He repeatedly keeps telling BJP was "reduced" to 2 seats. BJP never existed before 1980 and in their first election they had a double digit vote share and 2 seats which followed with 83 seats in the next 5 years. Extremely biased opinion for sure

The very poor in our country are getting more poorer, day by day.....
"Garibi hatao" first... which started 25 years ago, is very important...
Half our citizens are able to take just one full meal only.
In the past 10 - 15 years, rising prices everywhere, makes it very difficult for the common man's living. . .
The present government and the opposition, together, should civilize, unite with each other and clean all the mess inside our country first, ..... most important to make unity & peace between religions..... instead of wasting public monies touring the world and fighting for elections...
Lord Ram will be so happy too.....
Journalists, media, CJI, ASI, ED etc. should be debating about such issues.. It's a pity most of them are one sided, who do not care for the "very important issues inside our country" !

Main blunder is at the roots. The beginning. If Nehru embraced private sector and incubated it, it would've created millions of jobs. Manufacturing should have come into the open while government should just regulate it. Defence should have been given better push. We should have been a net exporter and not an import dependant nation. Bringing special laws for muslims and discriminatory ones for Hindus and other faiths was a huge blunder. This is not secularism by any means. If these were done, we'd be a better nation.

Look, we all criticise Nehru because we have the hindsight of what happened in 80s and 90s. Nehru didn't know that it will turn out like that. In his time, the soviet style of governance was the hottest thing in the world. The Soviets had just defeated the Germans which kinda proved their superiority and the superiority of their planned economy over the hardcore industrialization of the Nazis. You can't blame Nehru for being impressed by the soviet model because if we would have been in that time, we would have been seduced by that too. Also, Nehru had this fear of crony capitalism getting strong which would eventually only lead to communists getting powerful as what was happening in Europe at that time which is why he discouraged industrialists like even his friend JRD Tata. Today we obviously know that that were wrong policies, but we have the hindsight which Nehru didn't had.

It is like to say, with due respect, that you are born out of your father's incapacity to control himself in intimacy with your mother. I think that you would be angry with my words. All the "intellectual" BS.
Given highly political nature of Islam, wherever muslims are in enough numbers, opposing Force would definitely form may be in form of BJP or Afd(germany) or PVV (netherlands) or Wirathu(Myanmar) or ReformUK(England) or Meloni(Italy) or Le pen ( France).
If RSS was not present it would be in different form. In India this ideology is called hindutva in Netherlands it's directly called anti islam.
Ok let me explain more. Suppose Congress did held muslims accountable what would happen then? Muslims would call congress Anti muslim and play victim card. Another party would have come to claim their votes.( Would be Left). Then slowly and gradually congress would become "anti islam" party. And after some years of terrorist attacks ( common among muslims) Gupta would it was mistake of congress to not be soft with muslims.
Bottomline - Islam creates polarization eventually

One mistake that SG always makes, in 1984 people supported Congress due to death of Indiraji. It was not rejection of BJP or other opposition parties and their ideologies. But in 2014 people rejected Congress, in 2019 people rejected Congress and its ideology and preferred BJP's ideology and in 2024, people are going to wipe out Congress and its ideology and its ecosystem too and majority of the people have whole heartedly accepted the ideology and goal of development and cultural nationalism. People of my generation who used admire USA and felt ashamed of being Indian and apologetic of being Hindu, have started taking pride in identifying themselves as Indians and Hindus. All 80-90 years of effort of Nehru and his dynasty have been defeated and people have started identifying themselves with Ram, Krishna, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Sawarkar, Tilak, Patel and Vivekananda.
The biggest mistake that Congress and Nehru did was undermining and underestimating the common Indian and Hindu and their immense faith in Parmeshwar, Dharm and Karm.

Coming to accidents perse, i still rank indira gandhis action above Rajiv gandhis ..firstly It eroded peoples confidence in Congress and first time opposition parties of different hues subdued their ideological bases and came together which changed the nature of Indian politics after that

By far, the biggest political blunder was made by MK Gandhi when he chose, Nehru as the Prime Minister Of India despite the fact Nehru did not get a single Pradesh congress committee vote. This has had the most far reaching consequences on the path independent India.
The second biggest blunder was made by Sardar Patel when he gave away his 12 out of 15 Pradesh congress committee votes to Nehru. By the way, Patel did not have the right to give away his votes to someone else. Gandhi should have recognized this and should not have accepted this vote transfer.

    • @Aashutosh_Payaal28

If it had been a AICC vote Nehru would have won hands down. Patel won simply because he was a party man and did backroom work. He worked with other PCC presidents. He was himself a Gujarat PCC president for a long time.
Nehru was way more popular than patel. Patel was popular in Gujarat but Nehru was all India leader.
Also you should know Nehru was elected president of congress in 1951, just a year before election. And 1952 election was won by him by huge majority.
There was no difference between Patel and Nehru over economic policies. Maybe Patel would have better dealt with china but both had agreed to a mixed economy model. Patel was harder on communists.
And plus, Patel died by 1950. Before his death, all decisions were taken jointly by both Nehru and him as Patel was deputy PM.

The biggest blunder (actually bordering on criminal act) was refusal to allow Sardar Patel to be PM, orchestrated by a pedophile.
Had Patel become PM, both Gandhi and Nehru would have migrated to Pakistan along with the rest of the Hinduphobes

_When talking about the past we often over the role of _*_circumstance_*_ in making those decisions. Leaders are just humans who are driven by incentives like everyone else, and incentives is a function of socio culture order of the times. Often times the decision would be exactly the same if another individual were in their position_

It should have been from 1947.
All 3 would have been Nehru.
    1. Gifting Kabo Valley to Myanmar.
    2. Nehru's Kashmir policy (Refusal to accept Kashmir's accession to Bharat, unilaterally declaring ceasefire and going to UN, Article 370 etc)
    3. Nehru's China policy (Supporting Tibet invasion, gifting Aksai Chin to China and refusal to allow Air Force to support the Army in 1962 war etc)

Refusal to accept accession? Hari Singh was an idiot, he did not sign instrument of accession on 15th august 1947 but wanted to be independent. Had he signed before that date, Indian Army would have been deployed on borders.
He signed stand still agreement instead.

Hari Singh signed the instrument of accession 3x and it was accepted by Mountbatten on the 3rd occasion, after Pakistan invaded India. Better check up on true history.
The Khan of Kalat also signed the instrument of accession but Nehru rejected it too, following which, Pakistan invaded and made Balochistan a part of Pakistan.
The sufferings on the Tibetans, Baloch and Kashmiris are all the fault of 2 Hinduphobes: Nehru and his mentor, Gandhi.

@@prakashsurendran6285 Ok so I will easily counter all these whatsApp arguments using authentic data and sources.
1.) On 15th July 1946 Maharaja Hari Singh said that Kashmiris 'would work out their own destiny without dictation from any quarter not an integral part of the state'.
2.) In the third week of June 1047 Mountbatten went to Kashmir. In srinagar The viceroy meets PM of Kashmir, Ramchandra Kak and asked him to accede to either dominion. The PM answered defiantly that they wanted to stay independent.
3.) On 15th August 1947 Hari Singh offered to signed A standstill agreement with India and Pakistan. Pakistan signed this but India said it would wait and watch. So that means Kashmir did not accede to India like other hindu rulers did before 15 August 1947.
4.) On 27 September, Nehru wrote a letter to Patel about deteriorating situation in Kashmir and of possibility of Pakistan trying to send infiltrators to kashmir in large numbers. Nehru further wrote to Patel that Hari Singh should make friends with abdullaah (who was pro India at that time)
5.) On 12 October 1947 Deputy PM of kashmir confirms the desire of maharaja to stay independent.
If you want proofs I can send them to you of all these 5 points

You must have referred to Irfan Habib, Romila Thapar and other Marxist Hinduphobic distorians.
Listen to statements on the above by Dr. Sudanshu Trivedi, which even the Khangress and Ghandy family never disputed. All atrocities of the British and the Mughals were whitewashed by Khangress and the leftists.
Malabar Moplah genocide of Hindus in 1921 was lauded by Gandhi and Congress and the leaders were proclaimed national heroes and given "freedom fighter's pension" until recently.
Don't just send proof, send evidence to back your so-called "proof".
Irfan Habib, Romila Thapar etc were exposed as distorians when they challenged the ASI findings on Ram Janambhumi. They made wild claims without any evidence. All records of the period were in Parsi or Sanskrit, which none of the Marxist distorians knew, but claim to be the ultimate authority.

Mr. SG .. Back to your original Left of centre Ideology again. You smartly excluded the real blunders of Congress in the disguise of calling out only political blunders. Secondly, you counted two of the Indira, and Rajiv actions as blunders just because that led to the legitimisation of RSS & rise of the BJP to the current level...as if the RSS and BJP are some antinational institutions and don't have any place in your so-called pseudo secular India...??

The big elephant in the room sadly missed: the root cause of holding India back all these years since 1947- Gandhi Ji getting Nehru to be the Pm overriding the claims from Sardar Patel ,aristocracy, elitism overtaking Indic and nationalism and competence. That led to the worst dynasty banking on "secularism" and minority vote catching - dividing the country -ending with what we have today. Shekar Ji is of course a pundit , but preoccupied with Modi rise. No surprises there.
