Torana L31 SLR 5000 Ground up restoration.

Dean come in for a total ground up restoration job on his genuine plated L31 SLR 5000 Torana,
This shows all the stages, from early on with the body completely stripped and granite blasted to bare steel,
Then the process began with the body needing major guard modifications to correctly suit big wheel clearances,
Repairing and correct fitting of the flare kit, rust removed, and the body is now sitting in spray polyester primer, ready for blocking with splines and then paint, after a lot of careful hours,

@@TheSuzukik5 Had an LH sedan in 1992 when it was only 18 years old. Admit I never knew its best years but trying to keep rust off this car for rego was a losing battle. These vehicles were simply not given the same treatment at factory as you have given this one.
