  • How fast is the 10th Gen Honda Accord 0-60 mph w/ the KTUNER STAGE 2 ECU TUNE? We're using the Dragy performance meter (link below) to test our project car, the 2019 Honda Accord 2.0 Touring 0-60 mph acceleration times - how much faster 0-60 mph does the KTuner Stage 2 tune make the 10th Gen (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022) Honda Accord? Follow along on our performance modification journey as we install and dyno test various Honda Accord FBO performance mods, including air intakes, downpipes, exhausts, ECU tunes (KTuner and Phearable), intercooler, upgraded turbos, and more!!!
    We now put a 10th Gen (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022) Honda Accord - our 2019 Honda Accord 2.0 (10 auto) project car to the infamous 0-60mph acceleration test using our Dragy Performance Meter, before continuing on our modification journey to add even more power to our project car. Next up, we plan to test the KTuner Stage 2 with the PRL High Volume Air Intake (HVI) to find out how much additional horsepower (if any) can be gained, and to see if it will further improve our project car's acceleration times?!?

    Hey man love the comparison videos your making. I would love to see that HVI on stage 2 to see the difference. So just a fun fact my friend has a 10th gen which we insstalled a k and n and also did a stage 2 ktuner . He always spinned a lot from the dig but when he rode with me as passenger I’m a bigger guy 280lbs his traction in front increased dramatically and he still had more power than stock and better traction kind of the best from both worlds. So in conclusion the next mod is a passenger for traction control 🤣

    I own a 2019 2.0t sport. I did some math at your sea level you lose about 15-17% of power so mathematically if you were where I live with my sea level you would bave a 0-60 of around 4.3-4.6 0-60! The car is truly phenomenal mechanically and aesthetically. I really enjoyed this video, thank you for it.

      @@TheLemonFactor great question. Part of me thinks the intake still won’t make nearly what PRL advertises, but I think it’ll make more than it did on the stock tune. I’ll guess the intake will be good for +8hp/8tq over OEM intake with the Stage 2 tune.

    What’s the DA and were you using 93 or 91 fuel? My stock 2020 2.0T Sport did almost identical 0-60 when it was stock before I tuned it. I only ran 93 E10 and we have a typical ~50-80ft DA or less so engines do run well in this air but still I would have thought even the OTS tune would have really improved the 0-60. I never ran the Ktuner maps to try, I went right to a remote tune.

      Stage 1 is just as quick. It has a more linear torque delivery than stage 2. Stage 2 puts more stress on the engine and turbo by targeting high boost in low rpms and that’s why you feel huge amounts of torque at low rpms

    How much would coilovers help with traction, are they worth it, would they ride too harsh for street performance, or are they just overhyped snake oil ??

    • @TheLemonFactor
      @TheLemonFactor  2 года назад

      Strictly in regards to traction... some, but not a ton. They help prevent the squat of the car under acceleration, which will raise up the front and lesson the downward force on the front tires, which in turn reduces your traction. Now with that said, with some cars, that very noticeable, but at least with my Touring there wasn't a large amount of squat to begin with. A lot of people opt for coilovers or springs for better cornering, and of course for ascetic reasons.

    Are the shifter pedals more responsive, or it's still a lag fest?

      Unfortunately the tune doesn’t change the transmission behavior 🤷‍♂️🫤

    I thought tuners would bring marked performance improvements. Sure you can mod things like downpipes, intake, and the like, but what will it take to drop it to low 4 second range?

      @don_huzan 2 года назад +1

      A limited slip differential which seems to only be an option (as of now) for the 6-speed manual

      Low 4 sec is going to be very difficult with a front wheel drive car, with no traction control, no differential, and a turbo that provides peak torque so low in the RPMs 🤷‍♂️

      @Jay G These are all extremely valid points, it’s just hard to get under 5 seconds even with all these upgrades without a limited slip diff

      @Jay G Thanks for the reply. So a tuner will take it from whatever it is 0-60 now to low 5 or something?

      @Jay G not possible to my knowledge

    Wtf, with stage 2 your zero to 60 worse then stock, why??

    • @TheLemonFactor
      @TheLemonFactor  Год назад

      My 0-60mph acceleration numbers will always be slower (approx. 0.5-0.6sec) as i'm at high altitude (~6,000ft) with lower pressure and less oxygen. During this testing the car was faster than stock by ~0.3sec. If you watch the other videos in which I test the 0-60mph with additional mods / tunes you'll see the times continue to get faster. If you want to compare to sea level / magazine test numbers, take the delta / improvement in times and compare.
