    I can't imagine how large of a project you'd have to be rendering to need two 4090's. I'm running on a 4060ti, 13500 and 64 gb RAM and I'm exporting in 4k ultra settings and high RT in under 20s in a project that's about 2 by 2 city blocks up to 28 story buildings. My entire set-up cost less than a 4090 and I can't imagine a few seconds of render time being worth double the price 😐

      Hi there, images are one thing, but video is another. Try exporting a 1min 4K 60FPS video with path tracing on and see how long it will take.
      Add 360 degree's to that and you would be looking at days with a 4060Ti. 🙂
      Every person has different requirements and budgets, which is why we try catering to everyone.

    Will 32gb of ram be sufficient as the bare minimum for large scale project (>10gb of textures) with good enough gpu and cpu (4080 laptop with i9 13900hk), or is it simply isn't enough and 64gb is a must? Thanks

    Hi, i have two rtx a6000 with nvlink, but for one simple design i needed 10 min to render. What could cause it to be so slow?

    my 5600x + 3060 ti that i've been rocking for the past two years is doing ok for me as my projects are fairly small scale like single apartment buildings at max. if twinmotion makes new leaps in tech like the recent addition of lumen, will definitely look to upgrade.

    • @ModenaComputers
      @ModenaComputers  7 месяцев назад

      Honestly that's not a bad combo and I'd say you don't need to upgrade for a while. Our recommendations are more for users whose current systems aren't suitable for any kind of CAD software, or companies that are looking to expand.

    IYO would the RTX 4060Ti 16GB BE A Good paring with a Intel i7 12700k? and would the RTX 3060 12GB be a good fit with the same processor?

    • @ModenaComputers
      @ModenaComputers  10 месяцев назад

      If possible, we'd recommend the RTX 4060 Ti, but a 3060 would still be great. RTX 3060 was actually our standard recommendation for entry-level Twinmotion performance last year - note that when we say entry-level, we mean for smooth performance in reasonably large projects, rather than simply being able to run the software. Best of luck!

    which video card is better for lumion: rtx 4060 ti 16gb or rx 6800xt/7800xt. Does AMD or Intel CPU matter?

    • @ModenaComputers
      @ModenaComputers  7 месяцев назад

      Ciao Giovanni, grazie per la visione. We've found that Nvidia is better for Nvidia and AMD isn't quite as stable. In terms of CPU, either would be fine, but we get better performance from Intel.

    Multi-GPU will not work on A4000. Need A4500 or higher.

    • @GeniusArci2000

      Hi, do you think that multiple gpu should be be with nvlink adapter or without and than select multi gpu in UE settings ?

    • @angus43
      @angus43 2 месяца назад +1

      @@GeniusArci2000 Whether nvlink is needed to work with multi-gpu depends on the apps. For now twinmotion and UE will need nvlink although I believe UE is working on multi-gpu without nvlink. For octane render nvlink is optional (mainly for vram pooling) so if the scene fits the Vram nvlink is not needed.

  • @maximiliankroger2077

    Go for vram, why 3050? 3060 is rather the best budget option.

    Come on, RTX series 4000 DOES NOT support NVLINK/ SLI, so two 4090 is not supported. You need RTX A cards! Do some research before making a post.

    • @ModenaComputers
      @ModenaComputers  10 месяцев назад

      If you watch the first 10 seconds of the video, you will notice that Tianxiao specifically asks about 2 x RTX 4090, to which Colin, the Senior Product Manager responds positively.
      We have since read the release notes and documentation and can confirm that NVLINK/SLI is required.
      We will include a correction in the description to reflect this information.

    Is twinmotion suport amd cards?

      I have tried different stuff with TM 2023.
      I have a ryzen 9 5900x
      64gb of ram
      2tb nvme m.2 samsung drive
      And i tried 2 solutions for GPUs
      1. 3050 ti-runs the program quite nicely,you can do some good path traced renderings (4k not so mutch).It runs very smoothly but has problems when pathracing and exporting because of the VRAM mind i didnt know mutch about the program then.
      2.I tried going AMD as the next option and i bought an AMD 6800 16gb as I have seen that the minimum VRAM was 12 gb and i thought it will run well.
      But I've had a lot more problems with it then the 3050ti.
      The path tracer 2x longer at high setting,exporting very long and a lot of crashes,video exporting was impossible at 4k 60 frames,it worked on lower resolutions and lower frame rates.
      I tried basicly everything-overclocking,undervolting and everthing that i could and it didnt work.
      I have ordered a 4090 before the new year and im waiting for it to arrive.I'm in some bigger projects now (architecute) and i need, a fast worklflow without any laggs and my pc freezing up due to lack of memory or something else.
      If you don't have any other solution buy an AMD card it works but know that it is going to be slower.

      @@miloseviczoran0 Zorane, hvala puno na komentaru. Ja se poslednje vreme dvoumim izmedju rtx 3090 i AMD RX 7900 XTX... Studiram arhitekturu i 3D dizajn me interesuje u istoj meri kao i konstrukcija objekta. Zeleo bih da skupim novac i sastavim jaku PC mašinu, sa kojom necu imati problema sa renderom vecih projekata (koje trenutno ne radim, a i ono sto isprojektujem bude ili za faks ili nešto što za sebe odradim...). 4090 je zver, trenutno nema nista jače na tržištu, lepo će da te služi. Onda sam više za Nvidia grafičke, ako su stabilnije kao što kažeš. Hvala još jednom na komentaru, srećno sa projektima, pozdav.

      Ma nista naravno,nemas gde da nadjes informacije o ovome.Bas nema konverzacija.
      Isto sam razmisljao za XTX mada sam digao ruke od nje.Top je kartica za sve drugo sem za Ray Tracing-path tracing tu se amd gubi skroz.A ovo novo resenje-lumen ti top stvar za manje rezolucije ali ako ti treba nesto kvalitetnije path teacer najbolji.
      Takodje sam probao ostale programe za ove potrebe D5 npr-top ali za video smrt na AMD kartama.
      Bolje sacuvaj kupi NVIDIU-jesu lopovi ali su za ovo nazalost najbolji.
