That's true in so, so many cases. In fact, many places have manufacturing in Mexico, and then bring people over from Mexico to work in their US facilities once they're trained and skilled at what they do, because they can't find native US labor to fill their needs. They're also not trying to cut costs by paying them less, those guys are well compensated, which is another myth that gets thrown around.

I am one of the winners and it was the best time of my life. Heavy D is spot on but I will add his crew were more like family than employees. We were treated like family and We even got to meet Cody “ whistlin diesel “. Diesel dave is so funny and also a great person. They are building barges to land choppers on to them and like any good company they don't just say that the product works they actually show and test it to be certain that it works and to find any unseen flaws like that flap Dave saw come up and the foldable roof on the helm. Putting your money were your mouth is big time!! That and insurance out the wazoo!! LoL could you imagine if that thing flipped and dumped the Blackhawk into the lake!!! Holly crap that would have been horible!!!!
It's only jeopardy if you don't do the math. Barges are a solved design, if you can define your needs well, you can easily just plug numbers in and design your barge around them. I know people aren't usually exposed to this kind of thing, but, barges are very, very common in the industrial world.
The difficulty here is building it in the time they had to build it. Especially because it had to be modular and able to be assembled on-site. Usually, if you're building something like this, you're building it near where it will be used and launching it. The modular nature of this is actually very cool, and if they can scale it, they have a pretty viable business here.
In a world full of "It can't be done" nay sayers here there is a glimmer of hope. Heavy D, Diesel Dave, and the entire crew are like a ray of light in the darkness. Go Sparks Motors! Make the stuff you want the way you want...not to low bid designed by a marketing department. Thank you for all your effort and professionalism. It is greatly needed and appreciated.

@@SegoMan both things can be true. There will alway inflation, this spike can be tied to pandemic recovery which is stronger than any other country in the entire world. What is not normal is the stagnation of wages that has no chance of keeping up with inflation. I'm simply pointing out that it is not a lack of work ethics it is a system out of balance.

I know this might make me sound stupid.....but what is a real use-case scenario of a helipad barge like this?
Powered barges are super, super useful, and, there's a major shortage of companies that can build a barge to spec. Lots of offshore/industrial stuff is far better suited to a barge than a boat, because a barge tends to be a much easier space to work with/in. They're not really going to ever be in high seas mind you, these are just work platforms. Think of it as having an island where you want it, when you want it, how you want it. Need to drill? Lay cable? dredge? refuel? maintain or fix something? Barges are the way.
Don't get me wrong here, the barge in the video is a party barge, that's what it's built for, but, it could just as easily be configured to do tons of stuff. It's also pretty small as far as barges go, but, scaling it out isn't really difficult. It could easily be twice this size without many changes.

Wait, I’m confused. You said you had to get the drip because you forgot your AG-1 and you were like going through a type of withdrawal without it but then you ended up drinking some so did you actually feel some type of withdrawal without it or what? Sorry I’m just a little lost here.
Supplement withdrawal isn't a real thing. They're hamming it up for the ad spot.
Also AG1 isn't really that great as far as supplements go, you can do way better for alot less. AG1 is a convenience product.

Why is Scammer Paul in the Video...
Everyone in the comments being like, "this was reckless, why would he build a barge for that?" There is a handful of companies build floating motorize landing pads for helicopters. They are on average 80 by 30 and made to provide landing in remote or flooded areas. All Dave did was make it into something versatile instead of just utility. So chill and enjoy the content.
This video is a great example of 4 of the 5 hazardous attitudes identified by the @FAA! Only a matter of time!

Don't forget there are a sit load of people out here like myself who scanned the 1st meeting minute to 3 minutes of a video to see if we want to watch it later because we don't have time right now and then throw it on the watchlist and move on. Whether this particular video is quote unquote worth it as far as length of viewing times, it won't bother the channel one way or the other he's doing just fine thank you!
