Mimi would have an Oricorio, a Cherrim or Ludicolo, and perhaps a Lilligant of the many fashionable grass types. Izzy: Metagross, Scizor, a Joltik starter. Maybe a Delibird, if you give it an email courier aesthetic and actual moves. TK: a Minior starter (patamon is tough, it just gets bullied…), a Clefable or a Togekiss, and a Gallade.
@@FiveToedSloth for Joe, I think walrain would be a great choice for ikakumon. A giant walrus like creature with white hair and long range attacks, how perfect is that. Also I want him to have g-max laprus for zudomon as she can learn electric moves and has a horn, but joe uses him as a boat

Nothing wrong with a tough ‘mon which is head and shoulders above the community perception of it. So no Beartic? That’s surprising, given how mad he can get. I suppose other creatures display “simmering anger” better than bears though. There is more to it than “frozen ursaring” though. I don’t think any of these six represent his protective side though. Sure, Lucario is heroic, but it doesn’t represent *family.” Maybe one Pokémon could have been replaced with an Arcanine…? Hrrrm. 6 is a tough limit.
Yeah, six is tough. There were a lot of Pokemon that really could have worked for Matt. Beartic was on the maybe list but Obstagoon ended up being the direction I went in

Honestly I think Dusk Form Lycanrock would work a little better for WereGarurumon but I can understand Lucario too

Would Houndstone have worked better for Garurumon had you known about it?
It's a great option but I still find myself leaning to Furfrou for some reason
