Hi Igort, With the R-122 MKII which is active you would not need a dBooster because the microphone has a much hotter signal. In addition, the dBooster would block phantom power from getting to the mic so the mic would not work at all with the dBooster.
Hi guys, I would like to ask you something, I have the 122 MK II which is active, is dBooster necessary???

@@rickperrotta ok thanks, in fact I am very happy with my 122 mkii, regards
how about a ribbon mic based on a 121 with a built in dB booster?
Hey! We probably won’t do something like this for the R-121. The R-122 is close, but only has a gain improvement of 13dB.
The R-122 is pretty close!
