@@bpkliveproductions Don't tell Bob I said this, but Cross was as good or better last night than seeing Crimso back in the day. Great show, great band. I'll probably see the show in Detroit, too.
@@bpkliveproductions I'm 20 (so I would've been about -31yo in 1973) 😅. I think I've missed the chance by now to see King Crimson in any form/iteration, but hoping to see as many bands w/ former members as I can. Hopefully David Cross Band and/or Beat play some gigs in UK, and I'm planning to see Fripp (w/ Toyah) in December hopefully.
Now you see, that's what I mean. If you look at my previous comment, I thought the drummer did not blend into the band, but you have the opposite opinion, so maybe I'm wrong. I just saw the Beat, or King Crimson band in Clearwater. I would love to see this band. hopefully they will come to the Clearwater/Tampa area.
They are from the UK, so they tour around at least England quite a bit depending season. American Crim fans like myself are just so excited at their first tour of the States. Just want them to get decent or better turnouts following only 12 in Nashville, and doing videos like this to promote them can help. Go to davidcrossband-dot-com to find out about any future tour dates, merch and more.
A great and talented band, except for the drumming. Not that the drummer isn't good, but it sounds like he is playing on a garbage can, and a series of 5 gallon buckets. Now, that is just my opinion. it might not be shared by anyone else, I couldn't say, but for me, everything sounded perfect except for the sound of the drumming.
Miss their show in Detroit MI (at the Token Lounge) - at least I still have my paper Ticket!
Thank YOU for posting; looks like they were amazing! : )
Seeing him in Grand Rapids tonight, really psyched for it. Last time I saw him live was 51 years ago.
That's awesome. Would have loved to had seen KC in 73, but I was only 3yo then.

Looks like a great show! Will they be playing in the UK as well?
