I got some ideas about muscles I should strengthen from this video. Some of it was not easy to do on my home Metro IQ reformer, which is flat on the floor and I wondered I why I spent so much time switching equipment in and out, which again, is not easy on a reformer that is flat on the floor. For me, the flow of Pilates is a spiritual experience, and this routine didn’t flow. My favorite move in the whole program was the one sitting on the edge of the reformer facing the wall, with the foot from the leg closest to the footbar, leg straight, pulling toward the bar. I don’t think I’ll get any awards for the clarity of that description! I will use bits and pieces of this routine in my own routines.

I just returned from a challenging hiking vacation which was great for my knee strengthening. But the two days in the car to get back home was terrible. I'm so excited to do this cardio session tomorrow before work and to have it in my regular reformer workout rotation! Thank you. I love all of your cues too.

This has helped my one troubled knee that acts up very now and then 😂 Did it last week for he first time and wasn’t able to get around to doing it again until today but in the days in between,I’ve had zero knee pain or discomfort and have definitely felt they are stronger. Really felt the exercises even more so with the addition of the ball. Will be doing this on a consistent basis to keep them strong 🥰 thank you! 🙏

I’m trying to find the foot strap you used to place your foot under. I’d appreciate it if you could let me know the name of the straps.

Wow loved this!! Just bought an aeropilates reformer, 5 cord and you are great! I'm 63, so far lost 17 lbs, on Keto and excited to learn everything about my reformer. Knees hurt when doing kneeling exercises, so should I buy knee pads too?

What a great start to the New Year. Yes, I would recommend using a knee pad or toweling up under the knees for extra comfort and support.

Would you recommend these exercises for someone with rheumatoid arthritis in the knees?

I would recommend these exercises unless something you do doesn’t feel right then stop. You can always check with your doctor and PT as well.
