Again as in my previous comments on your vlogs this is a place I remember when I lived in St Georges as a child. At the start of the vlog I remember to the left of the theatre was a market. The shop on the corner to the right was a fantastic toy shop. My sister was born in the small hospital near to the station in Oakengates. The flyover you walk under up towards St Georges wasn’t built when I lived there. Thanks again Aaron, wonderful footage.
Grew up round ST.Georges. The library used to be round the corner, the Place I think was a supermarket in 90's? 2010 I was back in the recession. A decade later still the same. Think the tanning studio was a pet shop, or at least the side building was.
I just feel the wind blowing thorough my ears and nose getting cold with quite roads its so amazing i miss those days of walking down the street on saturday and sunday mornings.keep uploading the videos though i am sitting here in India but getting to visit telford for free.
Comment @ 11:42 made me smile. Full of decent amazing people - the place looks like a ghost town. I remember it from the late 60’s/70’s and lived through the redevelopment.

I don't know/remember what Oakengates was like during the 1990's but it seems a decent place now.
