/ a healthy Morant) even N.O. are going to be threatened by where KD ends up? 🤷🏾♂️
@@gabriel_trey5 they aint watch the games lmfao kd averaged 27 shooting like 52/41/85 without being a negative on defense even with the most hater take possible kd is top 20 alltime pg and dame dont belong in a sentence with him
@@cheap272nah man he can keep that. His contract takes a bunch of cap space so if you do get him you have no more team left and KD isn’t a carrying type of player he needs a lot of help to win.
I'm not even mad at this one the team crashed out not because of him I still think that if they dint had Bradley's deal on the books the Suns would be able to make decent moves Beal is just not that good. now the rockets if they could get Durant for cheap that team could be interesting if they make other moves and go all in.
Counting Bradley Beal as a star is a stray for all actual star players. Beal is a 1 time All-NBA 3rd team and 3 time NBA All-Star. Does that sound like a star player to you? His agent is a slam dunk superstar but he sure isn't.
Bucks need to trade bobby portis and brook lopez. Lopez is 37 and portis with no defense. Those two players try to get a backcourt player and someone comparable to Lopez in return.
@sportinglogically I like to consider myself a basketball savant, but someone, anyone is going to have to explain to me how giving up Brooklyn's first round picks, a team that's obviously tanking is less attractive than the Phoenix picks going back to Phoenix. Yes I know they got more pics back in the trade, but they don't equate to the Surefire top five Nets picks. So you, Woj, Windhorst, somebody. Please explain
First of all the Net work have never traded Bridges without the deal with houston getting done first. Second once the deal with houston was finalized it was earlier for the Net to then approve of the Knicks trade. Also why does everyone seem to think every nets pick going forward in top 5. You do realize that the houston got lucky in the lottery just like atlanta did right. Other wise if houston didn't move up to 3 the pick the nets pick to houston was going to be at number 9 not 3.
Also FYI we this to be true because the pick swap with the rockets has been approved and the Knicks trade for Bridges as still not need finalized as of today because to knock still need to move about 4.4million in salary for the trade to officially go though.

Secondly, if suns wants to blew their roster better to them had their own pick cus they maybe can use that as assets or they can use that to tanking so hard and pick player from draft and hoping there's gonna be franchise cornerstone
He played hurt a lot which is why it looks like he “vanished”
he's the best player N NBA
Kd ain’t nothing but a team hopper at this point
I'll give him this, he did it again. He found another sucker and snagged him. I will say it could be worse....it could be Harden.
KD to Pistons for Ron Holland sasser Stew 2030-2031 pick four seconds
KD is going to have the weirdest legacy ever
If you’re trading book away, why would you want picks to help KD win a championship?
Here's a crazy drama-filled idea: Suns draft Bronny, convince Lebron to come join him, Suns trade Beal to Lakers. Suns would then have the drama of Lebron but at least they have someone to run the offense, which they didn't have last year.
And that's not happening cus lakers draft bronny
@@gilanganugrahfajar5502 Heh, yeah that plan is out.
They need to trade beal, KD doesn't seem upset at all in pheonix. Usually he is purposely showing he's upset
They can't trade beal. Horrible contract with a no trade clause. Who'd give up picks or players for that?
How? With no trade clause beal had and his wages?
We’ll take him in Dallas. Don’t need him to do shit except put up his 25 to 27 a game, average five or six rebounds, and stay out of drama. Luka and Kyrie will do the rest…..2-3 rings for Kevin.
Okc could just throw a casual 5 1sts for ol KD
Bronny got drafted by the Lakers... Definitely nobody saw that coming
Jalen Mcdaniels trade is more news worthy than this bc KD leaving teams is nothing exciting at this point
i dont understand why Phoenix picks are more valuable to Phoenix than Brooklyn's. Someone explain it to me. why would Phoenix not prefer Brooklyn's picks? A Suns team without Durant is still way better than Brooklyns current lineup and Brooklyn isnt done making trades to tank
If they have their own picks they can tank but if they have someone elses picks they can HOPE that its valuable
Another rebuild for the suns in their future
Guys like KD, PG, Dame etc. (mid 30’s second tier stars) don’t move the needle anymore. Especially now in the Western Conference. You think OKC, Minnesota, Denver, Dallas, Memphis (w/ a healthy Morant) even N.O. are going to be threatened by where KD ends up? 🤷🏾♂️
If KD doesn’t move the needle then LJ should be out of the league by now.
@@Marlowe10100these guys act like kd is some bum, and not the top10 player he actually is lol
@@gabriel_trey5 they aint watch the games lmfao kd averaged 27 shooting like 52/41/85 without being a negative on defense even with the most hater take possible kd is top 20 alltime pg and dame dont belong in a sentence with him
@@cheap272ong tired of the kd hate
@@cheap272nah man he can keep that.
His contract takes a bunch of cap space so if you do get him you have no more team left and KD isn’t a carrying type of player he needs a lot of help to win.
SL thoughts on the sixers drafting McCain
I am surprised they and MIA passed on Knecht, but obviously McCain is younger with more upside. Solid!
Are the Pacers a dark horse for KD? I don’t think it’s a good fit, but the Pacers do have solid assets to make it happen.
The Pacers need defense not more offense.
I'm not even mad at this one the team crashed out not because of him I still think that if they dint had Bradley's deal on the books the Suns would be able to make decent moves Beal is just not that good. now the rockets if they could get Durant for cheap that team could be interesting if they make other moves and go all in.
Swept by Boston In Brooklyn and Phoenix . What’s next for Durant nba career
The Suns messed up by trading for him last year
"Two stars and bradley beal" is crazy strays
Counting Bradley Beal as a star is a stray for all actual star players. Beal is a 1 time All-NBA 3rd team and 3 time NBA All-Star. Does that sound like a star player to you? His agent is a slam dunk superstar but he sure isn't.
@@kevinkrusen483 🤓 joke pal
The suns deserve this for ever trusting the cupcake they destroyed the team’s future for him and this is the reward you get
Just a random question... are u still a nets fan?
I guess this is KD's next next next next next chapter😂
Bro this news was called cap like 2 days ago
You posted this too late..Sun's general manager dismissed this. You can put it to rest 😅
KD will never be happy bc he sold his soul to win in golden state
Bucks need to trade bobby portis and brook lopez. Lopez is 37 and portis with no defense. Those two players try to get a backcourt player and someone comparable to Lopez in return.
WARRIORS
