- We went over 4 years without a working Kitchen in our #fixerupper house and now we are finally assembling our cabinets! We purchased the cabinets from The RTA Store online. Working closely with our sales rep Chrissy, she sent us beautiful color renderings each time we made edits to our design.

Thanks for this video. I was surprised to see the quality of the upper white cabinets are not as good as the gray base cabinets even though they are the same cabinet design/style. Did you ever find out why or was it maybe wall cabinets are just cheaper quality than base cabinets? Thanks
I agree!! We never found out why, but I'm guessing it's because it's paint-grade wood, and not stain grade??
I am interested in quality and cost. I wish this video was a few years old so I could ask how they are holding up.
They've held up pretty great so far. It's been a little over a year since we installed them. The stain grade cabinets (gray) are definitely better overall quality wood than the white. The white doors are MDF (to reduce appearance of cracking) Overall we are happy with them! Highly recommend assembling them with glue. For cost, RTA frequently does promos!!

did you notice any off gassing/fumes from the cabinets? And if so how long!? TY!
Which cabinet style did you choose? You mentioned the bases are grey and wall cabs are white. Are the bases a different style than the wall cabs? I'm getting close to pulling the trigger on this and want to be sure I get a quality product. Your kitchen looks amazing BTW!!!
Hi!! The upper cabinets ate are Providence- (Providence White) and the lowers are Providence Slate Gray. There are linked above! :)

The RTA Store did it for us! We just had to provide the measurements.
Did they make that layout for you?
We had to design the layout of the kitchen and all the measurements of the cabinets and tell the designer what we wanted and she created the 3-D rendering for us. They will do pretty much unlimited changes and updates if needed!

how long did it take you per cabinet?
Hey Amy! Once we figured out how they were assembled, it took us about an hour per cabinet with the exception of the lazy susan which took us about 3 hours!
Maggie Fromm we just have two base vanity cabinets and a pantry that we’re using as a linen tower. Trying to figure out how long that would take... thank you for your reply !
