    Thank you for this introduction to the campus, it seems like a beautiful place. I just got accepted into graduate MLA program, I'm super excited while watching this.

      Hello, I am also planning to apply for a MA at UNM. I've a question regarding assistantships. Did you get one and if yes, does it satisfy the financial requirements for a I-20 form. I've been looking forward to your reply. Thanks 🙏🏻

    I saw that at UNM the acceptance rate is 96%. so basically almost everyone who applies gets accepted right?

    Me and my gf are planning on getting our master degrees there. Is the unm area a safe place to live ?

      Hi there! Congrats that is very exciting! Albuquerque definitely has some safer areas and some that I would avoid living in. Generally right around UNM is a good area but I would avoid Central ave area if you can.

    How are employment opportunities in New Mexico after doing a masters degree in UNM, Albuquerque??
    I'm an Indian student wishing to pursue MS Physics for the fall 2022 intake....

      Hello! I personally am not sure about the employment opportunities in New Mexico for your particular field. I'm sorry that I am not more help, but I would recommend contacting the New Mexico Economic Development Department hopefully they can be of more assistance: edd.newmexico.gov. Best of luck on your MS degree!

      Did you take admission there? How did it turn out?

      @@shaifalisaxena6376 hello. I went for California State University, Fresno. I have been very interested in Astrophysics and the program has been wonderful here. I really tested my luck because other departments are not so great at CSU Fresno. The physics department has been great so far. It just has less than 15 grad students and they really focus on individual attention.

    When are you going to resume in person tours?

    • @beccarod22
      @beccarod22  4 года назад +1

      Hi there! Thank you for your question, UNM is still functioning under limited operations at this time, but I would recommend visiting the Office of Admissions website at admissions.unm.edu for more information regarding tours. I do not work for the Office of Admissions so I apologize that I do not have more detailed information regarding tours but hopefully they will be able to offer in-person tours again soon!

    Hey should I go to UNM or NMSU??

    • @beccarod22
      @beccarod22  2 года назад

      Hi there! I would say that depends on what you want to study and if you prefer a bigger city/school (UNM) to a smaller city/school (NMSU). Both are great universities!

    Thumbs-down for the masks. I hate masks, and I never wore one.
