The baby park section was the epitome of “if you don’t think I can play this faster, than you’re wrong,” and I loved it. Awesome medley all together, it was a surprise to see a song from ridge racer there, I’m currently playing that one now. Otherwise, lots of nostalgia.

Interesting to see an R Racing Evo song on here. People generally weren't big on the game back in the day. I'm gonna leave my suggestion for Speed Nation from RR64 here, as 64 was largely overshadowed by the much more beloved Type 4, despite it having a very solid track list (both in courses, and in music variety.)
I'm glad that these are fan requested and not the most popular songs you think of with the console, because if that were the case then there's no way Creature Montage and Clock Tower would've gotten into this~
For something to be included from a Mario sports game is somewhat rare, but being remixed in heavy metal brings new joy, because this is what music sounds like music.
Gamecube was my childhood (also N64 hand-me-down from a cousin) and this medley chose some great music. The SSBM song was a nostalgic way to start and then the Legend of Zelda music right after was nice. I didn't think much could catch me off guard, but then we got Green Forest (Won't Stop, Just Go!) from Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and F-Zero GX Captain Falcon's Theme. This was a great medley :) I would love a GaMetal full version of Green Forest and Falcon's theme though; awesome choices with full remix potential :D
Whenever you do medleys especially varied ones like these I never check description so I can sew the surprises safe to say I jumped with excitement when I heard "FOREVER HE WILL BE MY HERO"

I've been looking forward to the day we'd hear a GameCube GaMetal medley for some years now, I'm very pleased with how it turned out! Highlights for me were Super Smash Bros. Melee's Opening (very fitting, still love playing this game), Delfino Plaza, X-Naut Fortress, Metroid Prime 2 Multiplayer, E. Gadd's Lab, Checker Knights, Green Forest, and Baby Park (which made for a super intense ending). I also love that you have been covering the boot up themes for these past few medleys, the GameCube was the first gaming console I heard about when I was a kid and I'm glad I got to eventually experience its library of games.
There were definitely some songs in there that I didn't realise that I needed a metal version of but loved hearing it like X-naut fortress, Creature monatge, and Professor E. Gadd's lab
I love how the game choices were iconic, yet the song picks were diverse. This sounds amazing for what is, in my opinion, the best Nintendo console for its games (then again, I grew up primarily in this era and I loved a lot of GCN games). Regardless, amazing work!

I mentioned this in the live chat during the premiere for this video, but Checker Knights actually originated from the Kirby anime, though only the Japanese OST; 4Kids replaced all the anime's music because, per their usual dubbing practices, it was cheaper to just make their own music for their anime dubs. The original song is called "Strong Star Warrior". It's still cool for Jonny to count it as a video game song and include it in this medley, though. Awesome selection overall, but it is a shame there wasn't room to fit in a Wario World song... Oh well, guess that means you'll just have to do a solo cover of one! You have NO IDEA how hard it is to find a decent cover of ANY songs from Tales of Symphonia, and you come along and absolutely Grand Slam it (as usual)... Thank you.

This medley _started_ with a bang, then _opened up_ and gave us a taste of how amazing the rest of it would be! Listening to this is like walking across a _field_ of bangers, then sailing across a _sea_ of them and even exploring a _plaza_ with buildings made of out bangers! The medley continued, and it did _naut_ disappoint, even pop _divas_ could enjoy it! If I played this on the _streets,_ I'd get _multiple_ people following me to listen to it! This is so perfect it's like it was carefully put together in a _lab,_ it's fit for even a _queen_ who lives in a fancy _castle!_ This medley is like a _montage_ of banger covers, even a _knight_ would bow down to someone who could make anything this amazing! Jonny just _won't stop_ making some of the best videogame covers out there, with how much fire is contained in this it could be considered a _blazing_ inferno! If anyone ever assembled a team of people who make fantastic covers, they'd probably put Jonny as the _captain,_ if anyone was allergic to amazing music then this would be _fatal!_ Then as the _clock_ starts ticking down to the end of the medley, it ends off with such a bang that even _babies_ would start headbanging!

This is majestic. as always. Funny thing is... I had almost none of these titles in my gamecube catalogue 😅 Only F-Zero. I played Melee, Tales of Symphonia and Twilight Princess but they borrowed the first two to me. And I played TP on Wii. My GCN games were Pokémon Colosseum, Sonic Adventure DX, 1080° Avalanche, Evolution Worlds, Pokémon Channel, Splinter Cell 1, 2 and 3, Soul Calibur II, Enter the Matrix, Viewtiful Joe, Vexx and Turok Evolution. ... I guess I don't have the more popular ones but I enjoyed my youth with them a lot!

Mann, i grew up with the gamecube after one generation, (In 2012 with 8 years old) i play some of this nintendo games but not at all. Hope in the future i can play that amazing games like the f-zero, the megaman's, pikmin, the zelda games, etc. Thanks for this cover of the one and only EPIC GAMECUBE console, the gamecube intro with the smash melee intro was an amazing start, very epic as always man.

The originals of a few of these songs aren't even close to being my favourites, but you really do make them so much better. I groaned when I heard the first few notes of Baby Park, I laughed when it kept getting crazier.

I think, starting with Smash Bros Melee opening was the best idea possible. This theme is just so iconic and strong. And adding Fatalize just gave me goosebumps from memories.
You sir have hit every GameCube game on this melody that I played on the system itself. Except for Symphonia, Prime 2 Echoes, Pikmin, and that racing game that isn't Mario Kart or F-Zero. Twilight Princess as well, but I still played it on the Wii so it gets a free pass. Go and rest easy hero.
Now this does bring a smile to my face. So many good memories of Kirby Air Ride and Pikmin. But today has just as many bangers. Pizza Tower is just a Deep Dish of delicious tunes, I hope you can remix some of them. Maybe start us of with some Hot or Cold Spaghetti?
Y'know, back when I was naught but a wee lad barely in the double digits of age, I thought these medleys were the most disappointing parts of the channel, I mean, "what the hell it's so many songs that are so cool and could get their own cover but they just get like, a minute at best?? lame." But now, not only as a more mature person and an actual adult, but also as someone who has gone on to become a small amateur musician myself, they're the part of the channel I appreciate the most. Sure, some of these songs are incredible and are worth their own star appearance by themselves, but medleys are no small task, between picking a good selection, ordering it in a pleasing way, and don't get me started on how nightmarish making transitions between every song can be sometimes. Here's to this medley, and any and all that are to come in the future!

My GCN games were Pokémon Colosseum, Sonic Adventure DX, 1080° Avalanche, Evolution Worlds, Pokémon Channel, Splinter Cell 1, 2 and 3, Soul Calibur II, Enter the Matrix, Viewtiful Joe, Vexx and Turok Evolution.
... I guess I don't have the more popular ones but I enjoyed my youth with them a lot!

Mann, i grew up with the gamecube after one generation, (In 2012 with 8 years old) i play some of this nintendo games but not at all. Hope in the future i can play that amazing games like the f-zero, the megaman's, pikmin, the zelda games, etc. Thanks for this cover of the one and only EPIC GAMECUBE console, the gamecube intro with the smash melee intro was an amazing start, very epic as always man.

The originals of a few of these songs aren't even close to being my favourites, but you really do make them so much better. I groaned when I heard the first few notes of Baby Park, I laughed when it kept getting crazier.
This is by _far_ the best medley Jonny's done yet, I don't know how they keep getting better but I am so here for it!

I think, starting with Smash Bros Melee opening was the best idea possible. This theme is just so iconic and strong. And adding Fatalize just gave me goosebumps from memories.

You sir have hit every GameCube game on this melody that I played on the system itself. Except for Symphonia, Prime 2 Echoes, Pikmin, and that racing game that isn't Mario Kart or F-Zero. Twilight Princess as well, but I still played it on the Wii so it gets a free pass. Go and rest easy hero.

Y'know, back when I was naught but a wee lad barely in the double digits of age, I thought these medleys were the most disappointing parts of the channel, I mean, "what the hell it's so many songs that are so cool and could get their own cover but they just get like, a minute at best?? lame." But now, not only as a more mature person and an actual adult, but also as someone who has gone on to become a small amateur musician myself, they're the part of the channel I appreciate the most. Sure, some of these songs are incredible and are worth their own star appearance by themselves, but medleys are no small task, between picking a good selection, ordering it in a pleasing way, and don't get me started on how nightmarish making transitions between every song can be sometimes. Here's to this medley, and any and all that are to come in the future!
