There were a lot of games from that era that I was unable to play when I was growing up that I'd like to circle back on (like Wheel of Time for PC). #14 Enshrouded wasn't on my radar at all, as I was winding down from Palworld excitement I saw it on Steam. Read through the game description and didn't think much of what I thought was just another early access survival rpg, similar to Valheim. Boy, was I wrong. For a game that's in early access it has an incredibly large map with a good bit of content. It needs some work but I'll definitely be keeping my eye on it.
Really hope Little Devil Inside releases soon. Discovered, recently, that it was announced in 2015 as a Wii U game, so.. idk how much hope i have for it
about ubisoft and trying to force a service that we don't want, I think that having the game is not enough, I have around 1,300+ titles, but I can't play even half of them, my computer is from 2007, the most current console I've ever had I had a PSOne and I don't have the money to spend on something so expensive (especially in Brazil where a last generation console costs 4 months' salary and a reasonable PC practically 1 year, not to mention mandatory accessories, such as a monitor/TV ), especially for those who don't have that much time to play. What I think is the best solution for this are services like GeForce Now, it ensures that I play my games and it was the only reason that made me buy Cyberpunk 2077, I had no hope of my Core 2 Quad running the game, but Now I don't have to worry about that. Yes, it's not perfect and we still have some problems, mainly with the connection I have available in Brazil, but 10k games that I can't run versus being able to play the ones I already have, it's a much better business model in my opinion.
My take away is that the majority of upcoming open world games have these ubiquitous transparent brightly coloured particle effects. Seems to be the go-to visual effect for this game generation
Really hyped for Avowed. The outer worlds was fantastic and I just started playing new vegas for the first time ever and I now understand why people say its the best fallout.
Suicide Squad is this year’s Saints Row. How the mighty have fallen. Insomniac is going to knock it out of the park with Wolverine. Just look at their track record. Awesome video as always

@@OreoGamingGeekenshrouded is out and it's pretty great. I think what happened is they made this video before enshrouded came out
@@OreoGamingGeekThe title literally says "NEW Open World Game(s) of 2024". I'm fairly sure Palworld released just LAST MONTH. The only excuse that would work is if this video started production on the first week of January and they worked in the vacuum of space 😂
My guess is that a bright spark in the office either forgot or just decided it wasn't worth being on this list.
@@OreoGamingGeek Enshrouded released few days after Palworld also Suicide squad has been released few days ago maybe the video was edited before it’s release so is it?
Great job as always Jake! Just a heads up to check your audio settings - some odd reverb or something on your voiceover
This video must be pretty old. I mean, we already can watch videos about how you hate Suicide Squad.
My dream would be an open world, post-apocalyptic game, where you live in your own house (or an farm?) and you have to go out and explore and loot for materials and food. I guess if TLOU was an open world, do-your-own-thing kinda gane.
İs Palworld not open world?
Ark on ps5 now has a Human npc mod so its actually changed the solo game 100%. They even tame wild dinos. Saw one riding a Tappy.
What's the mod called? I'd like to try it out 👍
I’m praying hyperlight breaker is the game I’ve been waiting for. The movement looks nuts, the skills/ attacks look wild, only needs a killer sound track which it may very well already have and boom.
I really wish the option to go from 3rd person to 1st person was an option as you can VR those. Also the way rockstar did storyline and if you want online play. That is the best lots of people play solo but like the option of checking things out in multiplayer
According to the leaks, Marvel's Wolverine is scheduled for 2026, before that we might get a Venom spin-off (2025), similar to the Miles Morales spin-off game. Can't wait to see both!
Great list! Thanks for the effort and work putting this together! Really helps me ponder what the heck to buy and play. So many choices though! Hard to pick just one, damnit!
I have complete faith in light no fire, it will be great, just day one or year three like no man sky hehe.
Appreciate that you mentioned ExeKiller - we're working hard!
Where the winds meet needs to be on consoles aswell. Big potential in my eyes.
Really hope Little Devil Inside releases soon. Discovered, recently, that it was announced in 2015 as a Wii U game, so.. idk how much hope i have for it
Amazing, 2024 already looks good for gaming isn’t it!? Dragon’s Dogma 2 is probably gonna be the mega one this year!! Let’s see. ❤
the segment on suicide squad aged like fine milk
about ubisoft and trying to force a service that we don't want, I think that having the game is not enough, I have around 1,300+ titles, but I can't play even half of them, my computer is from 2007, the most current console I've ever had I had a PSOne and I don't have the money to spend on something so expensive (especially in Brazil where a last generation console costs 4 months' salary and a reasonable PC practically 1 year, not to mention mandatory accessories, such as a monitor/TV ), especially for those who don't have that much time to play.
I am really interested to know more about Light No Fire. That game has really caught my eye. I am intrigued.
My take away is that the majority of upcoming open world games have these ubiquitous transparent brightly coloured particle effects. Seems to be the go-to visual effect for this game generation
Light no fire - I am really hoping its a good game. It looks amazing.
I'm excited to see a new Test Drive in the works. I cannot overstate how incredible the first Test Drive Unlimited was to behold on the PSP.
I love how you guys don’t hate on games like everyone else, even if you name concerns you also name the things that could be positive
They should talk bad about bad games. They are advertising bad games.
well we know now how bad suicide squad is. No tiptoeing around that anymore
I have good hopes for light no fire. I’m sure they learned A LOT from NMS. It looks like it could be a lot of fun. I’m looking forward to it.
Enshrouded is the first PC game Ive been hooked on since Elden ring came out. It’s an amazing title.
